To me, Abhimanyu comes across as Aditya Hooda-lite in range and scope. HC did all this within a much more nuanced story in Bepannah. I have no idea what he saw in this show that stretches his skill beyond what he has already done but he has seen the script and I have not so… *shrug*

Akshara is a peace maker that much is clear. So I can understand her saying no at the house when she still thought of her sisters humiliation. But it’s totally odd at this point that she’s willing to ruin three people’s lives to no purpose. It should be clear at least to Akshara after the fire incident that Arohi does not love Abhi and will not be looking out for his welfare. I’ve discussed above why I don’t think even the families would be unhappy if they got Akshu as bahu even at this stage. I mean, these guys are ready to break the rishta over a rescheduled date so what’s a bride swap within a family 😆

Truthfully take all my posts with a grain of salt - the logic in this show is very diffuse and yes I am trying to troll the writers while sharing a laugh with the other IF dudettes…🤗

But Akshara definitely has issue regarding guilt over what happened to Sirat hence she lets Arohi throw her tantrums and even gives in to prove things to her sister.

But still having to walk into a relationship where the parents did not want you as the bahu is still daunting.

In the beginning I don't think Akshara was ruining anyone's life. I mean you still have to question yourself can you fall in love in 2 days with a stranger and know nothing and know nothing about their family and suddenky want to take the next big step and get married? Depsite coming from an emotional family (the Goenkas) Akshara makes relatively reasonable decisions.

Arohi is too practical but most of her decisions are selfish, ego centric, or out of fear.

Akshara thinks a bit more before she makes her move. Sometimes things don't exact pan out the way you hoped.

@bold Because ITV run on TRPs any logic goes out the window and characters that were sketch one way go a completely different direction or just get dumbed down or smarted up per convenience 🤔

To answer your question ."kuch bhi" hota hai yahan🤪 They r not meant to be taken seriously . I block out arohi and harsh and enjoy abhi-akshu 😉 they made it easy for me. Arohi doesn't love abhimanyu , and harsh only wants pr . Arohi right now is having the pleasure of having her fav toy ..let her have it..true love will rise and shine when the day comes...I don't feel bad for her , nor will I, when abhi dumps her. She chose this ..infact the three of them made informed decisions..they were not forced nor coerced..its neither revenge nor anger...let them face the heat , and then destiny will play its part.

Thx for the post 🤗 akshu's sacrifice or whatever is not convincing to me. If she is burdened by the guilt of her mother's death , she has no right to play with abhimanyus life. If she didn't love him, then it was ok, she can try n push arohi to him but even then lying is not done.. knowingly doing all this and lying through her teeth makes her the equal culprit as arohi and abhimanyu...even I can't stand dishonesty ..how can the foundation of love be built on trust and understanding when one partner is dishonest ? Akshu has a long way to go.

Guilt. The girl had been made to feel guilty about sirat's death her whole life by Aarohi. She don't want start a new life with more guilt, she would never be happy.

There are million other reasons but this is the most important one. At least that's what I think.😊

One kills her with hate and the other kills her with love. Both give her anything with excess amount and akshu doesn't want to be poisoned by any of these. 😎

Yeah I think today's episode drove that home - guilt and also compassion for Arohi having to witness something so horrible as a child (i found that concern of Akshara kind of touching actually). She wants to give Arohi something in her life that will help her move on from this tragedy but I agree with @_charu_ that pushing her towards a loveless marriage that is built on inherent dishonesty is not the way. It is practically certain to cause Arohi immense pain later in her life.

I also agree with @iheartchai that Akshara in some ways is the most reasonable of the Goenkas (not a high bar to cross!) but here she is being very unreasonable or at least wilfully blind to the huge mistake she is helping her sister make. We can also discuss why she is taking on more guilt by canoodling with her dear JIJAJI - in the last few episodes, she is not even really trying to stay away from him. And now we are getting a roop tera mastana moment... which will not move the plot forward because guaranteed neither will remember anything the next day

Great point - Aarohi and Abhi really are mirror images (ziddi self-obsessed overachievers with a narrow outlook beyond their own self-interest)
