No matter what I still don't want to see him go forever!
I don't even want him in coma or missing!

He is a fantastic actor, so is his wife in the serial. He is indeed playing a determining role. I honestly don't see why he should be bumped off!

Even though I ship Sidhant, I have started watching it unwittingly mainly for Prabhakar scenes, especially with Sidhant, his wife, Anushka and KK!!!

Sad to see the best actor in the show die. It just doesn't make sense to me because the serial without Prabhakar will be missing a very very very big presence! So many characters' evolution is dependent on him!, in fact everyone's!! He has an influence on how each one of the main and side characters grow in this serial be it Sidhant, the wife, the daughter, KK, Anushka but also the entire KK clan!!!

For me at least something really important to me personally will also die.

They should seriously do a rethink and reshoot sequences if need be.

I do hope they are reading all this.

Prabhakar is the quiet behind-the-scenes person who brings equilibrium to all his relationships, and maintains the status quo. If he dies, so does that equilibrium, and that is when the real momentum of the story could start. So far, they have just been setting the stage.

For example, in theory, Prabhakar knows that Siddhant has to fall before he learns to tread more carefully -- he said as much to Anushka in yesterday's episode -- but the fearful, protective parent in him can't help but hold Siddhant back from falling in the first place. This may actually be doing more harm than good because it's creating resentment in Siddhant. When Prabhakar's genuinely not there to stop his son, Siddhant might finally be able to spread his wings, and learn his lessons the hard way.

But most of all, I think it's only Prabhakar's absence that can force Anushka to rise to the occasion and take his place as a sahara, both in Siddhant's life and in KK's. Right now, I see her as being in more of a supporting role, and that seems in character. She's happy to do her work, and be supportive of her loved ones. There needs to be a crisis for her to really come out of her shell and take on a more significant role. Based on their latest converstaions, she would also hold the key to Siddhant making peace with his dad's memory.

So at the risk of having something thrown at me, I say Prabhakar's death, if handled well could work as that important external force that breaks the current inertia.

That's true. I don't deny the story ahead of him would have merit, guess I am speaking from a more emotional place as I have grown very attached to the character and how his relationship with his son could develop throughout the show. You're spot on about the equilibrium/momentum disruption aspect tho! I didn't think of it that way!

Love the rest of what you've written, I've nothing else to add. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! And I am definitely in agreement that Anushka's role has been of a supportive one so far, rather than at the forefront. This event would change that big time, as hinted by the conversation between Prabhakar and Anushka today. Which I loved so much! Made me wish to see Anushka as Sinhas' bahu but Prabhakar won't be around for that either :(

Haha with logic like that don't think anyone's gonna throw stones at you! 😆

I know! As others have pointed out the story could go an interesting way post his death 😭 but I just don't want it. My heart won't be able to take it. He, Mrs. Sinha and Siddhant are my favorite characters on the show.

That's what I mean too, he is like a focal point of so many sub-plots, so many relationships in the show.

I think it is already done tbh. There was a selfie of the actors who play Srikant and Sweetyji and they were wearing all white like what is worn during funerals I am assuming the worst I know but going by all the hints we have gotten it only leads me to believe one thing.

I also agree but I also trust the story writers. If they are ending his character so soon, there must be a reason for that.
In another note Mr. Arora is into playing short roles or what? I watched him in Raees in a very short role. He was in Dangal too as Aamir's brother but for like 3/4 scenes and now here. This is his longest role that I watched.

I trust the writers too but am too emotionally attached to Prabkhar's character I guess, so I'm being subjective about this whole issue lol :(

Wow I didn't even know he was in those movies, and I've watched both. Well I guess if an early exit is on the cards, it certainly fits the pattern of the rest of his roles.

I just caught up with the episodes... and Oh My God i can't watch Prabhakar die.
He's such a beautifully crafted character... his relationship with his wife is so beautiful and felt so real you know...?
More than the leads the Sinha family made me watch the show... I saw voh Litti vala scene in passing on TV and then binge watched all the episodes.

I want to see Siddhant-Prabhakar resolve their issues...Siddhant cares so much about his Dad but doesn't show it. He will be devastated and so much in guilt.
Why do the good characters always have to die...?😭😭

Agree! Please don't kill him off CVS! He is the only cupid which can bring Sidhant and Anushka closer and not only that, I love his ideologies, his love for his family, his mindset. It would be such a disappointment if he dies..
We are already on the edge of our seats, don't make us fall now

Of course he is dying, the pages of the manuscript (20 yrs of Reddy) which he were licking while turning (common habit of many older people) were poisoned.

Omg same! This is like the first hindi show I watch NOT just for the leads. I love the Sinhas', especially Prabhakar and and Mrs. Sinha. Imagine how she'll feel if she loses him 💔😭

Tbh as of now, I am actually more interested in the relationship development of Sidhant and Prabakar then Sidushka. So I completely get what you mean!

ADD ME to this as well !! I was more intrigued by Prabhakar and KK, in the first episode where KK refuses to work with Goel as he insulted Prabhakar .. in this show, it's not just the leads the other non lead characters are also, so well crafted and each role is so justified and rationale ...kudos to writers ... Prabhakar - KK along with Sid Anu are my favs .. i do love other characters as well .. this show is a gamut of emotions and characters ⭐️
love Prabhakar's bond with each of Mrs.Prabhakar, Sid, Anu and KK is beautiful , so much depth

coming to the topic, I can't take his death, it will be heartbreaking and devastating on many levels , Sid will be shattered , the harsh words he said to his dad will haunt him forever .. mann this will be tough to take ... Mrs Sinha's world revolves around Mr.Sinha and her kids, she will be devastated ... can't they not avoid this ...

but in a philosophy they say, har anth ka ek nayi shuruwat hoti hain .. may be there will be new start ,.. what Mr.Sinha couldn't explain to Sid when he was alive, Sid might understand after he's gone and I agree with all of those who say , that his death will only move forward the story in a better way .. so far whatever we have seen , the writing team is doing great, hope they do handle it the same or even with greater detailing and precision ... Never felt so much for a fictional character , that too non-lead character ... :/

I think I started getting the ominous vibes when he failed to figure out who the traitor was after they lost the airline deal, that somehow Siddhant would end up stepping into his shoes.
And now I'm on the forum and I read all these posts and articles about his death! 😭

Either way, I am keeping my faith in the CVs strong and hope they write a hell of a story following his departure so that it won't be in vain.

My two favorite scenes featuring Prabhakar are where he cooks for his family and when he gives Siddhant the poetry book with Pash's work. For me that was a handing down of philosophy and ideals to the next generation.

Now that I think about it, Siddhant promised to take everyone to their hometown/village. I am starting to wonder if that will happen after all, except it will be to perform Prabhakar's last rites. 😲

The script was written in advance and Anurag knew his role would be short-lived and impactful. With all the ominous signs and his convo with Anu, he would die in peace. I would like to know if Sid suspects the cause of his death or do they just take it as natural...
