It was a good episode. I liked the talk between Mrs. Iyer and Raman but I really failed to understand his irritation when Ishita's name was mentioned. I don't think he understood what Mrs. Iyer was saying. If he already realized Shagun is creating the problems then why not let Ishita handle it instead of asking her to back down. Once again in the room he still failed to understand her and his lame covering up for Adi and Alia is stupid. She raised alia for 7 years and Alia is fearful of Ishita? And Adi too? So, they believed that Ishita would say no for their date. Whatever gave that idea to them? And Raman over and over asking her to let go of Adi.. is he putting himself in Adi shoes during his marriage to Shagun and reliving those moments and thinking that Ishita is as meddling as Mrs. Bhalla? Hence he is justifying Adi and Alu. It is lamest to say the least. Instead of Raman correcting the behavior of Adi and Alu he is supporting them and blaming Ishita because he wants to be the coolest sasur in front of Alia just like he never disciplined his kids for the fear of them not liking him.
The mil/ sil--- talk was nice..but he didn't get it, he was like what now? You are right he was irritated with her. He should've spoken to aadiliya too and the next morning convo at the dining table..the minute he said pacify ishita.,I knew..he never got the depth of the whole situation..and from where the kids felt that ishita will not let them Go on a date?...no idea...why will kids hide from parents ?..fear, parents rebuking them, not of importance ( the parent)no need to share or inform..unworthy ...coming to knjw thru a 3rd person..is what's that's hurting her the most...
The interaction between Alia, Adi and Ishita was up to the point and it clearly shows the hurt of the mother. I don't think Adi understood it just like his Papa and I am happy to see Ishita not giving in. People can be kind but once in a while they need to show the teeth. And once again at the dining table Raman made it all a joke by comparing Ishita with Nirupa Roy. She is not sulking or attention seeking. She is hurt with the lack of understanding of her family and them looking her thru the glasses of meddling or possessive or jealous or interfering person. That alienation by her husband and kids is hurting her more than anything.
This scene was very crisp and to the point...no apologies from aadiliya..they all think she's angry and that's nothing new...and I liked how ishita clearly said...she's going to live her life and they live theirs...straight to,the point..no nonsense lines at all...None of them understood the enormity ...this nok jhok..is seriously getting on my nerves now...it's becoming distasteful . @ bold...that's the core issue...that's bothering her a lot...
I just loved how Karma made a visit to Raman's office and served him right in the form of a client. But with that 2 minute interaction his ego got bruised and he ran to Ishita to get his morale to be boosted back. So that he can be the same insensitive person that he has been with her since Adi got married.
Raji ..he was hurt and left to meet ishita...just like accident track were he will ask her to be his strength ..ok he's hurt he went there t be consoled by biwi..so where will biwi go? Will he realize..how harsh and insensitive he has been and decide to boost her confidence, her morale and be the rock she needs,,her shoulder to cry and lean on ? Can we see that...will that realization hit him..how badly she's hurt ...idk.
Precap shows how Ishita is always understanding and never hurting him and became a pillar of support for him. I was expecting something like this his visit to his biwi's workplace just like it happened in the accident track but never this soon. But once again just like that time it was all about his hurt I am sure this time too he will only make it as his hurt and nothing from her POV will even be considered. Can't wait for tomorrow.
Raman should thank his lucky stars for having such a wonderful and understanding wife like ishita...she immediately knew he was hurt and I dialed him and boosted his confidence...setting her pain aside...she forgot everything and was there for him..consoling him like a baby ...raji I'm very sure its only about his hurt...his realization Will be very late ...he may think biwi is all fine and it's all back to normal..but that's not the case..she will be still hurting...and that's gonna piss him for even more...
And looks like the burnt prashad is going to create a havoc in their house and the blame will be squarely placed on Ishita I guess. Tomorrow Alia ki mamma might make an entry to wreck their lives once again. Probably Raman will press his "mute button so that Shagun can abuse and accuse Ishita all she want.
Oh yeah ...it will be ordered in ...raman will help Aaliya...I will not be surprised if the call comes right in the middle of their convo...he will hide or aaliya will,say she doesn't want to make amma angry and it will be taken care of her fil...It might happen as you said...mute button...and as usual everyone will go on mute mode...lets c how it unfolds tomorrow
