IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CHOICES...9/21/17

Sorry for the delay ...I had to,rewatch a few scenes and edit ..so ..

The most beautiful and intense eposide..highlighting relationships..

I'm going straight to Ishra scene..the ultimatum

So raman gives her the ultimatum..a choice..to choose either him or ruhi .

The choice that should never be brought up by a husband and a father.

He in his rage and anger..never thought of anything..his ego..his impulsiveness clouded everything..and asked the unthinkable..to choose. Now these 2 are different entities ..and should never be compared as they both have their own place and respect in a couples life..a woman's life.

And she came back saying..you want me to choose between the 2 of you?..she couldn't believe it that its her Raman asking her this question. She was completely broken

I..you are asking me to decide between you and my daughter?..Choose one?

This is the ruhi...thru whom i met you, thru whom we came together ..and you asking me to choose between the 2..is that all our relationship is? that small/ negligible..the way she said this line...stupendous..brilliant..that tonal influx ..

And when she said all for this nikhil?..brilliant comeback line..an outsider..a nobody ...is that how small our relationship is?.that you want me to make a choice for that guy?...she valued their relationship not him...as its easy for him to break it as he wishes ...their relationship mattered nothing to him. She knew what place she holds in his life..this was a deal seal...she is nothing to him. She has no value in his life..

So she decided ok..if that's the case..here is my answer..

and trust me for a mother its always kids first..everybody else 2nd or 3rd..this doesnt mean they don't love or value them..its just that kids need parents support and guidance and love, as kids completely depend on their parents for everything in their life. So just as she was about to say her decision...symbolically there came a voice calling her ishima...pihu.. their daughter..who up until now was completely forgotten. Wondering if raman even thought of pihu..then realized..why would he..when it was shagun whom he made pihus mom in every sense.

Reality hit the couple...pihu

That kid kept asking questions and ishu gently spoke t her about her exam ad choice ...when that kid said multiple choice...ishu knew exactly what she had to do...

She chose her kids over Raman.

For the very first time..raman was in the receiving end today. He was a bit relieved when ishu said.."RAman no woman had to go through what shes going thru..that includes you..there's the empathy she had for him...for. A woman..its very simple , it's her husband..but for a mother ..it's always always her children"..brilliant answer..yes it is ..thats reality...it's NOT wrong at all. And walked away with her daughters in each arm for support as she was bleeding from stepping on glass..inside. . He never expected this at all. It's good in a way..now these 2 can rework on their relationship.

Bhallaji...a very patient man..most of the time mute..was bang on today..

He asked ruhi to go with their mother in and listen to her..respect her. and then turned to raman and said.."he ei ever behaved Dwight you i this way?..i have always very patiently sat down and talked to you explained to you..made you understand the situations better..and also allowed to to have your say..never forced my views or opinion on you'...wonderful advice to his son. But the best part of the advice was make your daughter understand your pov. Yes he too has had his moments..but only if it's gone to the extreme..

Ruhi...a troubled emotionally messed up teen...very rebellious..due to her suppressed feelings. What made her rebel more was none trusted her, talked to her, listened to her, .but kept accusing her for something she didn't do. She wants them to understand her when romi and ishu talked to her..she was very calmly listening and talking to them. This girl will not let down her parents. I bet if raman talks to her after things calmed down..and when he calmly explains it to her..this kid will understand. I did feel bad when she said "why don't you guys trust me?..do you really think i will slap romi chachu whom i like a father to me?"...that showed how devastated she was that even her dad misunderstood her. Her parents need lots of patience dealing with her and give her time...she needs it.

Raman...the concerned father, worried father for her future who doesn't want it ruined by some fool became a bit emotional and mellowed down when ruhi said do you think i will do this to chachu...coz he couldn't see his princesses tears. So he decided to console her and said.."I'm not you enemy..i just can't see your life ruined"..and his fear when amma pleaded with ruhi to promise her dad that she will never meet ruhil..her silence..was his worst fear..he knew is going to loose her ...and when she said why shouldn't i meet him?...he couldn't take it..so he tried to do the honors of throwing her out as he couldn't see his daughter's life ruined. AS a father i completely understand and agree with him. But the part i don't agree is him throwing her out...as he opted as escape mechanism rather than finding a solution. He is an escapist ...its been like that always, he simply doesn't want to handle problems. This is where ishita comes into play. As a husband he disappointed me ...is his and ishitas relationship never took off..yes...he has not past the ruhi ke liye at all.. was he shattered when ishita chose the kids..yes he was ..but he brought that upon himself..he was at the receiving end this time. I do not agreee with his way of implementing it.

When Ishita asked is that all our relationship is?,.this prompted me to think..she has moved on from ruhi ke liye..YES she has...NOT Raman...as their relationship has no value and ishta is nothing to him...that very ultimatum...that was it...the framework/ guideline/ restriction was Ruhi ...

Romi...the best character improvement...very calm..trying to handle situations ..his brother, ruhi, adi, ishita ...what a maturity in that character.

Ishita never supported ruhi.she doesn't want ruhi taking drastic and stupid decision and doesnt want a rebel ruhi..shes being very practical..

Pihu was the guardian angel today..the minute ishima came..I knew cvs are trying to crate the old ruhi feeling with pihu..

I loved it..very meaningful, beautiful, realistic situations faced by parents with teen kids.

Divan were amazing whAt a performance...wow...

Kp was good

But the episode belonged to DT..what a fantabulous performance ..take a bow lady.

Loved the dialogues ..very simple and powerful and intense lines.

Had old yhm feel..just a bit..

Raman as a father was brilliant and absolutely right but handled it the wrong way. His anger and blaming Ishitha was not right.
For once Mr bhalla had something to say.

Ishitha was wrong in not guiding Ruhi but in this scenario she was right. She just wanted raman to hear her out and talk things.

Don't understand why raman behaved that way in the precap. It was stupid
Liked romi in the episode. That character has come a long way and has been shaped well. Liked Kiran. She was not overdoing it.

Hi viji,
Iam waiting for ur review when I saw the episode. After sharam cold storage scene today I saw YHM in tv. Just because Divan. What a performance wow I totally loved it. Then once again prove that they are phenomenal actors.
Is there any rule that RD should only act with AH and not Divan. And what stupid camera angles BD of RD is clearly visible in the scene.
Actually I have a doubt before that CV's actually read comments and use them as their dialogue's because they don't have the talent to write dialogue's today I got confirmation that they are actually using fans comments because today what ever dialogue's Ishra used are comments of fans when they about Ishra.
CV's if u really reading comments u pls use the talent actors u have just once and write a track only for them and see the trps if u didn't get trps then next time u won't complaint or ask for Ishra track pls already once from starting of YHM there is not single track about them pls it's a request.
And coming to episode I actually didn't understand ishita regarding ruhi but I want her to be stick to her decession of leaving only for children at least then raman may understand everyone what ishita feels when he choose others over ishita. But in the precap I got my answer like everytime raman gets angry and show attitude and at last one sry without any heart to heart talk and ishita says no need for sry raman.
Ohhh I forgot how can CV's gives such scenes to Ishra those are reserved for aslimaa with her blank face and non existing blouse's.

Raman is both Right and Wrong at the same time

His Concern -Bang on like any father

His anger and going Ballistic-Wrong ..yesterday he said children will always remain children for the parents absolutely Right ..but he must remember the treatment meted out to them when they are say ten years old is very diffierent from how they should be treated when they are 15..16..17..18..19 the most destructive and scary phase for the parents ..

Now Ishita has suddenly become an enigma as a mother ..her words ..her actions are ambiguous ..she wants to confide in Ruhi about nikhils truth..now why she wants to do that iam not able to understand thats where ishus behaviour has disappointed me she did not support her statements with definite conclusive reasoning..which is strange coz we have always got to hear her ..but in this track as Ruhi ishimmaa she is not justifying her actions ..

but her gentle treatment at this phase with Ruhi is correct ..The parent is the ADULT here ..having a knee jerk reaction not permissible and when one parent is already doing it the other has to balance it out

Today we got Raman s PoV about why he was doing what he was .doing ..completely understandable ..but as they actions speak louder than words ..completely overshadowed his concerns

but Ishu -still didnt get her POV as a mother .. ..

her choosing Ruhi..completely ENDORSE

Ruhi is a troubled teenager ..a loose canon who has lost all sense of right and wrong on a self destructive path ..she is in such a stage that she doesnot need anyone to hurt her she will do it herself only..abandoning her at this stage is suicidal for the parents the misguided teen needs guidance big time..

and Ruhi as it is not a normal teen ..she has suffered a lot has seen a lot of abuse in this tender age ...we have to look at that fact also sympathetically..

and asking your spouse to choose is wrong in epic proportions Raman has no moral rights to ask her to choose ..hell he did that all the time ..even chose his EX over her for crying out loud...

It was very cruel of him but iam not surprised ..he has been brutally insenstive to her feelings

and taunting ishu about Ru upbringing so not done ,,agree Ishu as a mother has been lax and given in to her demands but about him...has he set an a good example ?he should ask himself this question ..do some introspection..

He Married her for Ruhi

Threw her out for Ruhi

Brought her back for Ruhi

Abused her for Ruhail

and Now again indirectly breaking his relationship for Ruhi..

He is the one setting the parameters in his relationship with his wife Ishu..and The Parameter Is RUHI

so Ruhi is the NEEV of their relationship and he has not moved on ..

Interestingly how easily he breaks his relationship with ishu without any moments hesitation and how easily he maintains his relationship with his ex without a moments hesitation

and the push god was so real...terrible ..ishu was hurt none bothered ..if it was shagun then...ishus aurat talk didnt impress me yesterday ..coz she is totally responsible for what is happening to her ..any self respecting woman would have left long long back

and Btw what was the precap for ..i guess he meant himself

to conclude both Raman and Ishita have failed as parents to nip the problem in the bud and now are fire fighting ..is it too late? ,,dont know ..and it seems he finally got to know how it feels to be rejected and not be the Chosen one

Ishu can never be a BAD MOTHER for me ...Period ..

and have to mention this Viji ..completely love the way you reply to differing view points ..calmly and respectfully ..🤗

Raman always chose Adi over Ishitha and he chose shagun also over Ishitha and now he wants Ishitha to choose. Not fair hope at least this track will end with a good long meaningful convo between ishra. Hope cvs don't end it with a stupid one minute now jhok scene and the track song.

what a brilliant episode... Brilliant acting... brillint background...This time its a emotional separation and not a physical one...
