Is it really Amans fault?

Okay I've reached upto episode 37 catching up.

Roshni tends to have a habit of brushing things away. She herself allows to have misunderstandings to be created.

Aman wanted to give it a go with Roshni and despite the love hate relationship he does show a lot of consideration for her. Even he tried to explain about the monthly arrangement but Roshni didn't want to hear about it.

This is a repeated problem between them. The guy turns his head round and keeps seeing new problems aroumd Roshni that make her look bad. She doesn't help her case either. But even still I think he does care a lot for her that's why he's insulting.

I maybe giving him the benefit of the doubt as I have not seen the Aliya track.

There is a world of difference between that aman and the current one 🥱

If not Aman's then is it Roshni's fault ?

Is it her fault if he is not trusting her enough to avoid misunderstandings ?!

Between she tried to explain herself and tried to prove herself when he is telling her leave his house for the second time too.. she was not able to prove and then she was fed up or she could have understand that she can't keep on prove herself so she gave up. Now she is not trying much. Not trying at all. Moreover she needs him to prove himself that he trusts her and will not misunderstood ever again , if at all she has to accept him back. So let her brush away things and not care anymore to explain. And if he cares her so much then he has to trust her not insulting. Misunderstanding and then insulting is not love.

In the begining she was not needed to explain herself as they were not in a relationship. So whatever he is thinking of her are all his opinions. He was not criticized much for his misunderstandings in the begining but only was criticized for his idealogy of Salma kind of woman and families are low class and all.. even then I tried to see from his side that he was having a child hood where he was being taught other woman at fault.

But today after all these things happened and his realizations and his redemption he is back to square one talking about class and all..

Let’s analyse their relationship from the beginning.

Their first meeting was a complete disaster. Roshni was being a prat and Aman responded with excessive force. Sane people do not total another person’s car because they bumped into them. This is a tv show moreover a magical one, so let’s call that creative liberty for arguments sake.

Aman discovers Roshni is Ayaana. Ayana by description has the heart of an angel. Bare in mind that Roshni does not know Aman or his family beyond her short interactions with him. So why on earth would she come to his aid , when he calls her for his mother? She does not know she is Ayaana, she has no clue of the fact. Aman found out her mother is a courtesan and saw her dancing, so he naturally assumed she is a courtesan? But where does that give him the right to abuse her character. He expects her to help his mother and then goes on to abuse her. She has never to his face asked for money or spoken like she wants to benefit from him. Aman is making judgements about her nature and abusing her based on his and his mother’s assumptions.

Lack of communication between leads is the usp of most ITV shows and here it is no different. Even then, Roshni has no reason to open up to Aman or trust him about matters. He uses her when needed and discards her afterwards. No one in their right mind would keep anything beyond a formal relationship with such a person.

So yes, for me, mistakes have been more on Aman’s part than Roshni’s.

I agree with this. Roshni ne shuru se hi apni image childish bana rakhi hai ki uspe trust karna mushkil hai. As an audience i myself dont trust Roshni. Roshni talks unnecessary things from beginning only too childish. Aman ki bhi perspective waise hi ho gayi uske liye. Aman loves her a lot but wo uspe trust nahi kar pata because of her attitude and behaviour. I agree wo sunata shayad isiliye hai kyunki uski care bhi karta hai. Roshni is the most childish ITV female lead i have come across.

Roshni is immature but that does not excuse Aman’s repeated mud slinging at her. Roshni by her multiple actions have shown Aman that she can go beyond limits for people she love and even without much love - prime example being Parveen. From day 1 Parveen has insulted Roshni and still Roshni has helped her.

The solution to correcting someone’s immaturity is not insulting them. Sit them down and talk. At least that’s what a normal person would do.
