OK. I agree that he was wrong when he uttered such words in presence of everyone(unjustified it is, even in solitude),
AND he then turned into a completely dumbstruck loser when he tried to justify his behaviour the next day in the kitchen.

But talking of split personalities, I guess, after a time in life, everybody transforms into such a dual mode. People start working & acting as per their convinience even with the most closest of the persons around them.

Terming it as chauvinist is just as much an exaggeration as it is being a feminist. It is an irrational behaviour, unjustified, wrong and condemnable to the highest degree, from whoever it comes; a male or a female...

I also take exception to people here evolving a self discovered formula of defining & generalising what they connote "an ordinary INDIAN MAN".. Thats so funny to read. Such great insight on their part that they have studied the entire class called "ordinary Indian men"!!!😲😲

Thirdly, the idea is not that what is wrong can be justified or not (coz most people reading this would love to believe that I'm trying to justify his attitutde), but the actual point is whether or not a person realizes his/her mistake & takes steps to correct them or not repeat them, and that is what determines in sum, if he/she was right or wrong.
AND on this occasion, I can authoritatively say that N failed on this count miserably!!!!

And besides, everyone is imperfect & at the same time everyone, very assertively, expect the people close to them to be upto their respective best mark & perfect.
IT IS A HUMAN TENDENCY. In some way or the other everybody has double standards (may be in varying degrees). This is irrespective of man or women. And those who say that its not so, know deep down that they're not facing reality. But as I said, the main issue is actual acknowledgement of the mistakes in the end, which unfortunately didn't happen here.

In the end, going by the heading of the topic & some of the comments in the ensuing posts, I thank god that neither the dialogue writers nor cvs are not from amongst us, nahin to agar heading ke hisab se YR me hone laga (ya even real life me hone laga) to YR agle 4 saal to kya 4 mahine bhi nahin chalega.😛😛😆😆

I just hope that N gets his head back in his empty skull & stop being a loser.

all in this context has been very well put in the earlier post...so i would post my view on the whole track which led to this.i strongly feel akshara is to be blamed to some extent for creating differences in their relationship.for example i was really pissed off at her day before yesterday when she stopped naitik from lying down.come on your husband is hurt,in pain n you care about the bedsheet🤢.n even after that she didn't apologise,she said"main bedsheet lagana shuru kar chuki thi".

and naitik...though everytime he can come n say sorry which i now feel is just to finish up the matter rather than accepting fault, why for once he doesn't come n talk it out with akshara calmly n try to undetstand her side.and yes he needs to know that you sort out issues to not let them happen again.you are supposed to bury the hatchet n not supposed to create a bigger issue.😡

and yes he needs to understand that he is equally responsible for naksh.he can't blame akshara alone for any of his actions.

i think this is the next track...naksh feeling ignored due to his parents working.n i am waiting for the track.they both need to learn to balance kids with their work.😛

@bold. That is exactly what I meant. Absolutely right. It happens with everybody irrespective of being a wife or a husband. With time people forget their priorities & Bedsheets, watersupply, preparation of food on one hand, & files, bills, savings, investments, meetings on the other become more important than HUMAN BEINGS.

@blue. The onus is not just on Ak but on N too. As they both led the communication gap to develop & even nurtured it.
BALANCE, as you pointed out is the key, that'll come from both sides & not one.
