Neither of them are great actors. But Mohsin is at least convincing in all the roles he play, be it a son, lover, husband or father. You don't cringe every time he does something different. Her dialogue delivery and acting irritates the hell out of me these days. As Naira, she was good initially and tolerable later. But now she is simply irritating. I want to smack my head somewhere every time she opens her mouth and delivers dialogue in that weird accent of hers. Even today, I wanted to laugh so badly seeing her reaction after Ranveer's accident. It was so so bad. I would say that Mohsin as improved a lot as an actor over the years but Shivangi has gone down completely. It looks like she don't even make an effort to improve unlike Mohsin.

I agree with you.. I just dont like Shivangi's role as Sirat. As it is them showing her as a boxer is a waste.. Other than Shivangi punching in the air when she is angry there is nothing about it. And her passion about Boxing doesnt come out well at all in her acting.. Also the different dialect that she speaks,,, is also not good. Oh god I can go on and on.. I know the makers did try to bring in some new theme to the show, but Shivangi has not been able to bring justice to the role. The story line as it is dragging and on top of that over the top acting of Sirat ... Cant stand the serial.. I keep watching it off and on only and make sure that I skip sirat's scene. Just cant stand her voice and crying and pointless passion for boxing

She is getting intolerable nd annoying everyday, I watched today's epi nd what was that? It was so bland!! She cant perform those heavy intense emotional scenes so they give her a pizza to eat which is full of spice nd still the scene looked really really bland, nd then the boxing with blindfold🤣I died there what was that even??? Kya tha matlab? Why was tht scene even? Ek punch nai mara dhang ka...I mean why do u give her such scenes where she cudnt even hit the punching bag? She is not a pro boxer where she cud pull of lol, even actual boxers dont do that, why does the team think that she can do anything where clearly she cant do it at all? She was finding bag kaha hai 😆 I mean where was the anger, emotions, no intensity tht scene needed some intensity, but it was zero. How did the director say ok to that take? So flat nd bland. I so can go on ranting nd ranting tht how bad the writing nd how pathetic bland acting is!

I can't stand Sirat even for a single second😡. She's hella annoying. because of her writers Kartik-Kairav scenes bhi nahi dekhaty hain

Even mohsin playing a father...he is almost playing 8-9 years older character to his age.

I remember Erica was played a mother at 23 as well in kuch rang pyaar ke aise bhi, she did it well, Reem sheikh is just 16-17 years she plays a mother, quite well. It depends on the actors how u play. If u are a good actor u can play any kinda role, even a grandfather or even a 10 year old.

That's kinda true. Agree, hina is an avg actor. But she pulled off akshara quite well as a mother of teenager for her age.

I think team is also to be blamed. Least the actor cud do is research on that role or try to bring in some variation as d story moves. Even now, as sirat, definitely a flawed character or poorly written..but sometimes, the way d actor plays it, makes you feel for them, but shivangi cudnt pull it off. I always feel, d imperfect or a subtle grey char in d leads, is a good watch in terms of performances than d perfect ideal chars. As sirat, there was definitely a chance to perform.

I don't think d team on a whole did any research on boxing as well. I give it to her hardwork for learning boxing parallely, then again shoot.. but d character needed more in terms of d performances than just put on gloves, moving hands and showing dat anger, which just looked lame. Sometimes, d character gets popular that the team n fans forget, whether they r gud actors. Rs n team I guess thought they cud only emphasise only on female char sirat..but kinda backfired.. bcos I don't see much of Kartik scenes post sirat's track.. its quite less when compared to other leap tracks n no variation as well for him now. Atleast, they cud hav given better scenes for Mohsin as a single father.. cud hav watched that n they used to be adorable, instead of trying to force that also with sirat n kairav.
