I haven't watched season 2 much but was watching few tracks on hotstar to get an idea. Kaira love story was actually properly written and family bonds shown well. There were no filler scenes and they had a lot of nok jhok. It was a mix - some tracks were good and some were bad. I believe their love story was good initially? Like mix of romance, nok jhok, sass. You have watched so you must be having an idea. Also Kaira looked very good in one frame but this abhira pair doesn't seem to match up to me.

Yes Kaira's love story at the beginning and through the first year was magical, and they did look very good together, both young and fresh-faced. Of course they were also progressively ruined by giving Kartik some of the controlling and inconsiderate traits we've seen in Abhimanyu and making Naira a mahanta and tyaag ki devi like Akshara.

I find HC very attractive so that may be why Abhira don't seem odd to me (just different from a typical ITV couple). If it had been a different actor of a similar age, I don't know how I would've reacted. It's clear the writers wanted this age difference, I don't get some of the opinions saying there's only supposed to be a few years age difference between Abhimanyu and Akshara.

I don't mind their pairing either. Akshara is suppose to be younger and Abhimanyu is suppose to be older at least 30+ for being an accomplished surgeon/doctor/emergency paramedic/cardiologist/heart surgeon/ and whatever else Birla Hospital needs him to be 🤔 he's going to deliver his kids I'm telling you. Suddenly he will be an obstetrician

Two good looking people on screen But I do think they need to tone down some of the cutesy whiny things Abhimanyu is suddenly doing.

As a teenager I had started believing in this definition but no Jija ji ka pyaar is a tight slap on my face.

4. Coming to next assuming things is jija fav hobby apart from cheeze todana, he assumes Aarohi saved me, Akshu also loves me without me confessing it, Goenkas understand me reagrdless of how many times I play idhar udhar.
5. No one can push Akshu around but I can dance forcefully however much I want. Aarohi or Harsh Birla can't force Akshu on anything but I can n will force her to attend my function.
6. Love should be shared yeh sab ne sunna hoga but pain should also be shared pehele baar suna.
7. Lets plan to elope then lets go n try to get fams to get around n then end up in Mandir what are you saying dude are you nuts or something, you were promised as a Mature Dr not a whiny fickle minded 5 year old to us.
8. Abhimanyu Birla has still not anwered a big question when he was engaged to the other sister why didn't he ever tried to move on from another. Ik everyone says that's what he had promised but is it even practical in real life now. Anyone who says yes pls expain maybe I'll try to understand ur pov. Marriage is supposed to be sacred bond not a contract paper.

I can go very long but lets wrap saying everyone is saying Abhi is a man with flaws, which is accepted that we all have flaws but Thes flaws are now exceeding the acceptable range

Same Aarohi type behaviour when she said tum kya mujhe thukraoge, mai tumhe thukrati hu in mandir. Both Aarohi and abhimanyu have the same attitude after being rejected. Both are selfish and stubborn. They want what they want. Whether people believe it or not, abhimanyu is a pampered kid in his house. He got everything he wanted. He overachieved in academics and for him, having akshara was also an achievement. He wanted her anyhow.

10) creepily touching your saali's feet when nurse can do that. Eyeing a person constantly who was rejected you

11) not even an ounce of care for family reputation and even Akshara's and her equation with her family after this eloping kaand happened.

There were such lapses in judgment by Abhimanyu, which doesn't fit the smart capable surgeon persona.

We saw he could read between the lines in the resort scenes. He understood Kairav's suspicion of him, he even saw the uneven dynamic between Akshara and Arohi and he KNEW Arohi was the reason of Akshara's panic attack (Arohi leapt in and said she was joking after which Akshara calmed down, proving it was something Arohi had said or done that provoked the attack).

He had enough evidence that Arohi was domineering and selfish, yet he still believed SHE was the reason Akshara came to shield him from Ruby's accusations and that Arohi ran into a fire to save him. He had even seen Akshara going in to try and save the children while Arohi was holding her back. It really should not have taken the picture to make him think something was wrong with Arohi's story.

And I totally agree with you (bold) - this is the problem. He's gone beyond flawed, straight into problematic.

THIS. (9) was just terrible, especially with the forcible washing off the mehndi and the breaking of the bowl - behaving so destructively in someone else's house too. That's why people on this forum have made the point that Akshara will be swapping one overwhelming controlling person in her life for another...

Even after all this the joke is on us viewers who still watch this shit, I had a small hope that after the photo ends up in Abhi's hand he'll be back to a Mature person but NOOO.

That had to be ruined, why is Manish not proud that Akshu had a choice n chose her family over Abhi.

She could have happily got married to Abhi but No the only pain Manish can see is Aarohi.

Abhi is just as similar as other leads now nothing new nothing fresh. Kudos to the writers for ruining him beyond redemption 👏

Its funny how in the name of love we are ready to accept even if its on TV. But its imp to understand that multimedia plays a huge role in influencing our daily life regardless of what we say. Writers should be a bit careful while writing their characters, somewhere its their fault in sending wrong messages to society.

Be it Aarohi's hate going overboard, Abhimanyu's Love going overboard, Akshu's family love going overboard n then Family's ignorance to one child going overboard.🤬

I now guarantee that RS has nothing to do with this series anymore, they have managed to kill YRKKH essence with this level of toxicity in this season. Even in EK show they have 1 character in female leads fam who fully supports n loves her, but yaha ab tak aisa koi hain hi nahi.🤢

Even normal lovers romancing this way in public in India is not digestible by society( although I know that's wrong because western countries people make out do whatever they want in public its a very normal thing there ) but here they are already in a very tough situation and doing whatever they want.

And if they are indeed this shameless, why caring so much about family's acceptance? Go away and get married.

P.S - such cheap majnu stunts by a doctor is not acceptable. They should have shown him to be shown as it was in earlier episodes.

I don't think the Romeo - Juliet family enmity stuff is going to look good or interesting as the friction for Abhira. It won't work, atleast for me. Waise bhi I just don't like this kind of lovers being separated bcz of families' differences trope. You're right akshu and abhi can easily move away and get married, there's nothing left now for them to salvage. I also don't think abhira is comparable to kaira. Karthik despite being very young was already on his way to establish his career separate from his family business. He made his way, proved himself capable of supporting a family on his own and then went ahead to get married. This kind of thing would look good for abhira. Abhi has everything working for him to go his own way. And it's Akshu who wants to play khandan like naira did. But I'm just repeating here what Intoxicator, borntorule and aishapl013 have said so completely.

I just want to add...this silly kind of romantic scenes for abhira are even worse than their ruined story. I am never a fan of that kind of nok jhok but still Mohsin could pull it off nicely whereas it looks creepy and revolting when HC does it. Sorry to his fans... But please I want some good sophisticated, witty banter with intense looks. That'll do, thanks, not hearts, flesh wale, neon or on tic tac toe grids.

Truthfully, I'm sort of a sucker for the hot older dude/younger woman pairing. It's true he does look older than her (well, he is older) but to me they're both still eye candy...

I don't find the chemistry between them attractive anymore because their dynamic has been so badly butchered over the Arohi engagement track. Also I don't like the mushy romance we're being shown, I liked it when Abhimanyu acted like cool and suave towards her. The Goenka house car scene, to me, was the pinnacle of their romantic chemistry - everything about that scene was perfect.

Harshad and Pranali give Beauty and the Beast Vibes. If you want to see Pranali with a Prince then he needs to have features similar to Pravisht Mishra.

I understand that Pranali has a baby face and this point of time someone like Namik Paul also will look older than her. He is 6 ft. 4. Karan Kundra has more of baby features, still the age difference is visible.

It is not the look old factor but the dialogue delivery of the leads that are going against the character. Yes both of them are not upto the mark. I feel they aren't Abhira but Harshali. Watch their SBS interviews. When they become serious, the scenes are executed well as both can carry off multiple emotions on their faces.

If I go back to Humsafars then Sahir Azeem Choudhary is more masculine, rugged and handsome than Abhimanyu Birla. There was a Bts where HC in his Sahir look was jogging on the road, practically everyone turned to see who is running. He makes his presence felt. His lead ie Shivya Pathania too had a baby face in 2014.

I am all game for such couples..so for me age is just a number. Yes if the creatives hamper an actors over all personality then I will point out.

I want the pre Tilak scenes where Abhimanyu treated Akshara as man loves a woman types. He flirted with Akshara.

Can these duo of Bhavna and Garima take a back and watch episodes of Dil Se Dua Saubhagyavati Bhava Or Sarawatichandra. Utkarsh and Saba are more capable and competent in giving us the much needed romance instead of baby talk.

Harshad is very good in intimate scenes..Abhi treating Akshara as a kid should go.

Incidentally, I don't think Manish is only thinking of Aarohi's happiness. He was against her marrying into the birlas and she went behind his back with the help of AG. Even now he was still considering what would be the best step when this decision has been forced on him bcz of abhi's and akshu's impatience and shamelessness. Akshu won't be able to bring the families together. She hasn't the spine to stand up to abhi and keep him at arm's length till everything gets resolved. So such scenarios like today's with kairav and then the guests will be bound to happen and that will only strain relations more.

Also I think Manish showed class when he just wanted to take leave politely when first the families came face to face and his family followed him. But Harsh went and acted like the new money wala upstart that he is.
