Episode for me was not bad as I thought would turn out from the precaps.

Shanthi mam and Naina scene was nice. But, still why was it needed ?😕 Naina needed to get some advise from an elder, is that why they made her find out ?😕 All the ones who knew were her age and no one wiser than each other. Shanthi mam as a perfect elder asked her if she didn't think what she did was wrong. Naina knows writing a love letter or loving Sameer was not wrong and she said it without being afraid👏. I really liked what she said. So, when the matter comes out in front of the family Naina's reaction will be very similar I guess as today. Shanthi mam advising her not to take any wrong step in love, was an reinforcement needed ?😕 I wonder in future how this will come out and when Naina will remember this ? It seemed like Shanthi teacher was already foreseeing the difficulties Naina will face in the love story knowing Naina's family. Why didn't Shanthi mam give the letter ?😲 Why keep it for herself ? 😆Add more drama from SS ?

Deepika playing ghar ghar was cute. But, where did she see Sameer's friends smoking ? But, she didn't say Sameer was smoking only his friends. But, evil Daadi will twist as per her wish😡. Poor Deepika already has a timetable and she is allowed to watch cartoons in her room ? 😲 Elementary kid has a TV in her room, where is the discipline ?

Sameer with the Mawali gang was good. It was not as bad as I thought would be. Samer was guilty back then and still feels guilty for his behavior👏 - that he was part of the gang that did the eve teasing. It is a crime to be on the side of the wrong too. He didn't want to smoke, didn't like the teasing of the girls. He refused to smoke, trying to please his new friends he agreed but remembered Naina's words and backed off again. He tried stopping his friends from teasing the girls. When they didn't listen he wanted to be left alone and didn't want any part of it. Whatever said and one Sameer has a very good conscience⭐️. He has had a strong foundation in the form of Nanu's seekh. Yes, he might sway with the wind but his roots are strong that he will not fall permanently. Peer pressure and wanting to fit in, is what got highlighted for me in this scene. He didn't want to be called fattu by his new friends. He erupted when the opposite gang said what if he did the same teasing with his sister/girl. He even scolded his friends that mistake was theirs, apologizing to the other gang. I hope after this Sameer doesn't keep any contact with the Mawali gang. He should not want to see them anymore. But, maybe those guys will say sorry and will befriend him again.

Munna and Pandit fighting was extremely sad to see. Munna getting carried away from hearsay and not believing if his friend would do such a thing. Munna is missing Sameer way too much that he is not thinking at all.. It was nice to see Swati and Preeti trying to resolve the fight. Swati scolded Pandit saying mein isse kuch bhi kahu tumse matlab.. Haaye.. Swati defended Munna today ! 😳

The bet boys taking fun in seeing the two of them fight😡. I wish Naina had given them an earful when she gave them that stare. I am glad Naina realizes how much M and P were missing Sameer. Loved the way she ordered them to shake hands and forget everything but alas they didn't listen to her. Sameer's VO saying, Dil hi dil mein Naina bhi jaanti thi jitna woh mujhe miss kar rahi thi, usse kahi zyada M and P mujhe miss kar rahe the aur mein bhi. The 3 girls worrying about M and P was good. So, Naina is using her topper brain to somehow fix the fight, she does realize that something is not right between SMP. So, is that why the three of them make the trip to Delhi ?

Precap, So evil Daadi adds Sameer smoking😡, puts a cigarette pack in his room 😡and get him in trouble😡. How will Sameer come out of this ? Somani was super mad at the cigarette thing. I hope atleast he thinks and gets him involved in some activity asap or tries to fasten the admission process in school or will he ask Sameer to come to his office ?😛Ok I better stop now and come out of my dreamland wrt Somani😆.

Coming to episode,I felt today the episode can be summed up as ''Breaking of Trusts Part-1".

Sameer in quagmire of trusts of Naina in him and the new gang.

Shanti Ma'am's 'slackening of trust' in Naina.

Visakha's trust in Sameer

And most importantly 'breaking of trust' in Munna and Pandit.

Trust is an issue that every platonic friendship must deal with. Whether dealing with matters of trust is active or passive, its power is still a prevalent and pertinent quality that is mutually understood. Trust is an unwritten rule between friends and is defined as the "firm belief or confidence in the honesty, integrity, reliability, justice, etc of another person.

I am shocked to see the sudden overnight changes between two thick-thin friends who are suffering broken trusts.How Sameer even connected them?They were friends before he arrived even.

Suddenly Munna who was mature in dealing both Sameer and Pandit during Nanaji's case ;how can he get so fickle-minded suddenly.

Its like Munna's characterization is suddenly having down ward graph.

And this way creating Swati -Munna scene is not interesting me.

Now waiting to see how the next 'Breaking of Trusts 'parts will play on.

Loved Naina's dialogue..Copy pasting my comment from Ashu Di's Post-

I too loved the dialogue so much.Thats why Naina for me is not only a strong character but honourable character too..

In love affairs;we mostly engage in 'blame -games'..Many tend to label the other 'partner' as mistake after break ups and all..

But what I feel is that if you love someone then you are not doing anything wrong..If you listen to your heart and mind for every decision be it what to eat,what to study etc etc..then how can this thing be a 'mistake.'.

Loving someone and deciding to spend whole life with him/her is never a mistake.Its perhaps a beautiful thing.

The 'mistake' is falling in love with a wrong person.That should be our biggest fear.And if we are sure that he is the 'right person' then nothing is mistake.

Really loved how she ennobled their relationship and respected it.Respecting each other and respecting the relationship in total needs courage and Naina proved that she is courageous even.

Thanks for the write up.

I am utterly disppointed with this show currently. Useless tracks, scenes, being forced. Too much Kekta influence. Closeness to reality fading...I am taking a break. Will start watching if it improves otherwise ..bye bye...

It is sad that for once the makers were making a good show. But now that the show is a hit, they have become complacent. They should realize this is Sony TV. Trp waise bhi other channels se kum hai. If they take the dedicated viewers for granted, the show will tank in no time.

Instead of showing Sam becoming mawali (probably influenced by Kekta's dad's film mawali), they could have shown Sam going to office with Somani and learning some business just like Nanu had wanted. But they have taken the route of 70 versus 17 duel...well...this is not my cup of tea...I feel sad..because this was one show I felt was watchable in desi sabun world...😕

Wonderful analysis and caps as usual nivi

I liked the scene between shanti mam and naina... Shanti mam is such a wonderful teacher... She made naina understand like a mother... I liked the way naina stood up for her love... I guess in future she'll stand up to her family too... It was so good to see shanti mam completely trusting naina... Naina's vo abt teacher student relationships those days were so apt... Though I didn't get why shanti mam had to keep the letter instead of returning it to naina... May be for the future drama which rakesh is gonna create... So unnecessary.

Daadi was enjoying deepika playing with her friends... Btvwhen she saw deepika acting to smoke, she got alert... So she cant see her own kids doing something like that... Bt wants sameer to go on wrong path... Deepika didn't draw sameer in her pic... Does that mean she still has not accepted sameer as her brother?... Or was it left out so that daadi can add sameer smoking in the picture?

Sameer is very bored and so was falling into the trap of mawaali gang... Daadi sees him sneaking out too... I would've preferred daadi creating a huge drama like taiji does instead of this scheming.

Sameer wanted to fit in the new environment... For that he was kinda pleasing those guys... It was nice to see him remember naina's words and not smoking... Mawaali gang was so irritating... They were provoking him by calling him fattu... The eve teasing part was bad... Sam should have stopped them... He's not that young to not understand the difference between right and wrong.. Just apolozing on behalf of his friends was not enough... . That girl's brother was right in asking whether he'll accept the apology if his own girl or sister was eve teased... Sameer reaction was very apt... I feel this is a hint to future... Someone close to him may get eve teased... As vishaka or deepika getting eve teased is highly unlikely considering their ages, i think it might be naina... Something to do with the future delhi trip of naina and mundit... Even naina's dream in yesterday's epi hinted something.

Munna is the one most badly affected by sameer's seperation... He's behaving just like how naina used to behave... Pandit kinda adjusted to the situation and was normal too.. Munna getting swayed by the bet boys talks was also realistic... He wasn't in the right state of mind... Bt slapping pandit was too much... Even without asking anything he went and slapped him like that... Swapree tried to resolve their fight... Swati siding with munna was cute... I so wish swamun story moves forward.

Naina trying to resolve mundit fight was so good to see... They have done so much for her... Now its her turn... Her dialogues in the scene was also good... She understood that actually mundit dont have any problem between them... Its just that they are not able to cope up with sameer's seperation... I think she's gonna plan something along with swapree to patch them up.

Precap : Daadi as expected started executing her plans... Somani is so mad at sameer about this smoking thing... What will happen if he gets to know about the street fight and eve teasing?... He's gonna bury sam alive. ..i hope this mawaali track ends soon.

Naina and Shaanti teacher scene was really good. It was good see her mildly defending her love for Sameer. But Shaanti teacher also subtly conveyed the harsh challenges ahead for her...👏...But yes I even I fail to understand why did she take away the letter. I guess it is only for Safari suit to do drama in some upcoming episodes and extend the separation track. I don't know, I might sound pessimistic, but nowadays anything/any track happening the show seems more like a gimmick to extend separation and garner TRPs by excess drama rather than showing quality.I still fail to understand what as the need for Sam to fly off to Delhi in a jiffy without visiting Nanu's house. Just to show a remarkable event of 90s (Rajiv Gandhi Death)??? ...What had the audience expected at that time- this might be the ultimate breakdown of Vish, bringing out her past in the open. What did the audience get- Some tears, some Dadi drama, some realization by Sam. That's it!...

Sam's pricking conscience and also getting lured into bad habits was nicely done. His basics are still intact taught by Nanu, but Dadi's vile act tomorrow and distrust of Vish might instigate him to completely surrender to bad habits. Regarding the progression of the track I would paste the same thing I wrote in LU:

One thing was pretty evident and we all expected it to happen that Dadi would take advantage of situations created during the Mawali track...she would not be a mute spectator...basically I fail to understand why is Sam not going to school if Deepika and Rohan are..okay I understand they want to highlight how teenagers are lured into bad habits and all ...but show him going to school when others are...why is he sitting at home ...bad company could have been shown in his new school as well...it's not that rich educated students don't have bad habits and bad influences ...it would have been better if school would have been shown ...Logic!
He would have met some bighdail ladke in school and may be acquired few small bad habits and done..chapter would have closed early with some mini bawaal, story would have moved forward and Teenage problems would have been highlighted ...ek teer se multiple nishaan...
It's good that they are highlighting teenage issues...hardly any shows do that... but thoda logic ke saath dikhao please...why take sahara of vampish things to show that?

And one doubt- Naina-Swati-Preeti completely intervening in MunDit ladai in front of the whole school crowd. What about the 90s wala thing where girls-boys didn't interact that openly. Matlab PVKM ke bachhe andhe-behre hai we know that...but still...😆

Anyway...Your post is lovely and better than the episode. 🤗

Havent watched the epi yet...may not get until tomorrow or the day after...sneaking in sometime in between work...

the epi seems like a total bottom for all them(SMP and Naina)...and there will be no where to go except to raise...hoping that it will go this way...

my heart goes for Munna and Pandit...even the strongest of the friendships see hard time...this is so true

dadi and her hair tucking antics...i hope deepika comes and tells that she didnt draw sameer...hurt sameer is better than lost sameer for me

the letter was funny for me...i was hoping that Rakesh would assume that it was for him from shanti teacher😆

Nice post and caps Nivi!

The Shanthi teacher and Naina scene was nicely done. Rest .. I think the underlying issues are valid i.e. MunDit missing Sameer, Sameer trying to fit into what is a very hostile environment, daadi who has always wanted Vishaka but not her son, even Deepika who seems confused as to how to relate to Sam.. however the storyline seems to have lost steam and the incidents are either repetitive (like dadi plotting) or kind of forced (MunDit fight being instigated by the bet boys)..

I agree with Zulu - Sam being in a new school and trying to fit in would have been more impactful. Maybe it really is time for the CVs to move on to the next phase! :)

PS: hope the spoiler about Rakesh creating a ruckus with the letter and Shanthi teacher is not true else 🤢

I don't know yaar, it does not even feel like the Undinon which I used to eagerly wait to watch and love the episodes.

I hardly have any enthusiasm to watch it now.

Today I read your post and then watched it.

Sameer always studied in a boarding school. He could have made friends with hooligans back then, particularly when his anger was out of control then and he was growing up as a rebel kid.

Now when he has become so responsible, when he has promised his dying Nanu that he will become Sameer Jayaprakash Maheshwari, after dealing with the Agarwals with such patience, I feel this plot of him going astray very forced and artificial.

If this had happened when he came newly to Ahmd, it would have looked natural. But now NO.

And Dadi, she is just evil. I feel like banging my head when I see her onscreen.

How many days did Sameer drop Deepika for her to see his friends smoking?

It must be the same day right as Munna and Pandit are still fighting about roses.

So when did Deepika see them smoking?

Again looks forced.

M and P fighting also, I just don't understand why are they fighting in the first place.

And what kind of a school is this where ex students roam around freely in uniforms.

The only saving grace of the episode was Shanti teacher and Naina's talk.

I loved it. But why did she take the letter with her?
