There were many good things to take home from today's episode. There was an example set by Principal sir that men-women should distribute their work and understand each other's hardships...As Naina said it's all about SAAJEDAARI in relationship.
Then there was also another seekh by Shaanti teacher and Principal sir about being grateful for food which was also a nice lesson...Overall it was a smooth simple episode...
Also there was heartfelt and yet strong letter by Arjun to Shefali...

But the question in my mind is How far has Naina's character gone into this relationship!? How much appropriate it was of the CVs to show Naina burning her hand in order to understand his "PAIN"...

Yes, I know many of you would say that people do stupid things in love, plus she is in her teens...if so then don't you think she has gone a lot ahead in love? Till now her love for Sameer was shown by her care...by cooking for him, saving him from Safari suit, by knitting for him, by giving him her share of meal, by identifying his talent and bringing it in front of everyone, and even again today sharing her meal...
All these instances were relatable, beautiful and received well by the audience...

But is the character going too far to understand the difference between right and wrong? Has the character forgotten that it is not acceptable for a guy to get into a girl's room especially when her roommate is sleeping. How much appropriate was it of Naina-Sameer to not inform Swati at least about Sameer being in the room?

Yes there have been many movies/shows in the past where such things have happened, but do the teens of 90s go to such an extent? Would it be wrong of Safari suit (a 90s father not to forget) to scold her and create a scene out of it?

Again I agree that she did all of this out of care for Sameer, as he was cold and couldn't stay out all night...But is it justified of Naina to do all this?

How far does a sensible person go in love?

P.S: This is a genuine doubt I have got, it's not a post where I intend to bash the show in anyway. Neither am I a person like Naina's Taiji who is regressive in any matters of love. This episode has somewhat left me a tad-bit confused and hence I expect some good justifications from you all... I am still as much a fan of YUDKBH just like you all...

Oh I totally agree... I loved the part they showed abt sharing responsibilities and especially liked the fact that the Principal sir asked them not to laugh when he said he washes the dishes when his wife cooks... Bcz that point is made fun in many desi shws... Here I loved the fact that they told that this is no laughing matter... It is something good to be practised in life... What is wrong in washing the dishes wch was used to prepare the food u n ur loved ones have eaten? If u can share a candy floss the other has eaten, then this is jus similar to that and more helpful too...

But like u said, first they shw smdng so nice and they botched it up with dat self harming scene... Totally not acceptable... Really wished the grown up Naina condemned it... But... Anyways, this is my views on it...https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/post/145329458

And next point abt naina not informing Swati? I agree with that too but I guess she might inform her and they might nt have shown that in the precap... I at least hope she informed her... Giving him a place to stay is fine with me bcz well she is in love, but to embarrass ur bff for ur bf is not done! Bcz gals sleep in all sorts of manner and they wud be embarrassed if sm new guy is in their room suddenly... So hopefully she did inform Swati...

N the last point, well any dad would blast his daughter in that situation... helping a sick person or not... They will be right in blasting her... Bcz see they will say that Sam always had a choice to go and sleep in sm other boys room... His friends being drunk needn't be revealed... He can just say they are both very tired and not opening the door... So well, unki band tho zaroor bajne wali hai for their immaturity... And sadly we cant fault safari suit this time...

Naina did a lot of things for Sameer including losing her sensibility...the makers want to show her head over heals madly in love with him before she finds out about the bet and her thoughts of love get shattered in pieces ...the point of today's episode I feel was just to show how crazily she is in love with Sameer that she can even go through pain for him with a smiling face...I really feel it was a bit too much this burning hand thing but the makers know better ...I guess they will show Sameer in the same state in the future episodes when he falls head over heals for her...
Eventhe part of her keeping Sameer in her room ( am sure out of concern for him) and puttingg Swati in trouble as well is a little out of the way on her part and Naina's family is really too traditional so it's obvious both Sameer & Naina are in deep trouble when Rakesh sir sees Sameer in her room.

Yes I hope the episode will be better than the precap..I hope they do inform Swati ...cause it's just against the roommate code to call a guy in the room without informing her...but then again they are immature and would learn eventually...

And regarding the hand burn ...Voiceover of grownup Naina somehow seems to justify her act

That's the thing Naina's character has lost her sensibility almost completely...she has been doing stuff without even thinking about its consequences.
Yes may be in future Sameer would also be head over heels in love with her but I hope they won't show such irresponsible behavior on his part...hope his character won't go ahead to such an extent under the name of Love

I totally agree, when you share a room with some one and you have brought a friend of yours then you should ask your roommate if he /she is comfortable about you bringing a friend to the room...its simple ethics that you follow ...and in yesterdays case she could have taken the help of teachers or woken up Swathi ...

Anyways I didn't think much ...for drama sake they will do a lot of such weird stuff but in real life its different...

I did not even appreciate the way she burnt her hand to know the pain...so many teenagers watch these things...well todays new gen kids are super smart and logical...a lot of oldies might think they are not...but I feel they are much better when it comes to their reasoning skills and social awareness...its just that we confuse them with old ideologies nd their reasoning skills...but even then there might be one or two crazy like Naina ...seeing this I hope no one imitates it... 😡

All I can say...love should bring in happiness, it should make you a better person and not stupid...what ever she did was absolutely stupid and no child should imitate it!!

Till now this show has been really good in showing stuff about teenagers...I just hope they continue to do so and not ruin it by showing some extreme stuff otherwise there won't be any difference between the other usual shows and YUDKBH...
Yes people in teens go to certain heights...and Naina is no different...Infact many 90s movies have shown such stuff...it's just that she shouldn't love beyond this..she has shown to be a sensible character from the start...infact in Sameer-Naina's relation Naina seems to be the mature one...the essence is in her subtleties and care...
