In the beginning it was her sister especially with the whole tilak fiasco.

Then she saw how the families fought thought this could be tough to mend.

On top of that she knew how Abhi's parents wanted Arohi. So there is also a bit of low self esteem issues. To knowingly walk into a household where you know the parents did not want you to be their son's wife and have to prove yourself to them all the time.

And now that Abhi himself asked for the rishta and Bade Papa said yes to the alliance Akshara saying she loves Abhi now does little. Sure it will make Abhi super happy but the families would not be. She would be at fault for everything. The decisions have already been made it is too late now. So she is just trying to make peace with the decisions made.

So whatever is going to happen next has to big enough to put Arohi into the wrong but somehow make it all right for Abhi and Akshara to get together with both families agreeing to this relationship.

Akshara has shown enough times now that she doesn’t have self esteem issues - she’s stood up for herself in front of Arohi, Abhi, Mahima and Harsh without blinking an eye. In fact the only person who has low self esteem issues is clearly Arohi.

Akshara is a peace maker that much is clear. So I can understand her saying no at the house when she still thought of her sisters humiliation. But it’s totally odd at this point that she’s willing to ruin three people’s lives to no purpose. It should be clear at least to Akshara after the fire incident that Arohi does not love Abhi and will not be looking out for his welfare. I’ve discussed above why I don’t think even the families would be unhappy if they got Akshu as bahu even at this stage. I mean, these guys are ready to break the rishta over a rescheduled date so what’s a bride swap within a family 😆

Truthfully take all my posts with a grain of salt - the logic in this show is very diffuse and yes I am trying to troll the writers while sharing a laugh with the other IF dudettes…🤗
