Yes they said yes after meeting twice but then no matter how many times the boy and girl meet, they get to know each other COMPLETeLY only after getting married...and abt all these problems, it's not Akshara and Naitik's fault, the fault lies with both the families....Akshara's family was trying to hide that akshara likes movies, they lied to them about her cooking..and Naitik's family (daddaji) didn't make it clear that they have such and such rules for their daughter in law so only if they have no objection, they must consider this proposal...but all this never happened that's why these problems r occuring.....vaise in the serial it's common bec. Akshara's friends were saying many people do it....Also, Rajshri had some idea tht Akshara's in laws might have an objection to it...Akshara's parents know everything but they are scared to talk to Naitk's family about the smallest issue...They wanna give Akshara the freedom to study but at the same time, they don't want "ladke wale" to get naaraaz...
