I found the the end of the episode interesting, particularly Prabhakar. To begin width, he was reading the Bhagwad Gita and introspecting... analyzing what went on through the day including Kartik's words... wondering if he chose the right path. He belongs to old school of thought... does that work in this day and age?

This seems to have resulted in him deciding to take the next day off. I am confused out the maali seenche sau ghara, ritu aaye phal hoye. Was it about him or Sid? Then the car thing, and Khurana's reminding Sid about his words comparing him with his father. Prabhakar has put in hard work to reach where he is. His son uses shortcuts and bends rules. Apparently materialistically, they are at the same level.

Thoughts?

Ri,

Actually that Doha can be applied to both...I felt
In Sid's case... it can mean...his eagerness to see results for his work...in his assumption that a path that was trodden by his father should yield a specific result for him or his father.
At the same time, since the Doha was completed by Sid, it holds a lesson for Prabhakar too... that he would have to wait for the ripe time for Sid to walk on the path that Prabhakar hopes he will..

Will come back in a while to post more

Thanks, Ri. I think we can continue this as a discussion thread, since it is still alive.
Lovely point you brought up. 👏 It is a beauty.
I agree with Rekha.
It can be applied to both.

Prabhakar was looking to Gita for answers. He was troubled over the disappointment he had caused. He wanted to know if it was time for him to quit with this one failure...

The doha was perfect. Some plants take time to bear fruit, no matter how hard the gardener works. Prabhakar has worked hard, but he knows he shouldn't wait for immediate results. He meant it in terms of his work problem, since the Gita also tells one to work without looking at the result.

Strangely, Prabhakar was talking about another plant- his life's work..his son. He has tried hard to drill certain values into Sid, but the time has not come yet. There will probably come a time when the plant has bloomed and Prabhakar will notice his efforts with Sid has borne fruit too.

Or it could be when the plant bears fruits (or flowers- it seemed to have flowers already), Sid will remember this doha and know his time has come too, as his dad predicted.
I don't know if they will include the plant in any future track- it would be beautiful. Many times people plant trees when a child is born.

About him taking the day off...I guess he still wants to meditate and get the positive energy before he returns to work...

The car came honking- their current reality. The boy prefers his dad's luxuries over the simple values he has tried to instil in him...for now.
