Dearest sur
I am here to compensate for my absence since the last update. Am touched at your gesture, since when you are wallowing in your own sorrows all you seek is some solace and friends like you helped me through my tough times and here I am back yet again. I just hope I stay as a ligament fixture and never again do I have to leave just pray that I never again face the ordeal I did. It was the worst of the nightmares that I lived yet they were made bearable because I had for support friends like you.
Broken, shattered
I could see the pieces scattered around
They hurt like hell
I tried picking them up
Getting back at you
The betrayal
The pain
It's all so unbearable
I tried pushing your thoughts away
Tried every vice
Even cheated on our love
Yet everytime I looked into the mirror
I could see my hollow soul staring back at me
Your love nurtured it
Gave it a new lease of life
My hardened heart learnt to beat
The rhythm of love was no longer alien to me
I started breathing love
I started living you
Yet I remained unaware
I felt an exhilaration like never before
But now I know
It was all a game
A mirage
A dream painted by your deciet
You were never to be mine
You broke me
Shattered me into pieces
Uprooted that very sapling of love, the seeds of which you had sowed in my heart
And now I stand broken
Bereft of emotions
Both my eyes and soul and hollow
Yet still I pine for you
Still my heart thuds at your very mention
Still am waiting for you to run into my arms
Drench me in your love
Make me live again
Make me love again
Make me yours again
But...
So sur I have summed up sameer's feelings for you. He has been through a lot. For a guy who had sworn of relationships naina had been his solace, his only hope, somebody who had pulled him out of abyss and made him live his life, made him believe in love. She brought in a sense of calm into his turbulent life and somewhere after many she seemed like that anchor whom he leaned upon and hence it's a lot for him to take upon when she left him. He seems to be bereft of all emotions except melancholy. His mourning has led him on a path of vengeance wherein he is looking for ways to hurt her to get back at her for her betrayal. And hence the dalliance. He has actually started believing that once he gets back to his old ways then he would be able to shrug naina off from his thoughts. But little does he know that naina is not only in his thoughts, but she is ingrained into him, he is the reason for his survival since she never ceases to leave his thoughts. His heart still yearns her return while his soul still seeks her peace. And finally his patience is rewarded when he sees her after eons. Stunned and perplexed, he is at a loss for words. Somewhere he has the urge to run take her in his arms and never leave her yet he retaliates with his anger. He simpers seeing the signs of marriage. Whatever little hope he harboured that she might not have been married is shattered and he wants to punish her for choosing another man over him by getting harsh. The confrontation between the two just took my breath away. I could only imagine the two soaking in each others presence while perusing each other with their eyes. The confrontation brought to the fore all the ugly wounds that had been camouflaged by time. For naina too it was that moment of reckoning. She was yet again face to face with her past. A past that that made her do things which she had never ever imagined doing. The very past that had made her reckless, that very past which she believed to be love. But today the love is replaced by venom in her eyes yet her mind and her heart are not attuned with each other. She believes that she hates him, that she has outgrown his love yet at the very first instance of laying eyes upon him, her heart skips a beat, she could feel her muscles thrum and her eyes seeked love. Her soul searched for that same man with whom she had fallen in love. Her eyes scanned through his appearance taking in the minutest of changes. I loved it all is all I can say. Naina's past intrigues me. What had actually transpired after that phone call with shefali? Where had she disappeared and whether she is actually married to a different man? Too many riddles! And it is these riddles which make this story such a charmer. Every part is left off as a cliffhanger and it seems you are a subject matter specialist in it. In this current one as well when sameer is seen drowning in his sorrows and naina being pensive while she remnicised her past, all of it is metamorphosed with precision. He is angry because she left him, while she believes he betrayed her, shunned her love and now must be back to his old ways of dalliance. In all of this we have a little one sleeping peacefully. Her presence is riddled. Is she sameer 's? Or is she arvinds the very man whose deep baritone presides over their lives. But who is he? Her husband? Friend? Saviour?
You know sur I was literally holding my breath while reading the update especially when sameer bumped into naina and Met diya by chance. I could only imagine the plethora of emotions that must have crossed sameer 's face, of confusion, of misunderstanding, of pain, of anguish and hate and hence he stormed off in his quest for vengeance. Vengeance and hate led him to simmi and somewhere he wanted to drown out his sorrows and deny his feelings for naina with an act with simmi but alas! Naina led him off the path of vengeance the moment she reentered his life and realization dawned upon him that whatever he was doing was ruining his life further and hence he backtracked in the end bringing himself and simmi back to their senses.
Bravo! For coming up with such complex parts where in so many emotions are involved. You have stunned me and am at a loss for words and the pace of this particular ff is a winner. Am really looking forward to reading more. Hope I did justice.
The beauty of this story lies in its steady stream.
