Chapter 1

India, 8AM

The sun rays peeped inside the room through a thin curtain and directly fall on a milky skin, she moved and adjusted on the other side, and within a single moment she again drifted in sleep. Her alarm rang on the mobile but she was too lazy to wake up, she just swiped the screen and slept. But her beautiful sleep was again disturbed by the phone call, this time she slowly opened her eyes lazily and looked at the screen, which showed 'Mihir calling...' She jumped on bed, she checked the clock, it was almost 8:15AM.

Ishita: I am sleeping till now!!

She cursed herself for sleeping too late, she saw her phone was continuously ringing, without any option she answered.

Ishita: Yes Mihir say!!

Mihir: Miss. Ishita agar aapki ankhe khul gai ho toh zara time dekh lijiye!! 9baaj wo meeting hai aur aapko wo presentation ko represent karna hai, yaad hai na?

Ishita: Haan Mihir!! Mujhe yaad hai. I will be therethere soon.

She hang up the call and quickly went to was room, after taking bath she walked out wearing blue salwaar, she just qquickly brushed her hair and came out in the hall.

Amma: Ishu you slept so long today!!

Ishita just interrupted her saying: Amma!! I will talk with you later. Just serve me the breakfast now.

Ishita took a sit at table but again her phone ringsrings, it was Mihir again.

Ishita loudly said: Amma!! Leave it. I will have it in office.

She took leave as soon as she could.

Office

Ishita walked in the conference room huffing, but she didn't find anyone there when she was going to get out when Mihir walked in.

Ishita: Mihir I am sorry. I am late but where is the meeting?

Mihir saw her huffing, so he made her sit and gave her water.

Mihir: Relax!! Meeting is postponed.

Ishita: What? But why?

Mihir: Wo... Actually the clients wants to meet with bhai first.

Ishita asked confuse: Bhai means Raman sir?

Mihir: Yes!! As he is the New MD of this company so they first wantwant to introduced with him. After that they will work with us.

Ishita: And when your boss is coming?

Mihir chuckled: Well not my!! He is my friend but yes!! Your boss.

Ishita: Yeah yeah!! Okay. But when he is coming?

Mihir: I didn't inform him yet.

Ishita: Waise tumne mujhe pehle kyu nehi meeting nehi hai, phir mein itni jaldi nehi aati.

Mihir: Shayad aap bhool rahi hai, meine aapko phone kia that!! Par aap receive nehi ki..

Ishita nodded and they went back to their respective works.

Evening

As soon as Ishita walked inside the society, she saw Toshiji was sitting on the bench, her eyes were wet, face was pale, Ishita could guess she was crying, she walked to her.

Ishita: Toshi aunty.

Hearing Ishita's voice, she quickly wiped her tears and brought a smile on her face.

Toshiji: Arey puttar tu kab ayi?

Ishita took a sit next to her and looked into her eyes.

Toshiji: Aise kiya dekh rahi hai?

Ishita: Dekh rahi hoon ki kitni asani se aap apne dukh ko chupa rahi ho.

Toshiji: Pagal, mein raha ro rahi hoon.

Ishita: Par meine kab kaha ki aap ro rahi ho?

Toshiji looked at her and within a second her eyes moistened.

Ishita: Kyu khudko aise takleef de rahi ho aap!! Itne saal apne parivaar se apne bachho se durr kaise reh sakti ho aap? Aapne toh koi galti nehi kit hi phir kyu khudko kyu saza de rahe ho?

Toshiji: Tu nehi samjhegi Ishita. Mein janti hoon mere bachhe mujhse nafrat karte hai, aur karey bhi kyu na!! Jab mere bachho ko meri zaroorat thi tab toh mein unke paas tha hi nehi.

Ishita wiped her tears.

Ishita: You know what, ekdin aisa ayega jab apke bachhe apko dhundte hue yaha ayenge apni ma ke paas. Aur wo din bohot jald ayega.

Toshiji lovingly caressed her face and hugged her.

UK, 6PM

Raman was playing pool game when he was targeting the ball, his phone rings and his mind distract, he answered the call.

Raman: Kya Mihir!!! Hamesha galat waqt pe kyu entry marta hai?

Mihir: Meine entry kaha mari bhai, meine toh phone kia!!

Raman rolled his eyes on his comment and said: Baat kya hai bol..

Mihir: Wo bhai, apko india ana hoga. Wo log apse milna chahte hai.

Raman: Theek hai.

Raman cut the call and left for his house.

Night

Raman: Dad!! I have to India, actually Delhi.

Mr.Bhalla: Par kyu?

Raman: Kam hai papa.

Mr.Bhalla: Par Mihir hai na waha!! Won sambhallega.

Raman: Papa mein janta noon aap kyu mujhe Jane nehi de rahe ho!! But don't worry. Aur waise bhibhi his Surat ka sakaal tak yaad nehi mujhe agar unse mein mil hi jau tab bhi mein unhe pehchan nehinehi Santa. So relax!! And it's all about only two days. I will be back here.

Mr.Bhalla nodded and took leave. As son as he took leave Raman called Mihir.

RMihir: Yes bhai.

Raman: Mihir I am coming tomorrow. So fix the meetings on the very next day.

Mihir: Sure bhai.

Mihir was going to cut the call when Raman said: Listen!! WO Jo ladki hai... Kya naam that!!

Raman was trying to remember when Mihir said: Ishita.

Raman: Haan Ishita. Usko kehna presentation ki sarey files ready rakhe mein kal jakar check karunga.

Mihir: Okay bhai.
