What do u think abt shivangi ans Mohsin's acting these days

Mohsin, though there is nothing written for him these days....but plays it really well, his acting is so subtle nd he plays this mature person which still is the saving grace for me, he has brought a new shade of kartik despite playing the same character ter for 5 years now almost, he tries to play nd add his own flavor as well, which makes it good, the show has became all abt sirat!! Because I loved those scenes between kartik-akshu. Nd kartik-kairav are amazing.

Shivangi has just become too cringe nd ott.

Mohsin : Chef's kiss. His acting is part of the reason why I connect with Kartik a lot more than Naira. He started out pretty meh but has consistently gotten better. Comedy, dance, aggression, romance, tenderness, crying.. Dude has aced pretty much all of them. (Apart from his stupid Punjabi accent LOL) Plus, he has chemistry with all of his costars. That's commendable. His & Kairav's scenes before Sirat's entry were probably the last time I loved something in this show. But off late ever since Sirat has moved to GV, dude seems so out of it. This is the first time I'm not connecting with Kartik due to his performance. He looks half asleep on autopilot now.

Shivangi : She too started out pretty meh. Good dancer, though. The way unmarried Naira would ✨ softly ✨ deliver dialogues was actually pretty funny LOL. I really started liking her after Akshara's death. How cutely she apologized to Kartik for alleging him of Akshara's death is still my favourite. I literally cried during Naira's vidaai (and I'm not even married LOL). But after that, her performance just kept on going downhill. No variation or subtly even when given the chance. Her cuteness became only baby voice. Her comedy became cringe. Her crying became screeching + constantly wiping tears off her chin. That too the same amount of tears & same style of crying, no matter the situation. Her romance is only sexy chin-jutting face. Also, she only has chemistry with Mohsin. So because of that even Naira lacks chemistry with other characters.

But now as Sirat it's so bad that I literally cannot watch her scenes with earphones. And I forward through most of her part. She really really really needs to learn how to modulate her voice & expressions. Stans & TV audience might be able to tolerate this loud cringe. We Hotstar audience can't.

East or west Mohsin is the best ⭐️ Shivi sorry to say is nothing but cuteness and dancing because she can't act. Mohsin has imo been given more to play with character graph wise to allow him to flex his acting muscles since the beginning of the show.... shivi had less to play with because post marriage naira character graph went down and it stayed consistent as a mahaan cry-baby.

I participate in many fandoms here and there, and I have noticed across the board any person of any fandom who ever mentions about yeh rishta never say anything bad about mohsin but criticise and mock shivi's acting in the show, which is quite telling.

She had so much to play....like Mumbai track or as a single mother but she cudnt bring the depth or layers!! Nd right now she has a complete diff character but fails pathetically, like she just acts the same.

Yeah as Genniee said, Shivangi got a lot of chances. Like Naira's memory loss or dual act during Sita Choudhary track, among others that Genniee mentioned.

But everytime she was given the opportunity to do something other than regular Naira maata stuff, she got worse instead of better. Like during Naira's memory loss.. Mohsin was giving some of his best scenes while Shivangi was stuck giving a superficial performance. Her 'cute clueless girl' dialogue delivery was quite silly. The contrast in quality of performances only made things more apparent.

Also with Kairav.. 3 different actors but she didn't have much chemistry with any. In fact, the current Kairav has much better chemistry with the actor playing his grandfather than his mother. I really enjoy Kairav-Manish scenes from a performance point of view.

LOL acha ye kab hua? I thought me not liking her acting was an unpopular opinion. I only check Twitter sometimes & there her fans talk like she's Meryl Streep.😛

I have no love at all for Kartik’s character despite of that, I find Mohsin’s acting to be really good. Whatever he is given, he works hard and it shows. He portrays all emotions well - my fav hands down from recent is when he mourned alone for baby Kaira. It was a very heart touching scene. After that his acting showing the guilt, frustration etc was good.

His comic timing is also funny and not forced. I sometimes get a little... bored of the romantic avatar but that’s coz the cvs have overused those scenes till nothing new or exciting remained.

For Shivi, she was good-ish at the start. She did get many many different avatars to play - yet her acting has only gone downhill. Naira’s crying scenes can be copy pasted in all episodes and wouldn’t make any difference. Her comic timing is just cringey when she goes ott and uses that baby voice,

as sirat she is the worst. The character annoys me to no end and it’s Shivi’s portrayal which makes it even more atrocious. I seriously wonder if Sirat (the character) even has any fans. The character and the actor’s ott acting has made me stop watching YR on a regular basis.

No it's not unpopular opinion 😂 nd whatever u see on Twitter are all her fans or kaira fans. Also they praise any kinda shit scenes even. Also not with her but many other fandoms of certain, actors or actresses where the actors cant act but still the entire fandom acts like she/he are best actors nd one can act like they do 🤣

Mohsin and shivangi are good actors😌

🤣 No of course no yeh rishta/ kaira fan have I heard on social media publically trash her acting. Basically I've interacted with a few different fandoms since kaira first entered, often in private group chats or in chats on other forums, and any time if yeh rishta or kaira cropped up in a discussion shivi's acting was mocked, but not once have I seen any one in any of the chats I've had with someone outside of yeh rishta fandom has anybody said anything bad for mohsin's acting.
