The disclaimer to Chapter 3 was a comic relief ahead of Rakesh's terse and totally annoying lectures. Sure, the content was meant for mature audiences who understand that love goes beyond the hot carnal desires and is felt in the little exchanges between a couple. I'm glad I'm beyond 3 though or it could have been a major bugger. 😆

Moving on, I was really glad to see Arjun in a good light in this story. I've always liked his character on the show despite the boos because he's exactly what a 90's brother would be like. But his bond with Naina here made me go all smiles 😊

Munna and Pandit filled in for Arjun beautifully at the wedding and it was so thoughtful of you to incorporate that little moment into the story. Again, the imagery and the detailing was a visual treat. From Sameer being kicked out of Naina's room to Munna's big brother rants and Naina's shy demeanor, the emotions were portrayed very well and I could completely visualize the story in my head. Kudos, girl! 👏

And at the very end, Sameer breaking into an impromptu Bollywood sequence at the mention of the wedding night in his head was so hilarious. I could imagine Munna, Pandit and several other background dancers cheering for Sameer. Alas! His dreams were short lived, what with the juein making a comeback!😆

Wonder if they'd gone off for a vacay whilst Sameer and Naina got married. 🤣

So, Cosmosnadme, like I said I completely enjoyed the read and well, I'm hooked! I can't wait to find out how Sameer managed to sit through the night doing DHER SAARI BAATEIN with Naina 😆😆 and also, how the family drama unfolds! The dreamy part of SamAina's story will end soon and I'm eager to see how they steer their life through the sea of obstacles that'd come their way.
And lastly, I'm going to shamelessly request PMs for future updates. Oh and update soon! 😉

*writes after landing back, post a trip to the moons and stars*
Believe me when I say this, but replying to this two part comment of yours was the biggest challenge I've faced on this thread till date.

I'm blown away by the kind of attention you've paid to this story. I'd call this comment the perfect summary of 'The Runaway Marriage', that I myself would never be able to out do. It feels like I've taken a second tour this story!😊

What an amazing feeling it is, when things are received the exact same way I had wanted them to be! Sorry for this dramatic line, but if I am allowed to pack my favourite things in a box and take them along after I die, this comment would be going to heaven (or hell😆) with me!

I'm way too overwhelmed that I would never be able to articulate how this made me feel- still makes me feel actually! If I manage to find the right set of words, I'm going to come back and edit this comment! 😉

Too much, way too much love and gratitude to you for the support, kindness and generosity.
You're pure blessing a reader's disguise!

-Villete-, I would be expecting to see you again, always! ❤️

PS :

* Of course I'm gonna PM you. No one in the right state of mind would want to miss out on a reader like you and comments like these!

* I guess you're a writer yourself! If not, it's time you turned one! 👏

Okay first of all, I absolutely love the pace of the story... The circumstances in which they have been since some time - with Sameer being troubled in his own business, and then trying to form a place for himself in Mumbai, and Naina being under constant pressure and observation at home - it would have been completely unrealistic if they jumped into lala land immediately after marriage...
Instead, I am really happy to read the way they are taking it slow, especially Sameer. And they are focusing on the matters at hand. His meeting was important, he knew it, Naina knew it... yes, he had desires... but the most potent desire for him is her... and even talking to her, reminiscing their time together in school is soothing for him... Lovers separated from each other do miss the physical proximity, but more than that they miss the feeling to sharing a meal, having a conversation, just being able to look at your loved ones whenever you want to. Coming home after a tiring day, and talking to your partner is a bliss that only those can understand who have missed this chance sometime... I have... and I know how I craved for it... So Naina and Sameer talking and how Naina boosted his morale is a wonderful thing you shared in this update. Somehow it reminded me of Mt. Abu when Sameer recited that poem, and everybody applauded, he was happy with it, but the utmost happiness he received was on seeing the tears of pride in Naina's eyes. Appreciation from the world is important, but appreciation from your loved ones is the one that matters most... And he received it from Naina as well as his mother... Truly said, Naina stepping into his life with the holy bond of marriage has truly added to his luck.

And their friends, they are nowhere side-characters... they are the pillars of support in their life... someone they can always fall back on. I loved Swati-Naina conversation... So the girls have taught Naina a few things about married life... 😆 Although, that makes me wonder how do they know about it...
MunDit are adorable munchkins... their antics are fun to read, and their support to their friend and bhabhi is heartwarming... how they dealt with that inquisitive nurse...! and them saving up money so they can help their friend in case he needs it after marriage, omg, they are truly friendship goals.

The teasing and innuendos from Sameer was a delight to read - "aaj raat kuch special hone wala hai" - hahaha... poor Naina... such an innocent soul... but her mind has already started moving onto the physical proximity part after marriage... else she wouldn't have dared to try that night gown. Ah the peace and joy of reading their journey towards discovery... I loved that hug... both times, when Sameer came in the room after his meeting, and then at the hospital... there is no place more secure, more peaceful that the arms of your husband. And she feels it... Sameer made her feel it... His wants are not restricted to amorous advances, but her entire being... He wanted to make her feel safe, to chase away her worries, to soothe her, to let her know how much he loved her... And he did it... the spot he chose for giving her his first kiss is so perfect...

The pride he feels on seeing her as his wife, the love he feels for her is perfectly reflected in this update... as is the balance between love and guilt and insecurity in Naina's mind...
A wholesome update with the perfect dose of romance and bonding... Loved it!

I will not say update soon, but do know that I am eager to read more.. .and you will find me here whenever you update next...

Love,
Mou

Aha! Kaafi progress kar liye humare bachon ne iss update mein...
Sameer apne meeting mein aur Naina apni setting mein..I mean she got better in hospital ...😉

Loved the whole of it.👏 Especially the few comments/remarks that aided Sameer's dialogue..Too good. You are so pro in writing these..Especially loved 'how' the bringing of hair to one side could help in drinking in soup.😆

Visakha and Sameer conversation just reminded me of Farida Jalal and Reema Lagoo of 90s..And the 'Tofu Saga' was lit..
And the angel like friendship of Munna and Pandit is another strong pillar of the story.

Truly saying,I have a very bad memory of 'Runaway Marriage' in my family.Though this theme always makes me remind of the memories and in this story I feel so bad about Chacha and Chachi but never the less the light hearted treatment to an intense theme like this keeps me glued to this story.😳

I am wondering if the 'jue' made any progress or not...😉

Thanks for the PM and update soon.

With love-
Minu.

Tareef karun kya tumhari ...the update was so beautiful
It actually made my day ..all of a sudden I'm in such a happy mood
I loved each and evey bit of the update ..it was really magical
You brilliantly portrayed the equations between all the relationships ..
Samundit toh jaan hai ..how selflessly they gave all the money to Sameer without thinking even for a second
And their " FIRST NIGHT " was really awesome
And that dialogue " so what I didn't slept with her ..." It really had my heart
Then my favorite part of the update ..Sameer embracing Naina in his arms saying " pyar kar raha hun " uff I was dead ..as I'm a very dedicated visual thinker
The dinner part was really written so well ..Sameer's overflowing emotions ..and then the highlight of the update
" I LOVE TOFU "
Sameer assuring Naina and giving her the care she wanted and disserved at the hospital was so beautiful
And the way " he fulfilled his wants " was sooo sweet and adorable
I've actually became your fan ...and I'm really hooked to your story ..you surely know how to grab the attention of readers

Please zyada tadpana mat
Mujh bholi- bhali bacchi pe Rehem karna
Aur jaldi darshan de dena
