I just loved this dialogue to core... Very few people are able to think this way and do this thing. This might sound not possible to some but I think if both are ready to be friends than being friends again is possible. We have examples of divorced couples being good friends as well. I think, at this point both of them have accepted the fact that now they can't be together as couple... So now either they both part ways with bitterness and don't even be on talking terms with each other or be friends and at least be happy for each other...
