Does the Romeo and Juliet scenario work with Abhira?

After what Manish said today, we're heading into the 'two houses divided' scenario - Goenkas will not now or in the future have anything to do with the Birlas. And we see Abhira being drawn apart, each going with their family. Shuru hui Romeo aur Juliet waali kahani. But does this even make sense here?

Romeo and Juliet were teenagers, 14 and 15 years old. They were dependent on their families.

But Akshara and Abhimanyu are adults who are earning their own livelihoods. Akshara has already lived on her own for 3 years. Abhimanyu is a top surgeon and, just one episode ago, was ready to leave his family and home. They've already broken a lot of family ties. In Akshara's case, Bade Papa won't even take water from her if he's choking and her sister hates her guts. They were both previously willing to elope.

So, at this point why not cut their losses, tell their unreasonable families to go suck an egg, and just walk off together into the sunset?

Thoughts? How realistic is this separation track likely to be?

Right! Despite Akshara going on about jodo-ing their families, it's obvious at this point neither really care about their families - and you know, I'm fine with that. Besides the fact, their families are massively dysfunctional, sometimes grownups do need to fly from the nest.

If Kaira had stayed in their little flat, we'd have had a different and much less toxic S2 storyline. It's time ITV explored nuclear families instead of just nuclear storylines🤣

I'm wondering about Abhimanyu's audicity. Why is he hell bent on behaving shameless in love? Was that heart at ak really needed, even when kairav was uncomfortable he didn't stop.

He has put both akshara and Aarohi in a humiliating situation. He says he cares a lot about Akshara's izzat during molestation drama, but happily made her run away with him knowing well she will lose her reputation and family too. All the talks around Akshara izzat now is because of abhimanyu. He could have simply called off the wedding that day by exposing Aarohi's lies and dealt with akshara later but he was least bothered about both the girls izzat. He was only keen on getting his love by any means.

Even today all the time grabbing her, taking her away- why is he in so much rush? The girl has confessed to you. Why can't you behave decent? He took akshara to fly the kite today and that's when they both fell.

Then he kept on arguing.

In real life too society mocks such people . Even normal lovers romancing this way in public in India is not digestible by society( although I know that's wrong because western countries people make out do whatever they want in public its a very normal thing there ) but here they are already in a very tough situation and doing whatever they want.

And if they are indeed this shameless, why caring so much about family's acceptance? Go away and get married.

P.S - such cheap majnu stunts by a doctor is not acceptable. They should have shown him to be shown as it was in earlier episodes.

This exactly! You're 100% correct, at this point he doesn't care about her reputation - or his (which was probably mud by the time the bike wala beating video went viral). Except for his Maa he doesn't really care about his own family either. He definitely doesn't care about the Goenkas after the way he's behaved. And Akshara is already an outcast in her own family. They have very little to lose at this point by just going off and getting married. No need for a drawn out separation track.

Abhimanyu is a hypocrite. He says something and he does something totally else. He told kairav "mera sirf ek chehra hai!" "Aapki behein ko kabhi chot nai pohochunga!" But has done only opposite till now 😆

The way he has behaved he has 100 shades which is scary

Actually we always talk how toxic Aarohi and Abhi are for Akshu but in reality Goenkas are more worst. I've always hated Goenkas right from season 2 Manish is so egoistic that he doesn't want to see the pain in his grand daughter's heart. Regardless of how pathetic Birlas are they do love him whereas Akshu is never considered as family. Manish agreed to keep Aarohi's happiness on top keeping aside his ego, then why not same with Akshu.

I really want Akshu to vent this out on Manish its high time now, Akshu is getting really irritating now a days. Roz har koi aake suna deta hain usee, I mean what the hell how exactly spineless is she now. Even Manjiri speaks up when it comes to her parvarish on Abhi but Akshu toh 🤢

I swear if Akshu still keeps on crying 2-3 instances more I'm going to bid my farewell to this serial. Cuz its an insult to all the women out their who try to voice out their opinions. I can't tolerate this shit, its like watching Gopi bahu from Saathiyan. I was strong supporter of Akshu cuz I believed family love is imp but to do something for such family is similar to wasting ur efforts on Aarohi who at the end of day doesn't care.

Akshu is the worst female lead for now in the history of RS even Anupama had a breaking point. I'm so done with Akshu now. 😡
