Part 3
Ishita's servant comes there. She leaves the place & goes inside. The lady put the cloth in the bucket & takes it out but finds it with huge holes. Raman bangs the cloth so hard that the wall-clock falls on the ground & breaks. Both meet at the clock shop after their college & office hours.
Ishita: Hi Raman
Raman: Nalla irkya (Are you fine?)
Ishita: Means
While Raman tries to tell the meaning, all the clocks start making noise. Both of them get distracted.
Meanwhile, Vishwanath & Jagannath are discussing the problems
Vishwanath: I am fed of their food smell that Toshi is preparing. Sometimes, she prepares egg, sometimes fish & sometimes chicken.
Wile Jagannath was about to say something, Toshi storms in. She said, "If he wants to vacate the house he is free to do so. It will be a good riddance for me. But I won't change my way for these Madrasis. This is my house. I can do whatever I want."
Vishwanath: Look, how arrogant she is!
Both start arguing.
Raman & Ishita comes out of the shop. Raman plays the music. Ishita smiles.
Raman & Ishita are having a good time while their parents are fighting. Madhvi & Om Prakash drag their spouses inside.
Later, Ishita starts studying. She reads, "If you don't call rose as a rose, will it make any difference?"
Om Prakash: No it won't as it is not the name that matters but it is the character that matters. When you say I, it involves a lot of things like physical, mental, spiritual aspects. The name is only a label but it is the character that matters.
Ishita slowly goes off to sleep.
Om Prakash: Good night.
He goes to his room. Raman sees her from his window & switches off the light.
The next evening, Raman & Ishita meet the beach.
Ishita writes on the sand, "Raman + Ishita" = what?
Raman: I guess it is Ishra.
Ishita: Love is another name for Ishra.
Suddenly the sea waves come & erase the writing.
Raman: What has happened to this love?
Ishita: It got mixed with the mud.
Raman takes the mud & puts it in his pocket.
Both of them laugh & go inside the sand.
Suddenly Ishita screams.
Raman: What happened.
Ishita: khekda.
Raman: What is that?
Ishita: It means crab.
Raman sees the dog & gets startled.
Ishita: It won't do anything.
Raman: What if it thinks that I am the lamp-post?
Ishita laughs
Both come out of the sand & have a bath inside.
Ishita: Every time, you ask me Nallaa irkya. What does it mean?
Raman: Nalla irkya means are you fine.
Ishita: What do you say for I am fine?
Raman: Nalla irken
Ishita rehearses them.
As soon as they go home, Ishita sees her mother Toshi in the kitchen.
She said, "Mom, Nalla Irkya?"
Toshi gets shocked.
