Execution ruined the feel

I do not know if it's just me but I really did not like the execution of the episode today. No I'm not talking about the sad incidents. Those were needed. But they way they were shot.

1) The SLOW MOTION OVERDOSE!

From their dressing up at respective homes to Nanu's collapse, aaj to slow motion fest tha epi. It actually made Nanu's collapse look a little comical at times. Then Naina and Pandit trying to ring up Sam, Sam in the car, Sam's reaction on seeing Nanu lying on the floor- these scenes too. Slow motion doesn't make things intense always. I really wish if they had actually captured Sameers expressions and voice on seeing Nanu in that state.

2) Nanu walking with Sam's support.

Really? Why? Sameer couldn't have called the driver for help or what? Or neighbours? Did Nanu seem to be in a condition to walk even!

Today's was a very crucial epi and I'm very disappointed with the way it was shown. I got a very clumsy feel overall. The only things I liked were Chacha Chachi helping Naina to keep the saree and the scene were Nanu feeds Sam Jalebis.

I hope things are better tomorrow!

i dont hv the himmat to watch tdays epi..saw the whole episode in fast forward ...but yestrdays episode the samundit scene seemed very forced..yaa it was funny naanu piking out suits..for mundit..but pandit crying n munna etc etc..n their hug..seemed very forcd zero feels...yaa but sorry tht was yest episode...😕

I agree... Felt so too... The execution wasn't the best... Even sam's reaction wasn't shown well.

well i would say the episode which was supposed to be gripping didnt look like gripping at all... cvs seems to be in a hurry for leap... they forgot s in naina's hand... arjun sam talk ... also post leap delhi scenes sister kaha se ayi? lots of gaps r there... cvs need to get a grip over d story line

I totally agree! Very bad execution!

This is not what we expect from the makers of this show. On the other hand, I've always felt that the strength of this show lies in the light elements, the romance, and the VO's. But when it comes to dramatic scenes, I feel the writers just seem to use the same old cliched way of storytelling we see in the other tv shows.

The episode was indeed too slow for my liking - surely, they could have shot it way better. The Sameer-Nanaji scene was nice but everything else moved at a snail's pace.

I really hope cvs take care in the future - While overall quality is much better than other shows, the writing and direction could still be improved a lot.

I honestly feel they need to bring back the original director. Just the other day I was seeing the beginning episodes and they were so well directed and edited...Its flow and everything was great.

I feel like its not the same anymore. Yes story is great. All actors are great. However, I feel like lot of times scenes are cut out of no where. Or executions sucks. Or just things are all over the place. I don't know why they got rid of the old director, but, they are ruining a great concept by changing the director.


I feel like if they bring the old director back, and instead of relying on music too much, they put in actual dialogues, and make an earlier time slot. They can get great trps out of this show. This will be a gem story for their channel however, they are not utilizing it to the best of their ability.

The worst part for me in today's episode was why were the voices muted...Kamya and Hema's dialogue muted, Arjun lip-syncing Papa kehte hai but no words only music, Sameer's Nanu scream muted...Mute karna hi tha toh taiji ko karte...waise bhi pakati hai😆

And Sameer's munshiji shout out seemed out of place for me...He shouted so lightly that it couldn't even be heard in the next room...Nanu's actual heart attack scene was fine for me but there were many other out of place scenes

was it muted on tv too? I thought it was muted online due to copyright issues.
