I don't get what Naira is going to say to Karthik that will make him melt. I mean she got pregnant. For 9 1/2 months she probably went through what most pregnant women go through. Why should we feel sorry for her when this is the path she chose for herself. If she suffered in her pregnancy it was her own choices that led to that. She could have gone to the Singhania's but she chose not to. Right now the only time she met with the Singhania's was to tie rakhi to her brother. Shouldn't Kairav be allowed to spend time also with the Singhania's.

I don't feel sorry for Naira one bit. You reap what you sow.

@bold red - I wonder why doesnt this apply to anyone else ? Not swrna who hid her kid...she was like forgiven so fast ...naira did nothing compared to her... or kdadi she is toh a criminal...why doesnt she reap ? Why doesnt mansi get any punishment for killing akshara that was a hit and run....or why didnt manish get any backlash or guilt knowing that he was the one who told naira to go and do projects ...why doesnt any single person in the house reap what they sow but naira does ? She is the one suffering the most. She is the one who lost het family...she is the one who struggled...kartik yes missed her but he was loved and cared ...he even had a girl crushing on him.... what more does a person need ? What about smarath chachu or akhilesh ? Or anyone in goenkas ?

Bang on... This is what really gets me mad. Why always Naira? Why does everyone else get away with crimes even big as manslaughter with a slight slap on the wrist. I have no sympathy for Kartik... Don't talk big if you can't prove your worth when the time comes. Kartik loves his wife so much that he was willing to abort his baby to save her life from possible risk. If he can question that wife then why wouldn't he question the unborn child. Naira has gone through major illness then soon before she recovered she went through one crap after another at the Goenkas, even sexual harrasment. Then when she stood up against it she was made feel guilty for putting the family in financial difficulties. Was kdadi supportive? No instead she was busy adding to that gulit and increasing insecurity in Kartik about his wifes success. That jealousy then turned to insecurity. I'm sorry I might have read to much in to those scenes but Kartik was rude to Naira during that phase. Then the nail in the coffin Kartiks question on her character. Any woman would go into some sort of depression after going through so much crap especially a pregnant woman. Not sure how cv's will justify Naira running away but my sympathy goes to Naira regardless of what she has done cuz what ever she did was because she was broken, hurt and scared and if everyone else is spared from crimes bigger then hers why should Naira suffer so much?

Exactly my point ... no one is jusitfying what naira did was right but man if we really look into it...she was the one getting all the pressure from family and manish... she did what any girl would do...also singhanias would send her away again as keesh relationship is affected...i still remember keerti being like its because of nairas relationship mine and naksh relationship is in trouble. And what sort of family they even are ? Thus her running away...

What makes me more mad is easy acceptance of vedika no matter what time frame she was with the family ...she would never make sacrifices or will take family out of problems like naira did... kartik did suffer but naira suffered more ...she is already suffering seeing kartik with someone else and everyone in family behaving so good with vedika...atleast kartik doesnt see naira with any other guy...or i wish that would show how she really feels.

No no goenkas are to mahan its naira who should be punished for her sins ( sarcasm ) .

Despite all that has happened people still want Karthik and Naira to patch up and remarry? She could have chosen to runaway and abort the baby. Why carry the child of a man who doesn't trust you. She could have filed for divorce, aborted the child and gone on with her life. What is left in Karthik and Naira's marriage that is worth fighting for. There is nothing. It is better if Naira starts fresh with a new man in her life where she doesn't have any history. Just saying they love each other doesn't mean anything when they have been separate 7 out of the 10 years they have been married. I don't feel bad for Naira or Karthik. They are in the situation that they are in today due to their own faults. What is special in the Goenka's? Nothing. For me Naira going back to Karthik is a big mistake. She is doing a blunder living in the Goenka house. Naksh says right about Naira. She doesn't listen to anybody. As the title of the thread says, "A tragic end of an epic show."

I agree with what you said. I don’t want Naira to go back to Goenka’s .. however I am willing to forgive Kartik. He asked the question, but regretted the next moment. Sometimes it is better to ask than to be bottled up, and continue the toxic relationship. There should have been at least one mature conversation between the two, before Naira decided to separate. Besides, Kartik had supported her unconditionally on numerous occasions including Raghav’s allegation about abortion.

The showmakers cash on Kaira’s separation. TRP goes up, as the viewers wait in anticipation for Kaira’s “mahamilan” each time. That’s ok, but why Naira had to come back as a “bechari” this time. I can understand that she ran away from Singhanias too, thinking that Kirti would inform Kartik about her whereabouts. However, she could have easily gotten help from Naitik or Nani under secrecy. She could have given a better life to Kairav, while she worked upon her career. It would have been better if the writers came up with a new, modern storyline, instead of the age old bigamy track.

Kartik could have filed for divorced or termination of the marriage but he hasn’t, so based on the technicalities Kaira are still legally married.

Marriage doesn’t just become void on the word of mouth.

The link above says UK. I think the law in India requires 7 years for presumption of death. Still then divorce is not implicit; one has to file for divorce based on the presumption of death.
