I know... I agree too. Personally I'd love to see the ending with Sidhant and Prabhakar resolving their issues. If they kill him off this early it will be so sad.

I wish the same! Honestly I don't even watch this show for just SidKa, I watch it for Prabhakar and Sid too. I was hoping the relationship betweeen them would get better man. Mujhe kya pata tha relationship Khatam hi hojayega? 😕 I've even messaged Sony and all but I know it's hopeless :(

EXACTLY!Plus can you imagine the kind of guilt Sidhant will live with for the rest of his life? Knowing he wasn't even on proper talking terms with his father when he died? ðŸ˜There is so much Prabhakar can still do for Sidhant, Sidushka and the Reddy's. There is so much scope, I just cannot wrap my head around why they'd kill him off? Gravely injure him, heck even put him in a coma, but kill off? Doesn't make sense to me :(

I totally agree that it's heartbreaking to think of Prabhakar's death; I absolutely love the character! But I also see how it could work really well for the story long term. Prabhakar is the quiet behind-the-scenes person who brings equilibrium to all his relationships, and maintains the status quo. If he dies, so does that equilibrium, and that is when the real momentum of the story could start. So far, they have just been setting the stage.
For example, in theory, Prabhakar knows that Siddhant has to fall before he learns to tread more carefully -- he said as much to Anushka in yesterday's episode -- but the fearful, protective parent in him can't help but hold Siddhant back from falling in the first place. This may actually be doing more harm than good because it's creating resentment in Siddhant. When Prabhakar's genuinely not there to stop his son, Siddhant might finally be able to spread his wings, and learn his lessons the hard way.But most of all, I think it's only Prabhakar's absence that can force Anushka to rise to the occasion and take his place as a sahara, both in Siddhant's life and in KK's. Right now, I see her as being in more of a supporting role, and that seems in character. She's happy to do her work, and be supportive of her loved ones. There needs to be a crisis for her to really come out of her shell and take on a more significant role. Based on their latest converstaions, she would also hold the key to Siddhant making peace with his dad's memory. So at the risk of having something thrown at me, I say Prabhakar's death, if handled well could work as that important external force that breaks the current inertia.

That's true. I was feeling the same thing about Anushka's character. That she didn't really have a role. It was only today's episode that I can see her purpose. But I also feel like they could accomplish something similar in a less permanent way.
