Naina was completely stressed out and could hardly pay attention to the class. Here she was thinking that she could shock Sameer by telling that her Papa knows and yet she can continue to teach him but he gives her a heart attack by inviting her to his house. Like everyone in her school, even she has always been curious about the Maheshwari residence. Obviously, she would be. She lives in a society and Sameer's house probably was the entire size of her society but all this didn't come in her mind.

It was the fact that it was Sameer, the boy who she has fallen for, the boy who broke her oath to never fall in love within minutes was the one inviting to his home, the possibility of the house being her future house increasing with this invite that made her feel like saying yes but at the same time she knew her family and especially her Taiji and Tauji would never let her go to a boy's house.

And she finally made the decision to say No to Sameer, she knew his anger at her might increase but this was one thing she couldn't do.

Sameer was completely entertained. The Naina who completely concentrated in class seemed to be completely distracted and he could easily guess what was on her mind HIM and HIS Question.

Naina wanted to talk to Sameer during break but Swati and the other girls crowded her asking her doubts regarding maths so she couldn't. So she passed a chit to Sameer asking him to stay in class during lunch.

Sameer read the chit and understood that she had an answer. He tried to guess what it would be seeing her face but he couldn't but he thought it couldn't be anything other than a Yes. He made Mundit leave for cafeteria during lunch and waited for the others in the class to leave.

Naina turned around and started, "Sameer, I know you might probably get angrier but I am sorry I cannot come to your house.

Sameer was stunned that she would say No and was about to ask why when he realized Naina wasn't finished.

Naina continued, "I really want to come but no one in my house will let me go specifically Papa or Taiji

"But, Naina, you need not tell them you are coming to my house; you can just tell that you are going to Swati or someone else's house. Anyway, you are coming to teach me only for nothing else. You yourself said that even your Chachaji is fine with you teaching me...

"Exactly, Sameer; Chachaji trusts me and fought with Papa, his elder brother on my behalf so that I can teach you. So I cannot lie and break his trust to come to your house. I am really sorry but this is something I can never do.

With this, Naina left.

Sameer was astonished. He has never lied or wronged to hurt others but has easily told white lies to protect himself and his friends. He wondered now how many times his lie had hurt or broken the trust his Nanu had in him. Nanu was the one person who always trusted him and cared for him and he promised to himself that he will never break his trust. He probably couldn't be like Naina who never lied but at least this much he could do.

If he didn't know that Naina loved him, he would have misunderstood her even now for saying that she cannot lie. He would have thought her to be a Behenji who always thought she was better than others but now he knew otherwise. His first interaction with Naina came to his mind. He lied to Principal to protect himself but she didn't and couldn't lie even though she probably didn't want to put him in trouble but he blamed her and tried to take revenge on her.

He wanted to apologize for that but he didn't want to break the trust Naina had on him by telling the truth. Instead, he decided to thank her for teaching him not to break other's trust by lying unnecessarily.

He went to the canteen and saw Naina sitting with her friends. He also noticed that she looked upset and realized that she thought he was angry with her. He caught her eye and gestured her to come out. Naina wondered why Sameer was calling her but still got up and went out.

"Naina, I am not angry with you. In fact, I want to thank you for teaching me such an important lesson. I easily tell lies but I have never thought about the effect of it on others and the people who trust me. You were right; we shouldn't break Chachaji's trust. So, today we will stay back in school itself as usual and you can help me finished Sameer with a smile.

Naina was happy to see Sameer understood her and wasn't angry with her anymore.

"Ok but tell me what I should do now for laughing at you. Asked Naina.

Sameer couldn't believe this. The girl who acts so mature for other things becomes like a kid who wants to please him. He couldn't understand how someone could give him this much importance and looking down at her, he just wanted to pull her cheeks in adoration but instead just chuckled lightly and said,

"Naina, I was never angry with you. I just wanted to tease you.

"Oh said Naina with a blush on her face and slowly started walking back into the canteen

But Sameer again called out, "Naina, don't forget; after school in the library, I will be waiting."
