So surrogacy was started behind Ishita's back by her husband with the help of his ex wife who was readily available to lend her fertile womb for her ex husband's current wife. Because Raman felt Ishita needed to experience motherhood 🤔
And now Ishita's Jiju and her bestfriend-turned-suitor-friendzoned Mani decided to file for Ishita's biological child from whom she's been estranged since her birth, behind Ishita's back because they feel that will give Ishita some meaning to her life. And before Raman, Mihir comes to know about it

A son just randomly goes to the police station to complain about his father abusing his mother.

So it seems like Ishita has been reduced from a girl who tried to apply for adoption as a single woman has become so abala that everyone else seems to know what's good for her and doesn't seem necessary to seek her consent before trying to gift her with their 'benevolence' .

Wonderful set up .. All paths leading to an unnecessary custody battle which the father and the mother cannot fight being in their current marital status... So wedding bells anyone? Twin weddings.. But this time no cultural conflict: punjabi and tamilian wedding but two sets of prospective couple too.

Only predictable outcome ? Shagun is back to wearing airy blouses( based on offscreen Insta pics) because as you know each shade of Shagun should come with her matching wardrobe .. If all the superheroes can have that why can't Shagun the super chameleon of YHM ? After all she's the center of gravity of the creatives' universe.:

Surrogacy track( fertile womb) ->bhoot track(protect fertile womb)->leap(separate trio to enable Pihu-Shagun bond)->post leap( custody battle for asli maa) .. See the common denominator?

1st track Raman butchered, then Ishita.., then Raman butchered beyond recognition for leap.. Post leap both butchered .. The show that proclaims mohabbatein has all but been reduced to one about nafratein

And while I still don't support Raman's choice of words... Just put yourself in his shoes... His son has chosen to take Ishita's side consistently since she's back, and now out of the blue he hears Ishita is filing for Pihu's custody. And she seems to have moved on with Mani... What would you have done to protect your lifeline: Pihu?

Note: please stick to characters ...No actor bashing or character name calling please.. Let us debate respectfully

Sad Part, the arc is sold on the hopes and manipulations of showing , eventually, Ishita as the "brave woman", the woman who endured and won in the garbs of feminism . Where the real essence of feminism is so brutally compromised with her choices taken away and worse she is not emoting about this HUGE loss. She is not aware, non-responsive towards it. Ishita ,from noun to Ishita, the verb.
Raman is a character they stopped writing and working for ages back. He is the one who they place in the center and revolve a plot around with an end game of Ishita , the good , winning over the bad, whoever that might be.

His tone is bad. Words are bitter. Yet, take it all off, and you do see , he has a big point. Wife could have left him, but she keft her new born baby too. He has lost one child . Another one puts him in jail even after he rescued him from hi own jail term?
No communication.
Nobody to shake him up from this haze. He is allowed to play janwar coz it sells and coz, what else is there for him to do?

His words then were pathetic and she attempted suicide...did he abet it? All these years he probably struggled with it, yet now ..she is with Mani..a call, letter, text...nothing. Not to him but to his child?

Nice post gan
Just for Shagun cvs can do anything.
I don't get it why people try to interfere in ishra's matter.
I can understand raman's fear.he already lost her daughter and her madrasan , he can't afford to loose pihu bcoz she is his lifeline.Today whatever adi did was wrong according to me , this is not a right way.
I don't want this custody drama bcoz it will increase distances between ishra.

I can't tell whose story this is 🤪

It's funny - the only time Raman independently without Ishita involved Shagun in their lives was surrogacy & now this crap

Lord we can't get the ML's POV, the FL's active stance, but we get changing shades with Shagun & boredom with Mani

Whose mohobattein is this? A parent and kids? A couple? Exes? Besties? Families? Idk 😆

And about Raman's rage fest - now his OTT crap in the hospital makes sense bc he knows about custody but Ishita doesn't. What is up with people thinking they know what's best for XYZ?

Also I have read that Raman loves Pihu bc she looks like Ruhi and that they are aggrevated by asli ma...but didn't Raman in the car with Pihu think "no wonder Pihu feels a connection to Ishita bc she is Pihu's ASLI ma?"

Khair whatever - I look forward to the day Raman's POV comes out & Ishita makes a stance to just her husband on her own (not just to trigger custody battle/Shagun-Raman shaadi nonsense)

Waise what's gonna get uglier about this custody battle is that Ishita stands up for herself to Raman maybe without realizing custody paper work as been filed and that too after Raman almost beats Mani...so even more MUs 👎🏼

I believe ishita will win pihu custody or pihu will find truth will chose ishita over raman than only more drama can created diffently ashok & nidhi will take advantage of this case

pihu custody to create more misunderstanding or could lead to clear misunderstanding depends on yhm cvs

if ishita lose pihu custody than no drama

Very well put! The cvs on their mission to highlight Raman's status as a 'janwar' are compromising their FL too but that gets overlooked because of the barrage of OLVs, news byte released with the bitter , uncouth phrases uttered again and again to a point it leaves an impression in your mind.

I am a feminist but I'm not anti-men and don't believe you need to pull one gender down to establish the superiority or equality of the other gender in any way.

Why would Ishita on her own fight for Pihu's custody? Has she made any indication? There may be a case but the end will be her declining for Raman's sake.

Even with the case - both have horrible cases to claim Pihu. Raman for his anger & recent jail stint. Ishita for leaving for 7 years and never looking back. Both for losing Ruhi.

When speaking with Mani - she said she wanted to calm Raman down for the sake of their families and kids & taking Pihu's custody will defeat that.

I also don't think Pihu would out right chose Ishita over Raman - she is their daughter so she will try to unite them with Adi & will be more successful bc she has the most sway over Raman!

Isn't that the irony - in this pseudo-feminism both men and women are shackled and held back in different ways. Men told their emotions don't matter and that they are essentially janwars needing to be tamed. Women for being told it's their job to take everything in strides - no matter how bad it gets, if you stick with it - you persevere.

You can't raise one group by putting another down bc all you do is hurt your own cause
