What a wonderful post..All the thing shagun and Ishita said & did are correctly explained by U..My only regret with you is you have explained only ishita's side of story completely neglecting Raman's complication..which gave people wrong impressions

I completely agree.only shagun could discuss the importance of sex in marriage to ishita..though her words were harsh..she touched every aspects of sexuality in a Husband-wife relation.

I don't blame Ishita-Raman..their journey so far has been tipsy-topsy..also not helped with regular tension in family...be it by shagun-Ashok,Param-subbu,-simmi, romi-sarika, mihika,-mihir & now Rinki..also living in such large family(bhalla & Iyer) ,,they have little privacy..as the fly follows them like Vodafone Doggy😆

Also since Ishita & raman already have children in from of Ruhi-Adi..there was no inclination by them or Fly to have kids.

Raman-Ishita relationship has been build on Understanding & mutual respect..so even though they love each other and want to take it to next level..they are in no hurry or disappointed that they have not consummated ..

So the Shagun blast was required..thanks to CV ..also now they are on a right track ..because consummation will happen now for right reason not for only baby making

1. You are welcome. And, we are anyways of the same age group. I am 26.. but like I said, not even a quarter of your maturity I have 😃

2. In Indian society.. rather loud Indian families.. All of us are invested in families.. don't we..?? then there is a limit too.. But they are beyond reality.. Like I said.. The CVs are just silly at times.

3.Rightly said.. if she acts bold.. she must have slept with many men.. rather termed experienced and s**t. And, if she doesnt she is a dull woman no man would be interested in according to the society. I wonder why they say.. No matter how strong a woman is in her real life.. She is a turn on when a Man tries to woo her and she is shy. I wonder why they believe a shy and inexperienced woman is a turn on.. That proves the society's norms.. isn't it so bad for us?

4. I wish Ishita talks of her insecurities.. somethings that were mentioned in a million stories in the forum.. Yes, the CVs Ishita is nearing 30 and rejected by the man she loved for 12 years.. she had given up on love.. so had nil expectations.. but Raman's wife does have expectations and insecurities.. firstly because of his uber-stylish ex wife.. and secondly for she has heard it so many times.. that he used to be so active with his ex-wife.. and so cold he is with Ishita. These things need to be spoken. Moreover CVs try to show.. Man needs to be with a woman to have babies.. thats one mistake CVs Raman did.. He wanted to take the relationship ahead by asking her for a baby.. why not just ask her to love him.. and mention that he can't resist her.. that should have helped her get over her insecurities of her being a dull woman.. anyway.. i hope the CVs make this more sensible this tym. It should be for a couple.. not for ruhi's younger sister or Shagun's taunts.. I believe.

Hey Aani...
I see you are having a tiring day...😛

Thank god, you put out a different perspective for the spin happened in the show...& I actually watched the episode after reading most of you guys ...so I really enjoyed the episode...
Everyone, thanks for the wonderful insights...😳

I thought Cvs had this plot for consummation but due to the fear of dip in Trps didn't implement it & now they are doing it deeming it to be time or for whatever reasons best known to them...😆

So I mentally unwatched few episodes in the middle, ignored Shagun's goodness and went with the flow..My point is we are anyways getting a consummation so it is better to make sense of it than to nit pick it with the same old debate Ishita or Raman- who is wrong ...

I don't know whether Iam making sense here or not..but I had to rant it out..So here you go..

When Ishita mentioned things to the doctor I felt that she meant she is so content with her life that she doesn't find the need for physical relationship, which doesn't mean she didn't want to... just that it is not that important in the grand scheme of things as they are so happy with their life already...

But now after Shagun's outburst she must have realized how wrong she was and how important is a physical relationship, even when they have everything else how things can go awry in a sec..

& also I feel Shagun raised a doubt in her that...Raman maybe can want her like a wife but does he really need her as a woman...(you know without any qualifiers like wife,mother,bahu..etc)

& I don't know whether they intentionally mixed the baby track with consummation to untangle it now ...but I definitely would love to see them untie it...

And on a different note...DT nailed it so many times yesterday... her subtle expressions when Shagun was blabbering, her crying after Shagun left, & the anger with her sisters...I thoroughly enjoyed watching her..

Am I the only viewer who was actually saddened by last night's episode?

I found it cruel, tasteless and vulgar.

All this baby talk,it is cutesy, but only up to a certain point.Ruhi is a child so she can be excused for believing that going to the doctor will solve Ishita's infertility. The rest of us know better.
And yes, despite what everyone is saying about Ishita not knowing how babies are conceived despite being a doctor, she is not that dumb. She is aware of everything.

Embarking on a relationship with the end goal being a baby, that's intimidating for any normal woman. And Ishita is'damaged goods' is she not?I guess that is why no one found the usage of the word 'baanjh' by Shagun objectionable. It is a horrible, horrible word. How is pointing out your rival's physical incapability supposed to motivate her to get cozy with her husband? That is the door that Ishita is afraid to open. The friendship and emotional bond that has developed without a physical relationship, would it be able to stand the test of time,if she does not conceive after all?

And Ishita has not shied away from intimacy. But the flirtation that she was sharing with Raman, that made her feel special, beautiful and wanted. Now to be told that actually Raman is a bit of a hound dog and used to have his hands all over Shagun, and would remain shacked up with Shagun in the bedroom all the time, well, that's just the kind of icky image that every woman wants to have of her husband.Women are not much into threesomes, not even mental ones,no matter what Playboy and Cosmopolitan would have you believe.Just ask Shagun, the epitome of 'modernity'.She couldn't take another woman in Ashok's room and beat him to a pulp.

So 'Reverse Psychology' is just a load of horse-sh*t,St. Shagun. You enjoyed that, didn't you?

I rolled my eyes at her infallible logic. In order to keep a marriage going, you have to keep your hubby interested.Do the dirty.Isn't the reverse also true?Despite Raman's voracious appetite he failed to keep you interested

And it didn't exactly help cement your relationship with Ashok either.

I believe that physical intimacy is important for Ishra. So let them work it out themselves. But of course that would not appeal to TRP aunties.

More rubbish from CVs today I guess,in Raman's insecurities being ignited.

Ishita needed a wake-up call, sure, but being run over by a vicious, spiteful bullet train is another thing altogether.

Thanks for voicing out the truth. 👏

Raman really doesn't want Ishita as a woman. If I have said the truth, IshRa fans here in this forum would have vehemently opposed it. Since you've said it, all will happily accept. 😊

You cant and shouldnt always please everyone thats the motto I live by and I wasnt shutting down a conversation because there were contrasting views, just that there was repeat and repeat and repeat and I dont indulge in the practice

My honest opinion - when a straight man a straight woman share a bedroom day after day, they will soon get involved physically . That is pure nature . So whatever circumstances they brew up in a TV serial that couples do not consummate after marriage is not real . So to prove that then bring up things and situations which are even sillier.
I agree with the topic-opener that Ishita needed a jhatka from Shagun .

I already had such a long post with just these two can you imagine the length with Raman too there? 😆

Tell me about it despite private rooms the family is in their face so much you would think they all share a single room and the one time the couple had a chance to spend some alone time they barged in
Also since Ishita & raman already have children in from of Ruhi-Adi..there was no inclination by them or Fly to have kids.

I know right thank god they would not be thinking please let this make a baby as they get it on rather they would be on another tangent thankfully
