She knows the full depths of her daughters problems - shes fully aware of the batwara and the reasons behind it YET shes asking Akshara to stop the tilaak.

Agreed she feels morally obliged to say something about the boy ..no problem with that but surely expecting Akshara to step in and close down the whole show isnt the answer !!
Why can they not let the tilak happen -(not like anyone invited or consulted them anyway) and then afterwards air their concerns to the elders directly -NOT via Akshara !
Is she mad to drag her daughter into more things to deal with than she already has to deal with?
To call all those people and then cancel the tilak is not any different from breaking the rishata afterward IF a just cause is discovered.
Knowing how dadaji etc are does she really think Akshara will say so and the tilaak wont happen?.What utter ludicrousness ./
