Part 14

Naitik enters the room to see Akshara crying and she looks up at him and asks: "Am I your wife?" Naitik, for a moment stands there frozen and shocked at the same time, unable to reply anything to her. Akshara, again looks down and weeps. They remain in the same position for a couple of minutes while the sad version of "jaadoo yeh kya chal gaya" plays in the background.
Suddenly the nurse enters the room for an injection and Naitik quickly moves out of the room because he could not see Akshara in pain. Later, when the nurse leaves, he re-enters the room to see Akshara standing in front of the cupboard mirror. She looks at her forehead and sees some stains of sindoor, her hand shivers as she tries to touch it. Naitik comes and touches her shoulder from behind. Akshara turns around shocked and moves away from him. She goes and sits on the bed. Naitik follows her and sits next to her. He asks her how she feels. Akshara remains quiet. He moves forward to kiss her cheeks, but she moves away asking what he is doing. Naitik says: "Akshara, you are my wife……..This is the truth. We have been married for seven months and you had this tumor because of which you had to undergo a surgery. That is the reason why you are here and when you finally woke up from your long sleep, after the surgery, you had forgotten everything-me, our relationship, our marriage, and the worst of it, our love too……….." Naitik has tears when he explains everything to her.
Akshara looks at him and says:" I still don't remember anything……………." He looks at her helplessly and asks: " How can you forget me, Akshara-ME!YOUR NAITIK…..with whom you took the seven oaths to live together happily, with whom you had shared some of the most memorable moments of our life, with whom you built up so many dreams-about our love, about our life……..How can you forget me?" He holds her tightly and asks her to look into his eyes. She does so and Naitik asks: "Can't you see my love for you? Please don't forget me, Akshara, I love you! I don't want to lose yoy, at any cost. You mean everything in the world to me." He says this and moves forward to hug her. She quickly moves away from him and tells him that she doesn't remember anything. He looks helplessly at her and quickly gets up and moves out of the room. Akshara sits there unable to believe what he has just said, while the jaadoo yeh kya chal gaya(sad tune) plays in the background…………..

God the desperation for her to remember him. Beautifully written the emotions of Naitik. Plzzz get back her memory soon. Can't see Naitik in pain.

Part 15

Akshara sits there unable to believe what he has just said. She tries to recollect everything but is unable to; also it gave her a bad headache. Akshara lies down and soon slips off into a nap. Meanwhile, Naitik reaches his house and goes off into his room. He sits on the bed and suddenly comes across their wedding photo. He takes the photo and a tear drop falls on Akshara's face in the photo. Gayathri comes to his room to ask him something, but sees him staring at the photo and Gayathri decides to leave him alone for sometime. Naitik opens the drawer and finds more of their photos, and takes the one that they had taken during their honeymoon-it had the shape of a book, which had the photo on one side and a saying which goes like "Naitik and Akshara in love" on the other, when opened. He lays down holding the photo close to him and soon dozes off.
He is woken up by a call from doctor. He asks Naitik to come immediately to the hospital. Naitik gets worried and soon rushes off to the hospital. He literally runs to Akshara's room to find her sleeping peacefully. He goes to the doctor's room and the doctor says that he can take Akshara home now. Naitik gets really happy and hopes that she would remember everything once she goes back to their house. He soon finishes all the formalities and goes to Akshara's room to find her mother, father and Shaurya sitting next to her. He tells them that he is taking Akshara home today and Akshara gets worried and looks at Rajshri who tells her that she has to go with Naitik and that his house is hers also. Naitik takes Akshara home and on the way he puts the song "mere haath mein", which used to be her favorite so that she would recollect something regarding her past. But she doesn't seem to recognize anything and they reach the house. They are welcomed by everyone and Akshara looks around in utter surprise as she enters the house. Naitik takes her to their room and makes her sit on the bed. She looks around to find their photos everywhere. She looks at Naitik helplessly. When she turns she finds their honeymoon photo which says "Naitik and Akshara in love" and also their wedding photo. Naitik comes and sits next to her, points at her photo and says : "My wife, Akshara. See how beautiful she was". Suddenly he looks at her and strokes her hair and says : "She is still very beautiful…..The only girl in my life, the only girl with whom I fell in love, the only girl who stole my heart, the only girl who understands me and my feelings………my wife Akshara." Akshara sits there stunned, listening to him and says : "Naitik, I'm sorry, I realize how much you love me………..But I'm helpless…..I'm sorry, please give me some time." Naitik holds her hand and says : "OK. From now on, all my time is yours. And by the way, we can become friends first………Akshara used to be my best friend, after marriage. So, what say mujhse dosthi karogi?"
Akshara smiles at him and says : "Yes." Naitik turns himself into a lighter mood and says : "There is something that you should know as a friend." Akshara asks him what when he replies that it is his birthday today and that everyone has forgotten about it. Akshara suddenly smiles and wishes him and asks him what he wants. Naitik replies : "Nothing, just give me my Akshara back………that's it. Nothing else." He suddenly moves forward and kisses her on the cheek and goes out of the room. Akshara again sits her shocked,touching the moist imprint of his lips on her cheek……………………
