Wishing for a boy or a girl is not wrong but when couples go for sex selection procedures , go for abortions or ivf treatment to increase the chances of boy , this is what I consider as wrong , but they say they are being practical. It's quite a paradox for the old gen specially ones like suhasini dadi who claims to do so much of pooja paath and follow rituals as if she can establish a direct connection to god through this ...And then she doesn't respect gods wish ..Humans don't have a control over the gender of the baby , why this nonsense of doing pooja to change the sex ?

, when you don't have a control o n the birth procedure , why wish also? Why not wish for a healthy baby ?

What I can't understand is that Dadi said she wants a boy and a boy only for securing the future generation. She also said if she can find out what the gender is she would do some pooka and something which could change the sex of the baby. This is what is wrong. How can she do it or have the CV's lost the plot.
