His tongue - The only reason, people are not able to empathise & sympathise with Raman. But does that take away the mental agony, the hurt, the guilt, the loneliness that this man has been through all these years. Does that take away the immense love and affection this man has for his wife & kids ? I definitely don't think so. Infact Ishita has been the very reason for his existence and the moment she was assumed dead, this man ceased to exist. He was a dead man, just breathing all these years.

His pain, his desperation to have both his angles back in his life, his fear of losing them again from his life is so well depicted. It was actually very painful to read , yet very beautiful. I had tears in my eyes. Every "one last time" was so touching Pb. Something we would never get to see in the show.

I would like to see what Ishita feels from within for Raman and a proper confrontation between IshRa, where they share with each other the pain, the angst and the void these people have felt in their life in these years and how they resolve them , put them behind and move forward.

After all, IshRa being perfect for each other in their imperfections, is what make them special and their love so unique and powerful.

Loved it Pb. Waiting for the next part 😊.

@bold. .that's precisely the motivation or push to want to write this piece..now I am kind of certain we will never see it onscreen..so was trying to live out a wish.. to see that raman bhalla..the man cvs chose not to show us..🥱

@red uhmmm..I am not sure I will go into a confrontation and talks in this piece re..it's a short drabble of the last moments of raman .. and the last moments of IshRa...that I wanted to pen..no silver linings to this tale😊

Happy because you explored Raman, and with so much poignance ❤️ Sad to go through his state of mind 😭 We're never going to get a detailed focus on Raman's predicaments or his feelings in the show, this was such an intense read.

His world that had crumbled 7 years ago, was starting to rejoin again, before this scene actually crushed his heart and how!

He's my favorite character and it hurts me to see him butchered so much, without any explanation. Your story is an unsaid insight into his mind and heart and I can't wait to read more 😃
