Star-gazing, anyone?

The youth factor seems to be riding high these days. The party held to celebrate the Star Parivaar Awards 2009 proved just that. The older faces were replaced by new ones and the new generation ensured that the energy levels kept riding high through the night. The only thing that remained unchanged was the 'we are family' syndrome. We saw most actors spending time with co-actors from their serials. But some looked upon it as an opportunity to party hard. Shaleen Bhanot and girlfriend Daljeet Kaur set the dance floor on fire with some mean moves. The pretty Shivshakti Sachdev preferred to spend some quality time with her family. Kunal Kumar spent most of the evening chatting with his friends. Karan Mehra, better known as Naitik of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, complained that he needed to get some sleep as he had been shuttling between rehearsal halls and the sets the past few weeks. However, he didn't seem to be in a hurry to leave.
Hina Khan headed straight for the food table and mingled with friends only after having her full. Sara Khan didn't stay for too long at the party. And just because the young ones stepped out to party, that didn't leave the senior lot heading home. We spotted Alok Nath having a great time with his buddies from the telly world. Avinash Wadhavan and Pankaj Dheer spent a considerable amount of time in each other's company.
Others present included Kinshuk Mahajan, Parul Chauhan, Angad Hasija, Kanwaljeet Singh, Shahbaaz Khan, Nigaar Khan, Swati Chitnis, Harshad Chopda, Kapil Nirmal, Aditi Gupta, Anjali Abrol, Uday Shankar, CEO, Star India Pvt Ltd and Keertan Adhyanthaya, GM and EVP, Programming, Star Plus. There was a sprinkling of Bollywood too ' the dashing Arjun Rampal who took to the stage for a little bhangra jig, and ace choreographer Farah Khan. Now that's why the sky was so 'star'ry on Sunday night! FLIRT MIRTH? At the after-party, we noticed Karan Mehra paying a little extra attention to a particular lady dressed in green. However, she seemed to be ignoring his gestures and in fact, seemed a little miffed for some reason too. Now we definitely want to know what's cooking here!

^ Nisha Rawal , the girl who both Karan and Nisha say is his "best friend" , she was there at the party , and if I'm not wrong , she was dressed in a green salwar kameez .
