Raman stopped his car near the clinic. Ishita lifted Ruhi in her arms and unlocked the car when Raman waved his hand at Ruhi saying, "Bye Rooh. But when Raman waved his hand, Ruhi played her card, she curled her lip and in next time she started crying.

"Now suddenly what happened with her? Ishita wondered while rocking her in her arms. But Raman knew his daughter more than her mother. He gets down from car and went to Ishita's side, he took little Ruhi in his arms and asked Ishita to get down. She looked at Raman confused.

"Raman.. Give her, you might get late for office. Ishita said forwarding her hands towards him.

"You didn't get her Ishita. Raman chuckled looking at Ruhi who already stopped crying. Your daughter is a big dramabaaz. Ishita looked at Ruhi who was playing with Raman's shirt.

"Haww..! papa ko rokne ka achha bahana hai. Ishita said poking on Ruhi's chubby cheek.

"Let's go. Raman said.

"But your office...

"I'll manage. Right now, nothing is more important than Rooh. Come..! Saying this Raman walked inside followed be Ishita.

They entered inside the doctor's cabin when Raman gets nervous as he saw other childs who were coming out from other cabins crying. Ishita saw sweats on his forehead and assured, "Don't worry Raman. My Rooh is strong. He gave her a fade smile and they walked inside.

"Doctor please, be careful. This is the fifth time Raman said to doctor when she was about to inject the syringe inside her body. Getting irritated, the doctor said, "Mr Bhalla agar ek aur baar aap aise kaha toh mein aapko bahar kar dungi iss cabin se.

"Raman..! Ishita glared at him.

"She's a kid yaar. Ishita sighed and asked doctor to continue. The doctor then inject the syringe when Raman immediately placed his hand on Ishita's. But to his surprise, little Ruhi didn't cried, she was chuckling looking at Raman.

"Mr Bhalla, mujhe toh lagta hai Ruhi nahi aap bachhe hai. The doctor said looking at Raman's hand which was still on hers, noticing her look, Raman moved his and from hers. "God knows how do you handle both of them Mrs Bhalla. The doctor chuckled making ishra embarrassed.

Raman looked at Ruhi and took her in his arms when doctor said, "Mrs Bhalla yeh ek high doze vaccination tha toh shayad Ruhi ko fever aasakta hai but please don't get panic. I am prescribing you one medicine, if her health gets worse, give her. Kal subha tak theek ho jayegi. The doctor prescribed her the medicine and then ishra look leave along with Ruhi.

After that Raman dropped them at house and left or his office. Ishita walked in house when Toshiji said, "Puttar.. Sab theek hai na?

"Jee mummyji.

"Usse jakar sula de. Giving a nod to her, Ishita left.

In the evening, Raman walked in room tired and saw Toshiji and Ishita both were busy in pampering Ruhi who was crying vigorously. "Maa? Ishita? Why is Ruhi crying?

"Don't know puttar. Since noon, she was crying. Toshiji said.

"What? And you both didn't bother to inform me.. He said glaring at Ishita and then lifted Ruhi in his arms. "Kya hua Rooh? He looked at Ishita asking, "Did you call the doctor?

"Raman, aisa bachho ke sath kabhi kabhi hota hai. Aaj ek vaccination doze diya gaya hai toh shayad hatho mein dard hai. Tu use mujhe de.. Kitni baar kaha hai bahar se aate hi aise godi mein mat liya kar. Toshiji chided taking Ruhi from him and started rocking her.

"Ishita puttar, mein Ruhi ko mere kamre mein le ja rahi hoon. Shayad kahi aur jakar uska mann behel jaye.

"Jee mummyji. Saying this Toshiji left with Ruhi when Ishita forwarded towel to him saying, "You get fresh. I'll make a coffee for you.

"Thanks. Saying this both left the room.

After some time, Ishita walked in room and saw Raman has fallen sleep. "Raman? She called in low voice but he didn't response to her so she kept the coffee aside and started collecting Ruhi's toys which spread on the bed, Ishita was busy in works when she saw some movement of Raman's, she saw him sleeping in discomfort, she looked at the AC temperature and switched it off as the room was chilled, she then walked to him and covered him with the duvet when Raman turned aside holding Ishita's hand near to his chest, she looked at him shocked but saw him sleeping peacefully. Ishita struggled to free her hand when she heard Toshiji walked in calling her and her voice broke Raman's sleep, he opened his eyes and saw Ishita so close to him, he gets lost in her eyes when again he heard toshiji calling, so he immediately left her hand and gets up in sitting position.

"Ishita puttar, Ruhi is sleeping in my room, you both have your dinner and then take her from my room okay? Saying this she left the room when ishra looked at each other, there was an awkward moment for both of them.

"Ugh Ishita I... But before Raman could initiate a conversation Ishita said, "Raman, I am serving your dinner. Come down fast. Saying this she left the room.

Ishita walked in room and started crying. "Yeh galat hai. I can't betray Rihaan. Mein kaise Raman.. She remembered their cosy moments. "No.. No.. I have to maintain a distance from him. This marriage is just a compromise, nothing else..! She was lost in her thoughts when she heard family members came in dinning hall, so she wiped her tears and engaged in her work.

After having dinner, Raman went to his room whereas Ishita helped toshiji in the kitchen, then after finishing her works, she came in room with sleeping Ruhi in her arms, as soon as she entered her eyes met with Raman's, but he was the one who looked away first. Ishita then placed Ruhi on the bed and went to change. After a while, she came and saw Raman standing at the window side. Hearing her footsteps, he turned but saw her busy in her works when he called her saying, "Ishita.. I am sorry. I was in sleep, I don't know how I did that.. I extremely sorry.

Ishita looked at him saying, "It's okay Raman. She then looked at Ruhi and saw some movement, so they didn't initiate the conversation longer, Raman went to sofa whereas Ishita settled beside Ruhi. Raman turned on the dim lights when she said, "Raman if you want, you can turn on the lights.

"No, its okay. I'll manage, you sleep. He gave her assuring smile and engrossed in his work.

Around 1am, suddenly Ruhi started crying which broke Ishita's sleep, she saw Raman was rocking her in his arm while pacing in the room and trying to made her sleep. "Raman? Kya hua? Why is she crying?

"I don't know. He said placing her beside ishita when she checked her body and realized she has fever. "Raman Ruhi ko bukhar hai.

"Doctor ne bhi kaha tha..!

Ishita nodded and was going to gets down from bed when Raman asked, "Where are you going? Do you need something?

"Can you please pass the syrup? She asked.

"Yeah. Saying this he gave the bottle to her and Ishita fed the syrup to Ruhi and made her sleep. She then looked at Raman who was pacing restlessly. "Raman don't worry. She's fine. He nodded and settled other side of Ruhi, he kissed on her forehead.

Next day, Raman woke up little late and first he looked at the bed to see Ruhi but there he didn't find her. He suddenly gets worried and gets up with a jerk and left the room, he walked down and saw her sitting on sofa with Mr Bhalla. He relieved seeing her.

"Raman your coffee. Ishita forwarded him when he asked, "How's she?

"Much better.

"But still today yo should visit the doctor once. He suggested.

"Okay. She smiled and left.

Raman then came in his room and directly went to take shower, after taking shower, he walked out and saw this cloths were laying on the bed, he changed into them and walked down and saw Mr Khurana was sitting with Mr Bhalla.

"Uncle you.. He smiled at him and took blessings.

"How are you Raman?

"I'm fine. But you are here so early? Is everything alright? He asked worried.

"Yeah absolutely. Actually I came here to take Ruhi and Ishita. Actually Raman Ruhi completes six months so I want to organise her Annaprashan ceremony. Mr Khurana said.

"Mr Khurana.. That's really nice of you but can we organise it here at our place. Actually many of our guests aren't see Ruhi yet so..!! Mr bhalla said hesitated.

Raman was sitting there silent but once his father finished he said, "No papa.. That ceremony will take place at their house. Uncle is her grandpa and that house is her father's house, so it's final the ceremony will take place there. Raman stated making Mr Khurana and Ishita happy.

"Ishita go and pack both of your bags. Raman said looking at her when she nodded and left with Ruhi.

Raman was also going to leave when Mr Khurana stopped him, "Yes uncle?

"Raman, you didn't adopt Ruhi legally yet?

Raman didn't say anything. "Why? Raman, jabse Ruhi dunia mein ayi hai woh tumpe papa samajhti hai. Then why didn't you adopt her legally? Kya tum use apni beti.. But he paused as Raman said, "Uncle please don't say like that. Haan meine socha tha but Ishita kya sochegi yehi soch kar kabhi woh kadam uthaya nahi.

"Ishita kyu kuch sochegi? Now you are her husband and legally you have rights on Ruhi too..

"I understand uncle.

"Raman mein nahi chahta future mein kabhi yeh sach Ruhi ke samne aye ki tum uske biological father nahi ho and that's why I am saying all this to you. Mr Khurana explained.

"Okay uncle, I'll talk with ishita, if she agreed then only I'll consult with my lawyer.

"If you want then I can talk with her. I know she won't deny it.

"No uncle. I'll talk with her once she return from your house.

"Okay. Mr khurana said patting on Raman's shoulder.

Just then Raman saw Ishita climbed down the stairs with luggage in one hand and carrying Ruhi in other hand. He walked to her and took the luggage from her hand.

"Raman I cleared the bed, so you don't need to sleep on the couch these days. She said with a smile but he didn't give any attention to her as he was looking at his princess only.

Raman forwarded his hand asking, "May I? Ishita handed Ruhi to him when Raman kissed on her cheek saying, "Papa will miss you Rooh.

Ruhi also ran her tiny palm on Raman's cheek indicating she too will miss him, he hugged her when everyone looked at father-daughter with awful eyes. After that he escorted them to the door.

"If you need anything, call me okay? Raman said to Ishita before she gets inside the car. "And take care of Ruhi and... He paused and then said, "And yourself.

"You too..! She smiled and gets inside and left from Bhalla house.
