Why is it only the female actors have to go through the torturous intense scenes

What's even more dandy is KP gets paid more per episode than both ladies. KP deserves each rupee he earns, but DT & AH clearly have been carrying this track with screen time & stunts.

Now for an industry that "celebrates" women - why don't the FLs of YHM get paid comparably to the ML?

And what's even funnier is that these pay checks are under the supervision of a FEMALE run production house.

Talk about the amazing equality of desi TV, which is run by female-driven PHs - on screen it's all about the perfect, self righteous, sacrificing, suffering (super)women, but off screen they don't compensate the women equally? Like excuse me?

On screen "women's empowerment" is a total disgusting joke & clearly off screen they don't bother to narrow the pay gap.

And maybe for everyone's sake - they could also give KP some actual substance to his role & this track...I mean he's being paid the big bucks so pity the viewers & his talent and give him more to do!

The 'pat' reply to this would be that we give them the option that stunts be played by a double but they wish to do it themselves.

Such a pity though, na?

And in theory MLs can be more easily replaced bc they aren't the face of the show. But if DT was no longer Ishita - YHM loses its brand recognition bc she's the marketing point as all desi soaps are about their FL.

It's such a weird industry. They could easily give KP more stunts or substance without taking away from the FL-centric show they wish to share with the world. This way DT could get an ounce of a break too bc that girls goes non-stop & thanks to the nature of the show now, without Ishita YHM dies.
