Lots of layered meanings in those dialogues...I must say the writers have done good job...
I am one of those who is eagerly waiting to see how Nani a and sameer bond after the death of Nanu and stand by each other ...naina has to comes of her shell...a strong naina who will support sameer is what I am waiting for .

Dil le lo ❤️

This is what went in my mind and you just put it in words right there.
I am actually looking forward to this.
I trust the writers.
And emotional growth > mundane romance any day !
It's the 90s , no distance will keep them apart.

But this write up is bang on and so apt.

Thank you! I don't read much these days, but I just read you in Nivi's post, towards the end of the thread I believe. Like you said, its all about "Walking the talk" now for sure. Like Shashi mam is known for being that pillar of strength to Sumeer sir, we are going to see exactly that here!

Looking forward to what you write! Take your time! :)

Thank you so much! I know right! Absolutely love CVs for taking this risk. Clearly shows how confident they are with the story ahead. I mean all of the farewell stuff was shot almost 3 weeks ago. They are very well ahead in writing the story and very confident with it. Love that!!

I saw the birthday wishes video for Shashi mam the other day. The way Nageen (one of the CVs) spoke about Shashi mam, I was so sure they gonna portray this onscreen so beautifully. She was like everybody thinks, Naina is lucky to have Sameer but its actually the opposite. Sumeet sir is lucky to have you and unki toh lottery lag gayi hai! How true! Sameer's transformation in the show is my fav most thing about the show, and it all started because of Naina.

I also saw a 30min interview of Sumeet sir recently and him talking about his journey to rise. He spoke about loosing his Nanaji at 17 and that it's his name as his middle name, etc. And gosh, in 5 mins of that interview he must have taken Shashi mam's name like 10+ times, saying how supportive she has been in his journey. And I was like wow! He truly truly appreciates that aspect and why not!!

Can't wait to see this onscreen!!

Hi Anshu...hope i got your name right and if not, please forgive me...

First things first...In a love story...what matters most is the couple's journey. I always say that this genre is among the toughest to translate effectively on screen. Its like this...for everyone their own love story is a special one...but if the wide world has to be interested in it...it has to have that flavour of drawing people in...A serial needs to balance so many aspects...when they start to relate a story...character sketches, the genesis of the conflict (intrinsic or extraneous) its resolution, the ebb and flow...

The problem is people start getting impatient with the aspects surrounding the tale that is used to prop the tale. However, a tale cannot function in a vacuum. While a love story derives its raison d'tre from the interplay of the main protagonists...it is not possible for their situations to conduct themselves in an island. Naina and Sameer's personal situation and circumstances will affect the tale. The interest is in how they deal with these situations that will form the crux of their journey. Misunderstandings, conflicts are not to be feared if there is a clear logic why it occurred. I agree that most of the time...people worry because the medium does not deliver on the promise or it succumbs to the pressures of the business. Yet with YUD, i still feel like trusting my gut instinct becos it is sold as a UN DINON ka romance. I am not saying that there is something extraordinary in the romance of the oeriod...As far as I know...pyaar ka naam aaj bhi pyaar hain but since it is touted as the romance of that time, it is natural to assume it will assume the moral high ground. To say...that we did not have the means to be connected yet we did😉 Also...I liked the simple premise of the story on which it is based..Shashi and Sumeet Mittal's love tale. She fell in love at first sight and he fell in love over a period of time...they chose different pathways to realise their love...but what matters is that LOVE ENDURES...whatever its pathway...

Hehe, brought a smile to my face! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Dil le lo back!

Yes, we will get the typical romance too but it will have much more depth to it and meaning behind it, and wont be there just for the heck of it.

You got my name right! How beautifully you penned down, what is required for the tale to be told, Rekha!

I don't think if I add anything to this, it will do any justice to what you've written. But I completly agree with you! I rarely watch serials, so if something grabs my attention I am looking for it to sustain, the same way it got me hooked in the first place. Like you said, many succumb to the medium or pressure of the business. So far, I think YUD has not done that. And the reason, I still don't feel like leaving it at all. Instead I am excited for the new phase now.

@Bold: How right! I hear some of the VOs at times, or how things are portrayed many a times, I say this to myself. Its true na, pyaar ab ho ya tab, pyaar toh pyaar hai. Saccha pyaar toh saccha pyaar hai. Some things at the core are same and love is that. But yes, the whole "Un dinon" aspect brings new-ness to it than what's being offered to viewers now. And the way they utilise this, brings out the charm or magic for us to watch. Combined with situations, circumstances, other characters, etc etc creates the whole experience for us! And with YUD, its been lovely so far! And it will be. As you said, Love endures!
