Makes perfect sense Swati. I was also thinking of the same. When I was thinking of why Ruhi would have asked for IshRa marriage, the following thought struck my mind :-

I still consider Ruhi as a matured kid who knows the difference between good and bad. Ruhi has seen the growing insecurities in Shagun and her using Pihu as a pawn to manipulate things in her favour. So having seen this, it might be Ruhi's plan to put forth this condition with the expectation that IshRa talk things out to each other, clear their differences and marry for her sake. Only if this happens, then they can work together towards disclosing about Ishita to Pihu. I agree Pihu will be shocked with these developments. But just that Ruhi might have taken this step to atleast initiate something to clear the whole mess, because having seen that shagun has not changed in these 7 years, despite her being with Bhallas and bringing up Pihu, Ruhi might have thought that delaying things would only make the situation worse for Pihu, as Shagun might poison her mind against IshRa and the family again for her selfish needs.

Just my opinion, do not know if it makes sense.

ishra are declaring their marriage is not valid anymore but then they are fighting ruhi's custody as mr. and mrs bhalla😲 and no one not even the judge or nidhi questioning that...ruhi addresses ishita as ishita bhalla in front of judge but calls her as ishita iyer outside( in her birthday party also she called ishita as ishita iyer).
