KP, DT and AH are affiliated to the same management which charges 20-30% of their fees as cost.

TV actors pay 12.36% taxes on their earnings on programmes and endorsements.

Let's take DT. Assuming the highest figure.

Her event pay is 10 lakhs. Management charges 30% which is 3 lakhs. Then come the taxes which are 123600. How much does she get so far? 576400. 5.7 lakhs. Then there is her staff to pay from her own pocket.

Her TV pay is 1 lakh. Management takes 30% which is 30k. Taxes take 12360. How much does she get? 57640. 57k. And then there's her staff to pay.

So technically her annual salary (365 days) she gets from YHM is 21038600 which is 210.386 lakhs or 2.1 crores. And per month if she works 30 days is 1729200. 17.2 lakhs.

At the cost of freedom, judgement, hate and the complex nature of the industry; is it really worth it?

About DT, it's a wonder how she managed to crack a good deal with YHM for she really had no brand value post Dulhan.

Yeah, I normally speak for her but take it from me, she herself said that she herself was warned against doing comedy coz it would ruin her brand value. And almost five years of trashy shows followed by two failed shows on a below par channel; whatever hardship she faced for Dulhann looking at it now it was her saving grace.

DT didn't attend any events in Delhi, that's her travel route.
