Anyways I didn't think much ...for drama sake they will do a lot of such weird stuff but in real life its different...

I did not even appreciate the way she burnt her hand to know the pain...so many teenagers watch these things...well todays new gen kids are super smart and logical...a lot of oldies might think they are not...but I feel they are much better when it comes to their reasoning skills and social awareness...its just that we confuse them with old ideologies nd their reasoning skills...but even then there might be one or two crazy like Naina ...seeing this I hope no one imitates it... 😡

All I can say...love should bring in happiness, it should make you a better person and not stupid...what ever she did was absolutely stupid and no child should imitate it!!

Actually today's children are super smart true and not that emotional. But I genuinely feel, back then kids were wiser and much more mature.Thats the reason I can't accept nainas behaviour.I mean today's kids won't do what Naina did coz they are much more into other things and not that much enamoured by love.I mean practical.Naina mite not b practical but I expected a little more sense from her.Drama ke liye kuch bhi

Yeah perfectly put points.👏 I don't know about 90s much, but still it feels uncomfortable when some other person and when of opposite sex intrudes into private space. It was perfectly fine if Naina could have stayed alone, but with Swati around I just hope they better discuss about it like if Sameer is sleeping on Naina's bed then where will Naina sleep? Now they shouldn't show Naina waking up all night.😕

I agree with you all here..
I have always seen Naina as a tad self centred or might I say selfish. Now why do I feel this way?
She has most of the times put herself and her feelings for Sameer above all else. For ex. Not telling her best friend about her feelings for Sameer, when she very well knew that Swati too nursed feelings for Sameer. ok, maybe Naina was shy and didn't wanna reveal to Swati but am not buying that.
Again in that Romeo Juliet play, she didn't even think once before demanding to play Juliet again as to how Swati who has prepared laboriously for the role might feel with this act of hers. All Naina thought of was that she had to play Juliet opposite sameer. She didn't request her family even once to let Preeti to come along for the mount abu trip. These are just some of the examples that I picked up.

My point here is to not bash Naina but to share my perspective of her - someone who puts what she wants above all else and in this case, it's Sameer. So her inviting him to her room, and not taking Swati s consent to do so will be in line with her charectization so far. She has so far put all propriety away when it comes to Sameer. So I will not be surprised by this nightly sojourn of hers.

in fact Ur rite.
Naina is in infact self centred.

Remember when they found out that Rajesh was not with them, instead of being worried for her father, she was concerned that he mite join the trip.

Also, she has time and again lied for Sameer and Sameer has very intelligently used this fact.

Maybe this is all for her to feel extremely stupid when she comes to know abt the bet.

Good post.
That burning her hand thing was down right creepy and crazy..that was also extremely filmy too...but then I feel she is inspired by Ek Duje Ke Liye or something..these kinda movies had a huge influence on teens in that generation..

I definitely think Naina went too far in burning her hand..harming oneself in love, that too for something so basic..where Sameer got burnt accidentally by no fault of hers..I almost saw a glimpse of stalkerish obsession like SRK from Darr..

Notwithstanding all of this above, I still love Naina the most amongst all the characters..maybe CVs purposely focused on this as one last mad act in love from Naina,..because anytime now the bet thing will be out soon..and her heart will be broken with double the intensity..and she will reflect back on how stupid she has been..and this will mean a lot more work for Sameer to manaao her

About her bringing Sameer into her room..IDK, lets see how it actually plays out today..but it really seems lesser of a crime compared to her burning her hand for now😕

Oh yes it is huge turn off when people go to extreme heights and call it love...

Hope in the episode they show that they tried reaching out their teachers but couldn't so they took this alternative

I cant digest some scenes even if im from 2017. 1st self harm is a definitely no, it shouldnt even be shown on a teen show watched by youths who will think its a cool thing. 2nd underage drinking is illegal and not something to be shown on a youth show. 3rd I put my self in naina's position and asked myself whether i will let a boy sleep in my room i share with my room mate, the answer i can come up with is no but if i do permission from my room mate is 100% necessary.

Even the 2017 me cant digest and accept any of this. this show always puts down our generation yes we might be into technology stuff now but our morals are still the same as those of the 90s kids.
