Everything points towards the wedding actually happening and being complete. Vedika came to the hospital with sindoor and mangulsutra. If everyone plotted this wedding to break Naira, the timing doesn’t add up. Kartik was too broken at that moment to plan something to get back at Naira. Even Dadi said the wedding happened.

I don’t remember the exact dialogues but even when Kaira were at the hospital, Dadi and Manish said something along the lines of Vedika being Kartik’s wife. They have said this dialogue so many times, so would be stupid if they end up saying that the marriage was actually a facade.

The cvs can do anything though. The audience doesn’t remember the details anyways, so they can always cook up a backstory especially based on the family’s reaction when Kartik ran off after the wedding. Manish clearly said Kartik will marry Vedika only, implying they weren’t married.

IDK why but I am starting to feel like the wedding never happened either.

I agree, they are keeping the option open of whether K-V are married or not. May be the makers wanted to show that Kartik left mandap without getting married when Manish said “shadi to Vedika se hogi”. However, due to increasing trp, they chose to prolong the separation. Hence showing that marriage actually happened.

At this point, it won’t be right to show that marriage never happened. Family members are talking among themselves, and thinking in their minds about the dilemma they are in due to K-V marriage. This will be too implausible to pretend. It will be better if they just annul the marriage.

I wish it is the case. If not already I hope makers and CVs read this and can now follow it to repair the damage done to the story and show.

Not showing ms and sindoor rituals for whatever reason is an advantage to them. Use it now without being stubborn.
