Water

Water, is a great necessity, without it nothing can live. Only earth and water can bring forth a living soul. Such is the greatness of water that spiritual regeneration cannot be done without it.

Water is a cleansing, healing, psychic, and loving element. It is the feeling of friendship and love that pours over us when we are with our family, friends and loved ones. You can feel its cool liquidity; it's soft and loving touch, this motion and fluidity is the quality of Air within Water.

As well as being vital for life, within the energy of this element is contained the essence of love. Love is the underlying reason for all magic. Water is love.

Water is a feminine element, it also the element of emotion and subconscious, of purification, intuition, mysteries of the self, compassion and family. It is psychic ability; water can be used as a means of scrying or as an object for meditation. Water is important in spells and rituals of friendship, marriage, happiness, fertility, healing, pleasure, psychic abilities and spells involving mirrors.

This is the second OS in my series that I started long time back...I'm so sorry for giving this so much gap...but now I will be completing the series fast. In this OS I have tried to relate this to water...how...that I'll be telling in the end. So now please give it a read and enjoy on this weekend.

This OS is timed after the library key stealing incident when Sameer was very angry with Naina for not trying to find out the truth before revealing everything in front of the Principal. He didn't want to go to the school next day but on insistence by his Nanu, he agreed to go. He told him that when he knows he is innocent, he shouldn't be hiding away from everyone and just go as if nothing happened. Sameer can't deny anything to his Nanu so he went to school halfheartedly. In the school the first person he sees while entering the school is none other than Naina. He looks at her in anger and she turns her face away from him and leaves to enter the class. In the class Sameer asks Munna to sit on the side where Naina was sitting and he sat next to him so that he avoids seeing her. his heart was not in the class and was repeatedly recalling the incident happening the previous day.

He wasn't talking much to anyone today...he was very much unlike him. Munna and Pandit repeatedly tried to cheer him up...but he was very lost in his thoughts. The whole day passed off in his silence and none of them talked to each other or anyone else. After the school ended, the teacher asked Naina to stay back in school for sometime as she had some important work which she wanted Naina to complete before leaving for home today. She told her father that she would be late in coming home due to the work given to her and he asked her to come before its too late.

Sameer and his gang were in the school after it ended as they knew he needed their company. He knew that his Nanu would be late in coming home today as he was busy with some factory work. He didn't want to meet her mother and his step father when he goes home ...so he was spending his time in the school itself.

Munna: yaar Sameer tu kab tak aise udaas rahega...tu aisa udaas achha nahi lag raha...

Pandit: haan yaar ...tu baat to kar humse...

Sameer: kya karu yaar...mujhe kuchh achha nahi lag raha...main to aaj school bhi nahi aana chahta tha...par Nanu ne kaha to main unhe mana nahi kar paya...aur aa gaya...aate hi mujhe us behenji...Principal ki chamchi ka chehra dekhna pada...

Pandit: yaar tu us baat ko bhool ja na...Nanaji ne kaha hai na...ki wo achhe se enquiry karayenge...to wait to kar...

Sameer: tum dono theek kehte ho...mujhe apne Nanu ke liye smile karna hoga...chalo ab ghar chalte hain...

They were about to leave on his bike when he saw that his bike had some technical fault (I'm not good at mentioning these so I'm escaping by just mentioning technical fault). He tried to fix it but it needed time and some mechanic's help. Munna and Pandit went to look out for a mechanic while he stayed back in school. There Naina also finished the allotted work and as she was about to leave she saw that it had started to rain heavily. She couldn't ride her bicycle in this rain and she decided to wait for the rain to stop.

While she was was waiting in the gallery, she saw Sameer calling his Nanu to send the driver with car to school as no mechanic was available to help in such rain...even Munna and Pandit couldn't come back. Nanu told him that he was alone at home as the driver went to his hometown as his father was unwell and Vishakha and his step father were also not home as they had gone for shopping. They had taken the car along with them only. Sameer was very disappointed to know this and he banged his fist against the wall as he was stuck up in school in this rain.

He saw Naina standing there in the gallery and he turned away from her. she understood the entire matter and the reason for his frustration. Although she too was angry with him for misbehaving with her despite being at fault (according to her perception), she decided to talk to him as she was taught to help someone in need. She went close to him.

Naina: Sameer kya baat hai...tum ghar nahi gaye ab tak?

Sameer: tumhe isse kya...tum jaao yahan se...mujhe tumse koi baat nahi karni...

Naina: main jaanti hu ki tumhe mujhse baat nahi kari aur main bhi nahi karna chahti tumse baat...lekin...

Sameer: lekin kya?

Naina: mere Chachaji kehte hain ki zaroorat ke samay mein help karna chahiye...chahe koi humara dushman hi kyun na ho...isliye...

Sameer: right...to main tumhara dushman hu...

Naina: mera wo matlab nahi tha...tum wo sab chhodo...dekho hum dono hi same problem mein phase hain...aur koi help ke liye nahi hai...mere paas cycle hai...baarish thodi kam ho jaye...to hum cycle pe jaa sakte hain...pehle tumhe ghar pe chhodkar main apne ghar chali jaaungi...

Sameer: tum mujhe ghar chhodogi...come on...

Naina: to tum mujhe ghar kaise chhodoge? Cycle to meri hai na... to main hi tumhe chhod sakti hu...

Sameer: lekin main tumhare peeche nahi baithunga...samjhi tum...

Naina: achha baba main peeche baith jaaungi...ab theek hai...waise tumhe cycle chalani aati hai...

Sameer: tum jaanti nahi ho mujhe...main school mein cycle race mein first aata tha...

They both agreed that whenever the rain decreases, they would go on her cycle. After sometime, the rain slowed down and they decided to start for home as no one knew whether the rain would stop completely or not. Naina sat behind him on the back seat and held the bags while he was riding the cycle. On the way Naina went into her thoughts despite her being angry with him but her crush on him overpowered her thoughts for the time being. She imagined them going together on a bike and the song playing...hawa ke saath saath...ghata ke sang sang...

Aachhu...Sameer sneezed and she was brought out from her trance...

Naina: tumhe to sardi ho gayi hai...

Sameer: haan mujhe baarish mein bheegne se sardi ho jaati hai...koi baat nahi ghar jaake dawai le lunga...

Soon both of them reached his home. He found his Nanu waiting desperately for him as he had informed him that he would manage himself as there was no way out. He kept on repeatedly sneezing and Nanu asked both of them to dry themselves up. Nanu got worried for him as he had caught cold. Naina told him that she would make kadha for him that would cure his cold immediately.

Nanu: tumhe kadha banana aata hai?

Naina: ji Nanaji...jab mujhe sardi hoti hai to mujhe yehi kadha peena hota hai aur usse sardi ekdum theek ho jaati hai...main abhi bana deti hu...

She went to the kitchen and with their domestic help, she made kadha for Sameer. Nanu was very impressed to see her helping him despite whatever happened in the school.

Nanu: tumne yeh kadha banana apni Maa se seekha hai...

She was silent for few moments ...after that she said...

Naina: meri Maa nahi hain...wo to bachpan mein hi...

Nanu: oh...to tumne yeh sab...

Naina: yeh sab maine apni Chachiji se seekha hai...unhone hi mujhe paala hai...sagi Maa ki tarah pyar karti hain wo mujhe...jab bhi main beemar hoti hu...mera itna khayal rakhti hain ki mujhe kabhi apni Maa ki kami mehsoos hi nahi hui... Meri family mera bahut dhyan rakhti hai...

Nanu: tum bahut achhi ho Naina...

Sameer was reluctant in taking that kadha as it was bitter but Nanu insisted so he took it unwantingly. While Naina was making the kadha Vishakha had also arrived but Sameer didn't pay attention to her but she was observing all the conversation between Naina and her father. Somewhere she realised that she had been unreasonably rude to her own son and felt for the first time that Sameer needs her more than anyone else and she felt guilty for ignoring him over the years.

Naina left after greeting everyone including his stepfather who didn't even respond to her greeting. Nanu asked Sameer to take rest as he was unwell and he went to his room and lied down. He was having headache because of his cold and Vishakha came upto him and sat close to him on the bed. Sameer had his eyes closed when she started applying balm on his forehead...Sameer opened his eyes surprised and asked his Mom how come she had time for him today?

Vishakha: Sameer beta...I'm sorry...maine tumhe itne saalon mein bahut ignore kiya...uske liye mujhe maaf kar do...aaj us ladki ki baton se mujhe laga ki ek bachhe ke liye Maa kitni important hai...uski Chachi ne use Ma aka pyaar diya aur main to tumhari sagi Maa hote huye bhi...ho sake to mujhe maaf kar do beta...

Sameer: aaj aapko samajh aa gaya...kyun ki aapne Naina ke mujh se wo sab suna... aapko khud se kabhi khayal nahi aaya...jayiye Mom...aap apne doosre bete Rohan ke paas... he sat with his face turned away from his Mom.

Nanaji who was observing everything came inside and calmed him down. He asked him to forgive his mother as she has realised her mistake and she deserved a chance. Sameer as usual couldn't say no to Nanu and he hugged his mother. Both of them had tears in their eyes and because of Naina he got her Mom back ...he couldn't make out for himself...what was there between him and Naina that was so different which he wasn't able to understand at this time.

P.S..I relate this OS to water as I took the qualities of water...that is its cool liquidity, its healing power and to mould itself according to the container in which its put. Here we can see Naina and her character to be similar as she decided to help him despite being angry with him for his deeds and also how she makes his Mom realise her mistake...although unintentionally...she gave Sameer a relation which he craved for since many years to calm down the fire of loneliness and ignorance from his mother towards him. I hope you all would agree.

Loved how you incorporated the element of water in their dry lives, bereft of love.I loved the rain setting.Excellent scene that was.👏👏👏
The aftermath of the scene was simply beautiful. There is no substitute for mother's love. But Visakha has only presented Sameer with her ''presents'' and never her ''presence''.This void is too deep to filled. But thankfully she realised ,and all thanks to our dear, adorable Naina.❤️
I sum up this beautiful part with this single line--
"I water you,you water me and we grow together.'' 😳
Update the next elements soon and thanks for the PM.
Keep Writing and Keep Smiling.😃😃
