Recap:Ishita left the house after writing a note.Raman felt lost in his life and he had reduced his interactions with everyone I'm the house and only talked with Ruhi and Adi.
Part 2
Days were passing like hell for Raman as he felt incomplete without her.Everyday he tried searching for her but to no avail.
After about 1 month or so,after the kids had gone to school and as he was about to leave the office after getting ready,Pathak came to the house.
R-Pathak,you...here...this time what happened..shagun's formality papers are done right...any problem?
P - Before replying to ant of your questions,I want you to meet someone
As he pointed towards the door,Ishita entered looking quite weak but with some sort of pride on the face.
Raman froze seeing her enter the house.He could not believe that the woman whom he was searching for since the last few weeks was standing in front of him and he stood there speechless.
R-Ishita...
I-Raman,before you say or ask me something and before I say anything,I want you to meet someone.
Hearing Ishita's voice,the full Bhalla and Iyer clan gathered in the living room and looked with questioning eyes.

What everyone saw next was nothing short of a huge shock and Raman stood rooted on his spot looking in disbelief.
Acp abhishek entered the house with Dr.Manoj and Shagun...
Amma managed to blurt out something as others still were trying to digest what they were seeing.

I-Yes Mihir,that is the truth.The person you all are seeing is Shagun and she did not die.I met her in Mumbai...

He managed to say after a long time.
I-This is what happened..
As she began to tell the story of her last 1 month.
I-The day I left the house I immediately left Delhi and landed in Mumbai,at one of my friends house.The same day later I called one of my psychiatrist friend Dr.Anjali.I explained to her all the weird happenings of the past few weeks to her and then met her in person,when she did a thorough checkup of mine she told me I had gone into depression and there was nothing that had possessed me or anything.The biggest thing which she told me was that I was under the effect of hallucinogens,which had severely affected my mind,so much that I had started behaving as Shagun,copying her mannerisms,her habits,everything and I started to harm everybody.Dr.Anita's medicines were of no use to me thats why I underwent a treatment of 10 days under Dr.Anjali's guidance.After which she did did a checkup and found me to be perfectly normal.
She paused and continued after catching her breath.
Then on one day,she and I were just roaming around in the city and saw her by chance.Firstly I didn't believe what I saw and thought that it was my imagination but then Anjali told me isn't she the one whose death affected you,then I saw that it was really her and not my imagination.When I followed them secretly I heard their conversation and understood their full plan.
R-What plan?
I-Let me tell from the beginning.
After I had the miscarriage and you all hired the other surrogate mother,the surrogacy scam in Dr. Manoj's clinic was revealed.Shagun had actually come to the clinic as a part of the NGO's plan to expose the scam which she had information of but didn't know any details.
Now since they were good friends and had started liking each other,manoj tried to save himself by agreeing to do whatever shagun wants and that when shagun voluntarily chose to be the surrogate mother. She wanted to get closer with you and eventually get back with you as she knew that after knowing about her being the surrogate mother,I would definitely be very angry and upset with you and maybe even leave you.Thats why she did all this and I don't know if she pregnant at all also or no.
Then with all the drama where she lived,she came into her house trying to take my place but unfortunately for her I believed you (Raman),that's when she played the next trick and attempted to jump off from the building,now here is the catch.
She paused and sipped little water as the others waited with bated breath for her to continue.
I-She jumped off the building and when we all went down,we saw blood flowing from her head,when we checked her pulse ,it wasnt there and we thought she had died when actually she had taken a pill which had slowed her pulse so much that we thought that it wasn't there.Now since then whatever I had eaten had some amount of hallucinogens in it and being the only witness of seeing her jump off from the building and seeing her so called death with my eyes,I was severely affected and pained by seeing the mother of my kids take such a drastic step.In the funeral and the days that followed,the effect deepened and I saw her images,which led me to do all the things that I did.My copying of her walking,her style,her mannerisms,her flings,her habits...everything which I did was the effect of high dosages of the hallucinogens.Thankfully I went to Mumbai and got myself treated before my condition worsened...and before I harmed anyone any more.
Her whole intention to get even with me which kind of succeeded to some extent.
Raman looked with a feeling of disgust towards Shagun and Dr.Manoj.
I-Her idea actually worked,as in the beginning,her closeness with him did hurt me but our love for each overpowered everything.Then as the days past her so called death,because of my violent actions and behaviour,my family also started drifting apart which led me to take that decision and I couldn't have been any happier and right about it as it was The Right Decision.
Raman came forward and took Ishita in a side hug as he walked towards Dr.Manoj and Shagun...
R-I didn't expect you both to steep so low.To save yourself(looked towards Dr.Manoj) and to take your revenge (looked towards Shagun),you played with my feelings.
He tried to fight his tears as Ishita comforted him.
R - Shagun, you never changed and will never change.I should have known that.I got carried away.You know sometime before I used to think what made you leave me but you don't know how happy I am because you left me,I got a beautiful angel in my life in the form of Ishita who changed my life.
I still don't understand why I believed you,helped you...
Shagun tried to intervene...
S-Raman,I know I was wrong,please forgive me...please...I just wanted you back in my life.
I-Shagun, remember that you are just my kids mother now and whatever place you had in his life is no more yours.You are his past and I am his present and future and till I am there,you cannot harm him...and as for taking my place,you should have thought before leaving such a warm hearted person.
S-Ishita...one minute...
Raman please atleast please listen to me as a friend.
R-Please just leave...I don't want to talk to both of you now,so please...
As they left,shagun tried to talk to him but he was in no mood to listen as he left to his room
Ishita went behind him.
