Raman is shocked to hear this.

He slowly moves away thinking of all the past problems that have hit them.

Part 10

Raman is shaken after listening to Ishitha. He slowly moves away but wants to know her heart more. So decides to stay back.

Ishitha : Maine Ruhi ke liye shaadi ki thi Mani par sab ko apna maana. Par kya main kisi ki apni bani.. Kuch bhi ho pehle shak mujpe jaatha hain. Taane muje sunathe hain. Insult mera hota hain.. kyun ? kyun ki main baanj hoon. Arre shagun ne kya kya nahin kiya par phir bhi Raman usko surrogate mother banane ko ready ho gaye.. tab main toot gayi Mani.. Tab muje ehsas huwa ki Subbu theek keh raha tha.. Bachche hi ek shaadi ko bacha sakthe hain. Yahan to mera bacchha koi nahi hain na..

Mani : Ishu, purani baththe hain.. bhool jao..

Raman is once happy that Mani is doing the right thing by asking ishu to forget things.

Ishitha : kya boolun Mani.. yahin ki maine apna bachcha sabko bachathe bachathe ko diya par aaj bhi muje log baanj kehte hain. Kyun Mani? Bhallas ko chodo mere khud ke maa baap ne bhi mera saath nahi diya.. Jab main jail gayi thi tab bhi aur aaj bhi.. anaath ho gayi hoon Mani main bilkul anaath...

Raman is shattered hearing this. His madrasan who took everyone under her care and made everyone feel happy and special is feeling like an orphan.. this was a slap to him..

Ishitha : Jab Nidhi ruhi ko le gayi tab bhi muje doshi maana gaya. Arre Shagun ke jaane ke baad ruhi ko uski maa ke bare me patha thi par pihu to muje jaanthi bhi nahi thi.. kya main itni gayi guziri hoon.

Ishitha : Maanthi hoon goli lagi aur sab naaraaz the.. sahi bhi hain. Par kisi ne mujse baath thak nahin ki.. arre main adi se pyaar karthi hoon. Mujpe kya beethi hogi.. kisi ne socha..

Ishitha : Ab aur nahi Mani.. Main sab se door rehna chahthi hoon. Us din Adi ke aane ki kushi mein maine haan keh di par ab lagtha hain ki mera uss building mein shift hona sahi nahi rahega... Waise bachche mujse yahan aakar bhi mil sakthe hain na

Mani : Ah Ishu voh to theek hain par ek hi building mein rahegi to aasan ho jayega.. warna har roz travel mein hi waqt nikal jayega..

Kiran : Ishu, tumhari baath samjthi hoon. Par take your time... aur sochna hain soch lena.. Apni dil ki suno..

Raman is tensed that Ishu might change her decision. He is very upset but realizes now is the time to act. He knows if he goes in Ishitha will refuse to even listen to him. So he is confused. Then he realizes his kids are getting the house ready. He calls Adi

Raman : Adi , Ruhi tere saath hain ?

Adi : Haan Paapa, hum sab yahin hain. Ghar tayyar kar rahe hain?

Raman : Sunn, phone speaker pe daal

Adi is now on speaker.

Raman : Beta maine socha Ishitha se mil loon aur clinic aaya tha. Par yahan maine Ishitha, Mani aur Kiran ki bathe sunni.. Ishitha hamare building mein aane ke liye shayad tayyar nahi haini. Wo shayad na bolegi ab.. Usko patha nahi ki maine uski baathe suni.. Main andar jaoonga to gadbad ho jayegi. Tum aur Ruhi kuch kar.. Jaldi.. Main nahi chatha ki ishitha ko sochne ka mauka mile..

Adi : kya.. par kyun.. achanak kya huwa..

Raman : Beta main baad mein samjatha hoon. Ab jaldi kuch kar.

Ruhi : achcha theek hain papa. Aap pehle wahan se niklo.. Main aur bhaiya abhi clinic pahuncthe hain.

Raman is tensed and waiting for his kids tocome.

He goes back to the cabin and peeps in to see Ishitha still talking to Mani and Kiran.

Ishitha : Theek hain Mani.. main thoda waqt aur le lethi hoon sochne ke liye..

Mani : haan Ishu, tum bachcho se baath karo. Wo tumhari baath ko samjhenge. Unko samjane aur samajne ki koshish karo. Wo tumse duur rahe hain itne dain. To zahir si baath hain ki possessive honge.

Ishitha..: Hmmm.

Mani : accha baba kuch khaana manga lo.. bhook lagi hain..

Ishitha tried calling the canteen and just then Adi and Ruhi walk in

Adi : Arre ishima. Khaana order kar rahi hain. Tho hamare liye bhi kar lijiye.

Ishitha : tum dono yaha kya kar rahe ho

Ruhi : Arre Ishima, hum vo ghar ready kar rahe the.. sochcha aapse pooch le ki agar aapko specifically kuch chahiye tho vo bhi saath saath kar lenge. Nirvaan ko phone kiya.. usne bola ki vo aliya ko lekar yahan aa jayega.

Ishitha : vo main.. vo main.. hmmm

Adi and Ruhi immediately understood Raman's fear.

Ruhi : kya huwa Ishima.. boliye na.. sab tayyar kar denge. Hum to kab se wait kar rahe hain.. itne dino se aapke bina rahe he.. aap jaante hona ki maa ka saath kitna important hain.. ab aur nahi ishima.. maa ke hote huye hum bin maa ke kyu pale..

Raman realized Ruhi was hitting the right spot. Adi immediately barged in : Arre Roo, kya senti ho rahi hain.. Ishima ne vaada kiya hain to aayegi zaroor.

Mani and Kiran realized that Adi and Ruhi are scared that Ishitha will not come to the building.. So they want to help the children.

Mani : hmmm.. vaada kiya hai to ishitha todhthi nahin.. aayegi.. par ghar ready huwa ki nahi..

Adi : Sab ready hain appa. Infact parson subah ka muhurat bhi nikal diya hain patti ne.. Bas ishima ka aana baaki hain

Ishitha realizes that the kids need her and her scared of losing her.

Ishitha : theek hain.. jo hoga dekha jaayega.. main bhi vaada nibathi hoon aur tum log bhi apna vaada nibhao.Mani, Kiran, Thank you.. mere mushkil ko hal karne ke liye.

Raman is relieved that now his Madrasan will be in the same building.

He quickly moves from there.. he does not want to be caught and make it more awkward for everybody.

The drive to his house was filled with mixed emotions. He was happy that finally his kids convinced Ishitha to come home and sad that his Madrasan is feeling so lonely and left out. She has such a big family but she was right.. no one stood by her. He now wants her to understand what she means to each and every one in the family.

He goes home to and quickly goes around to inspect if everything is inorder.

He reaches his home and is welcomed by hisparents.

Toshi : Arre puttar, ishitha se milne gaya tha na.. baath huyi.. kaise hain who

Raman : Arre maa, poocho math.. aapki bahu ne to dara hi diya.. yahan aane ke liye soch rahi thi. Baahane doond rahi thi.. phir jaise thaise adi aur ruhi ne sambhal liya.

Bhallaji : aa rahi hain na vo

Raman : ha papa, parson. Amma ne kuch muhurtham nikala hain

They hear Adi's voice from behind : arre koi muhurtham nahi nikala.. uss waqt jo sooja bhol diya.. ab paati se jake situation ko sambhalna hain.

Raman : kya.. tumne hain vain bhol diya

Adi : aur nahin to kya papa. Aapne achanak se phone kiya.. hum kisi bhi keemat pe ishima ko chance nahi dena chahthe the.. issliye bol diya

Raman : bilkul badmaash ho gaya ho tum do no. Ab jao.. sach mein muhurtham nikal lena. Aur iss bhar kuch aise wali ki madrasan jald se jald 4 th floor se 1^st floor me aa jaye.

They all laugh and go inside.

The next day was a roller coaster ride for everyone. They are all making arrangements for ishitha to come. Each one wants to do something for her.

The next morning raman got up at 4 to ensure the house was ready. He had filled it with her favourite lilies.

They were all waiting for her to come. Pihu came running up saying : ishima ki gaadi aa gayi..

Toshi : Neelu zara aarthi ki thaal lana. Main apni bahu ka swagat karungi. Madhu tu bhi thaal pakad.

Raman is excited to see her walk in. She walks in with her children..

She steps in when Madhu and Toshi ask her to stand for aarthi

Ishitha : arre iski kya zaroorat hain

Toshi : Zarrorath hain puttar. Maana ki tum hamare saath nahi rahogi.. alag ghar mein rahogi par hum sab chahthe hain ki tum hamari zindagi mein waapis aao. Hum tume majboor nahi karenga puttar par hamari koshish to jaari rahegi.

Ishitha smiles meekly and nods her head. Toshi and Madhu take aarthi

Raman : Welcome ishitha

Ishitha just looks at them and Raman has his most charming smile for her.

Ishitha (ST) : Muruga, please give me strength to think rationally.

Raman (ST) : Matarani,, bus kuch bhi karke iss madrasan ko mere paas bhej dijiye.

All of them clap and she enters her apartment.
