TFS..These Amounts of 80k-1 Lac is per episode , though the amount looks huge..it is rightly deserved to all artist..not just Divyanka tripathi & Karan Patel...

1) These amounts are govern by contracts (monitored by CINTA), here they can be payed for a days work or per episode or a monthly sum (normally its per episode--here main thing to note is a episode can consists even 2-3 days of shoot, or it can be paid day wise)

2) so if we count on a average 28 episodes then for KP & DIVZ it will be 28 lac per months & 3.36 crore per year ---also there is tax deduction & other fees.

3) Though the sum looks huge ..point to note is the artist work day/night ..sometimes for 16-24 hour shoot. & sometimes also full week/month without off. which effects their health most times

4) Very important point is a TV or Cinema artist shelf life is limited , most of the times depend on popularity, when they are most popular they get to work as Lead actors are paid handsomely, but once this popularity gets over..they are reduce to supporting or negative character or do episodic like savdaan india, crime patrol, comedy night & others

5) Some times luck plays a great part of the success of TV stars --some make it big like KP & DT and some struggle..note KP & DT also had to struggle lot...Also the TV starts have to sacrifice a lot in terms of creativity & freedom, sometimes they have to do things they dont like...eg of stars stuck to same show for 7-8 years, doing meaningless stuff for TRP & make a joke of themselves by entering comedy shows & reality shows are common

6) One good thing about television money is now even Old or Flop movie stars have turned to TV industry & also lot of entertainment channels have opened...thus give more opportunity to struggling artists

The ones who are experienced or involved with the show form the beginning get higher paycheck. I didn't mention "per episode", rather I wrote "per day" because unlike leads their remuneration is not fixed. I mean PH follows no work no pay. That's why if their screen space is reduced, they lose remuneration too.
