He froze. He was sure that she has seen the photo and was thinking about an excuse to tell her, if she asks about the photo. He calls her from behind and she turns. She asks him about the photo. Naitik came near to a cardiac arrest. He didn't know what to tell her. Suddenly a nurse comes and interrupts their conversation. She asks Naitik to go out of the room so that she can change Akshara's dress. Akshara gives him the wallet back with a sweet smile. He smiles back at her and moves out of the room. The nurse locks the door and asks her to sit on the bed. Akshara sits on the bed and the nurse initiates a conversation between them. Akshara asks her about her work and how she feels like going back home and all that. The nurse repiles: "But what is the need of going back home when your entire family is here with you, Mrs.Singhania?"
Akshara suddenly pauses for a while and asks her what she had just called her. She replies: "Mrs.Singhania. Why, isn't that your name-Mrs.Akshara Singhania? Akshara sits there unable to believe what she has just heard. The nurse continues and tells her how tensed her husband was during the course of the surgery and how he was pacing up and down in front of the theatre and asking everyone who comes out how she was. Akshara still sat there silent and on seeing this, the nurse came to her and said that she was lucky to have a caring husband like Mr.Singhania. She opened the door and said to Naitik who was standing outside: "Mr.Singhania, now you are free to meet your wife." Akshara overhears this and tears roll down her cheek.
Naitik enters the room to see Akshara crying and she looks up at him and asks: "Am I your wife?"
