See the problem with these dahiya, anita and avantika types is they get more ss compared to other sideys only because they are infulenced. People like romi, mr.bhalla, amma , appa, bala, vandu, sravan, no one gets these opportunity. Tbey should be jealous of the former actors privileges. People like abhishek are thrown out completely, But these things never bother them, they seem to be partying all day with them.
It's unfair to equalize nepotism that gave Dahiya screen space in YHM with Avantika's screen space in YHM. First of all, Mihika Iyer is the second lead of the show, she is bound to get a good amount of screen space. Mihika Verma as Mihika Iyer used to get a lot of screen space with every one including Raman. People did not feel wrong. It's just that KP and Avantika happen to have a good onscreen chemistry and the fake Raman-Mihika marriage track happened, many IshRa fans don't like Avantika as Mihika, specially when around Raman. But that's not Avantika's fault. Like Romi/Aly, she is also supposed to have tracks where she could be useful and get meaningful screen space but she didn't get any. But when Avantika signed up for the show, she signed up to fill the SECOND LEAD Mihika's shoes. Her remuneration was also also according to her role. Since YHM is reduced to living room kitchen politics show where everyone gathered in a living and create scenes (literally), she as Mihika and Bhalla bahu has to be there.
In case of Dahiya, if you can remember, the whole purpose of his existence was to get pair up with Mihika for some time. It was planned to be lighthearted relationship to make Mihir jealous or at best, create an angle between MiMi. But CVs later on decided to go on with RoMika. As you you wound know: Aly Goni, Mihika Verma and RSA gave first screen test together for YHM as CVs always had MiMi or RoMika in their minds. So, they stopped showing ACP-Mihika. So Dahiya's presence in YHM had no justification at all but peculiarly he was used to be seen with Ishita.In the meantime, Dahiya got involved with DT without public knowledge. Onscreen, he as ACP was seen most of the time with Ishita. His role, by then, was of a police officer. In daily soaps, such minor roles like police officers are done by extras. But there, not only extras role was done by a side actor, he was roaming around female lead all the time. On top of that, YHM for the first time started to have full fledged crime tracks one after another just to accommodate him onscreen. Naturally he got paid much more than an extra for doing a role of extra and the PH happily paid for it because of DT and Sikcand connection. It's only when Dahiya won NB and no longer wished to do a side role, the CVs stopped showing him. After that, in about two years, police officers' roles are done by many extras but none get such money or exposure from the CVs or PH. They treated them as extras only.
So comparing second lead with the nepotism meted out to an extra is itself very unfair. Avantika is a victim of her natural chemistry with KP, fans wanting them to see together and that Raman Mihika fake marriage track. Because of all these, many IshRa can not tolerate Avantika and comes up with influence/nepotism conspiracy theory. Where in reality, as the second lead Mihika, Avantika deserves more screen space than what she usually gets.
