Ahana Preesha scene was not just for Preesha's confidence...it is for Preesha to defend herself in the same tone/rationale that she defends Rudraksh.
Mainly for Rudra to again see rationally/logically that Preesha's logic, confidence, rationale....her truth & heart are and always have been on point.
When she says Rudra can never do something like this & I believe him (when acc. to Rudra she has no reason to defend him now) & in the same breathe defends herself, not only against the charges of MM's death (which in the overall show arc doesn't matter much) but also against Rajeev's murder charge (which is biggest issue in the show), she's building or re-building (however you look at it) her image/truth/character.
For majority of the episode, Pree was verbalising whatever Rudra wanted to say (wrt MMM) but was too shocked to say.
Now, Rudra can't believe one and not the other, which is what will be further developed, I think. ❓
