Yes their love is a SIN because Abhir is married to Kiara but still there is a LOVE between them.

You can take this as my interpretation too just like how you have interpreted Charu doesn't love Abhir.

Both are equally at fault and no one's fault is bigger and no one's fault is smaller. Both the characters are maha dumb and idiots who took worst decision of their lives on their wedding day. Charu dumped Abhir in the last minute after getting blackmailed by her father and Abhir in his anger and impulsiveness marries his delusional fangirl Kiara.

Charu blamed Abhir for not waiting for her but the way she left Abhir got no hope that she'll come back in his life. Of course that doesn't mean he should have married Kiara but I don't think Charu ever apologized to Abhir for dumping him on their wedding day. Instead Abhir had to apologize to her for 'misunderstanding' her when his anger towards her was totally justified.

Abhir doesn't love Kiara. He wants to go back to Charu again so the first thing he should have done is convince Kiara for the divorce instead of cheating on her with Charu. Charu is also wrong by backstabbing her sister with whom she spent her entire childhood. Kiara is going to be heartbroken and hurt by both of them.
