PART-3

Recap-Naina reached her room locked the door and stood with her back taking support from the door. Yes, She was smiling for reason unknown to her. May be Sameer's goodness was more powerful than the harshness of this world.

Naina closed her eyes and murmured Thank You Sameer. Then she immediately ran to her balcony to see Sameer. Sameer was going back home, Naina wanted him to turn and acknowledge her presence. Naina was dazed, she had no clue of what she was doing and why. Her emotions were a puzzle to her. She was waving her hand to Sameer and began humming:

Jo dil ke ujale mein na mila

Dil dhunde aise sapne ko

Is raat ki jagmag mein dubi

Maina dhund rahi hun apne ko

Ye raat bhigi bhigi...

God always fulfills the wishes of his innocent souls. Sameer turned and Naina was overjoyes seeing him Her lps stretched to a huge smile and Naina's smile assured Sameer and filled his heart with elation which reflected on his lips. He waved her good bye and walked away. Naina waved him back and was glued there for God knows how long. She was jolted out of her reverie by a call from her darling sister.

Naina-pata hai preeti aaj kya hua?

Preeti: haan maine tere piche drone jo lga rkha h. acha ye bta ki tune aaj call kyu nhi kiya

Naina: Wahi to bta rhi hun na.. sun aaj na mujhe 2 gunde chhed rhe the main na bahot jada ghabra gyi thi. Almost meri jaan nikal gyi thi us waqt.

Preeti immediately disconnected the voice call and did a video call. She was furious on hearing that

Preeti- Tu Pagal hai kya Naina. Itna sab ho gya aur tune btaya bhi nahi. Tujhe kuch ho jata to. Un awara ladko ki to jaan le lungi main. Kal main waha aa rhi hun . unhe dhund kar unhe sabak nahi sikhaya to mera bhi naam Preeti nahi

(Preeti was all furious😡 but she noticed that Naina was not at all stressed and instead she was smiling)

Tu pagal ho gayi hai kya Naina? Un logo ne tere sar pe kisi chij se prahar kiya tha kya? Itna sab ho gya aur tu muskura rahi hai. (Then there was a pause) Ooo ab samjhi lgta h Mr Sameer angel aa gya thaw aha tujhe bachane..

Naina: Smilingly said yes.😳

Preeti: Sameer na sach mein bahot acha ladka hai. Bhagwan uski saari ichha puri kare. Thank you soo much Sameer for saving my only pagil behen. Lekin Naina tu sach mein thik to hai na. Unlogo ne kuch kiya to nahi na tere sath.

Naina: Haan main bilkul thik hun

Preeti: Haan wo to dikh raha hai. Tu ab meri baat sun. Tu ja rahi hai Uttarkashi and this is final. Aur abto Sameer bhi ayega dekhna

Naina: Pata nahi yaar wo ayega ki nahi.🤢

Preeti: Sun wo aaye ya na aaye tu jayegi. Tujhe kabhi bhi mauka nahi mila khud k liye kuch krne ka Tu kabhi school trips pe bhi nahi jati thi. Lekin is bar tu jayegi sirf apne liye. Hamein khush hone k liye kisi ki jarurat nahi hai. You love nature right. Tujhe koi na mile baat karne ko to mother nature se apne dil ki baatein karna. Tu waha kisi k bare mein mat sochna bas ye jaanne ki koshish arna ki tujhe kis baat se khushi milti hai aur tu kya chahti hai ab apne life se. It can be a tour to self-discovery. Please do not let it go for few stupid people. Your happiness depends on you do not wreck it for others. Aur dekhna Sameer bhi jayega. Waha tum dono ache dost ban sakte ho. You will get a friend for a lifetime or may be a partner for your soul.

Naina was blushing on the last line

Naina: OK meri maa samajh gayi main ja rahi hun Uttarkashi.

Preeti: Very good Naina. Ab to main sach mein kal aa rahi hun teri shopping karane Nahi to pata nhi tu kaise kaise color aur design ke jhole aur sacks kharidegi

Naina is a mechanical engineer and works in steel industry so her dresses never impress Preeti. In addition Naina has never been a girl who does anything to make her look better outwardly. She never believed in painting herself. Let alone kajal or lipstick, even her rubber bands were bought by Preeti. That was the only accessory she used. Yes she did not even wear earrings. She never cared to do so. Other than her studies and job to make her parents proud she had never aspired for anything else in her life. But now unknowingly she was wishing for someone special in her life.

She looked somewhat like this at work:

Preeti lived in ranchi with her parents. ( Ranchi is 3hours drive from Jamshedpur)

Naina: Tu na chup kar. I love the clothes that make me feel comfortable. Now bye. I will talk to you tomorrow.

Sameer reached his home and found his parents awake. As always they were waiting for him. They had developed a practice of having dinner with Sameer which they followed religiously, They knew their solitary son needed them. Their son never shared his pains and worked ceaselessly for the family. Gradually he had taken up all the responsibilities of his dad and shared his dreams and visions for the family. Sameer's uncles were taking him for granted now and Sameer's dad had realized this. His uncles simply had to tell him what they wanted and Sameer did it happily. They loved Sameer but they did not understand Sameer's hardships in fulfilling them.

After washing away the day's wearies Sameer came to the table. Vishaka served him food.

Vishaka- aaj bahot late ho gaye Sameer.

Sameer: Haan maa, wo kal VP sir aa rhe hai to aaj bahot kaam tha aur meri colleague hai Naina wo bhi bahot late ho gayi thi to use ghar tak chhodne gya tha

Vishaka: Ye tune bahot acha kiya. Aajkal jamana thk nhi h. I am proud of you Sameer

Mr Maheshwari( Sameer's Dad) Beta tu ja rha h na Uttarkashi trek pe?

Sameer: Nahi papa main chala gaya to yaha business me bahot loss ho jayega.

Mr Maheshwari: Sameer tu yahan ki fikr mat kar. Hum hain. Tu ja, tu nahi gaya tu mujhe bahot bure lgega. You need a break son. You should go and I hope your Colleague Naina is also going. He smiled slyly.

Sameer: Allright dad I will go.

Naina had disconnected the call because she was still in daze and wanted to rejoice the moments with Sameer. She closed her eyes and went to a flashback. It was 3:00 am at night. She woke up and went to the kitchen to make gazar ka halwa. She wanted to thank him with this sweet dish. When she was done cooking it. She went to take a bath. After bathing and getting fully energetic she took out a few books to study on which she could hardly focus. Naina was preparing for upsc along with her job. It was 7:00am of the morning and she had had no sleep. Now it was time she got ready for work.

Canteen

Sameer was having his lunch when Naina approached him.

Naina: Sameer, Can I sit here?

Sameer: Haan baitho na

Naina: Once again thank you very much Sameer. This is for you. (She offered him the gazar ka halwa)

Sameer: You need not thank me for that. BY the way thank you for the halwa

Naina: Can we be friends? (She extended her hand for a handshake.)

Sameer: I thought we are already friends.

Naina: Haan wo to hai. Then there is a rule for friendship. Dosti mein no sorry no thank you. ( both of them laughed)

Sameer: ye halwa tumne bnaya hai?

Naina: Haan

Sameer: It's yummy,

Naina: It has to be. It has been cooked by the best chef of this world. Don't you agree?

Sameer: Of course.😆

Naina: Sa... Sameer tum aa rhe ho na trek pe

Sameer : haan. Aur tum?

Naina: Haan main to ja hi rahi hun. I will be going to market after the lunch. I have taken half day leave. My sister Preeti is coming to help me with the shopping for uttarkkashi. TUmne kar li shopping? Tum bhi chaloge hamare sath?

Sameer: Sorry I can't. I am pathetic at shopping, My mom does it for me.

Naina: All right

Very nice update.
Loved the way you are building up the plots. Both Naina and Sameer are so cute. Unknowingly their closeness is increasing. Loved the responses of Preethi. Perfect bodyguard for Naina.
