As caring and concerned as she may be for her family and esp, Duggu, she has major controlling issues. She is arrogant enough to think that only she knows whats the best for everyone and gives herself permission to speak down to Akshara. She uses her so called position of authority to give unsolicited advice to everyone including RJ.I hate the way she dominates Akshara and treats her like an idiot, which we all know Akshara isn't. You can see that Naitik has also adopted some of that character which is selfish because it does not consider another person's feelings and rights. Yes Gayatri has an outrageous sense of entitlement.
To demand obedience and servitude all the time, is a sign of insecurity too.
In complete contrast, you can see how much respect, support and affection is given to Shauraya's wife. RJ is a dream mother in law!! If only all MIL's can be like her, then seriously , that would be just heaven.
