Part 5
"Naina thundered Rakesh, "You are going to meet that Sameer who is competing against Arjun? You are helping him?
"Papa stuttered Naina. "Answer me; you are going to school at this time to help him? Without even telling anyone, aren't you ashamed of yourself yelled out Rakesh.
Hearing the noise, Chachaji and Chachiji rushed towards Taiji's house.
Chachaji asked, "Bhaiya, what happened?
Rakesh took out his anger on them also, "This is all because of you both, she is going to meet some boy in school and you both aren't even aware of it "
Chachiji, "Naina, is this true? Naina started, "Chachaji, Chachiji, I... I am going to meet Sameer only to teach him "
Chachaji understood what was happening and he started explaining to Rakesh, "Bhaiya, I already know that Naina is teaching Sameer. I also know he is Arjun's competitor but there is nothing wrong with her helping him out
Rakesh temper increased, "She is betraying her brother and her family and you are supporting her?
The normally calm Chachaji who doesn't argue back to his elder brothers realized that this time he couldn't keep quiet. He was the one who had encouraged Naina to teach Sameer and if he accepted his brother's decision now that would make him a bad example to Naina. He always believed in living by what he taught to his children and teaching someone can never be wrong.
Chachaji said, "Bhaiya, I was the one who told Naina that she can teach Sameer. Teaching someone is considered to be the best form of charity, also one learns more when they teach someone else. The competition is between Arjun and Sameer; Naina is not interfering or spoiling Arjun's efforts to win then how is this betrayal?
Rakesh retorts, "Her helping Arjun's enemy is a betrayal
Chachaji, "Enemy?? Bhaiya, this is a school competition. They are competing against each other, not enemies.
Chachiji said "But Bhai sab, you are the school librarian; you have to provide books to all the children including this boy. Then, that means you are also helping him correct?
Chachaji gave a look to Chachiji. Rakesh replied "I don't give books specifically to that boy. I can see it's of no use talking to any of you. But, Naina listen, just because you are teaching Sameer doesn't mean he will win. Arjun is my son and he is the No 1 in both studies and sports and he will definitely win. Also, I don't want him to know about his sister's betrayal so you aren't telling him that you are helping Sameer.
With that, Rakesh walked away. Chachaji went towards Naina and said, "Naina, sometimes the decision we make may not be agreed and accepted by everyone and it might even be opposed but always listen to your heart and do the right thing. Like I said earlier, teaching is good and you also promised Sameer so continue teaching him. Naina hugged both Chachaji and Chachiji and thanked them.
Naina went back to her room, in a way she felt relieved that her Papa knew she was teaching Sameer because she didn't have to hide it anymore. And she thanked god that she had such an amazing Chachaji who argued on her behalf, because she could have never done it and would have agreed to stop teaching Sameer in fear of her Papa. In all this, she completely forgot that she was supposed to meet Sameer with which it started in the first place.
Sameer walked into his room followed by Mundit. They had waited for Naina till they closed the school.
Munna said "Sameer, I think Naina didn't want to come. She probably didn't want to help you since you are competing against her brother and instead of telling that directly, that behenji made us wait.
Pandit replied, "Maybe, she realized teaching you is pointless.
Sameer glared at him and said "I understand whatever she teaches and even she knows that. And Munna, on call she told me that she is coming and I don't think Naina will make us wait purposefully.
All three were silent for a while.
Sameer finally said, "Anyway, it's getting late so you both go home and I will try to study for some time.
Mundit said their goodbyes and left but Sameer couldn't concentrate on studying. He kept wondering about Naina. Like he had told Mundit, he knew Naina wouldn't have made him wait without a reason. He wanted to call her and ask her why she didn't come but it was very late and he knew how strict they were in her house. He hated to admit this to himself but he was actually worried and concerned about Naina and hoped all was ok with her.
Guys, please comment. Its really disheartening to not see a single comment. 😭. Even if its not good or you didn't like it , please mention why or provide criticism.
