Part 1
Raman was waiting for the doctor to arrive his heart was pounding fast. His thoughts were full of the lady and her baby..is it because of him she lost her child..is it because of him? This question was haunting him since the time doctor told him that her baby is no more. He was on verge of crying..a fear gripped his heart. How will the lady react. She will forgive him or not. All these thoughts were coming in his mind. The doctor had called him to be in her cabin. She want to talk about something important..he is in the cabin since 10 minutes. Raman kumar bhalla never waits but for some unknown reason he is ready to wait. Finally the doctor came with some reports with her. Raman got up but she signalled him to be seated. She sat on the front chair and started examining the reports. And after 10 minutes she keep them aside to let raman know what's wrong..
Naina took a deep breath before starting "raman..i dont know how to tell u this but this girl is injured badly..and even her private part has been hitted with some sharp object. She is having blue marks on her body..may be created by belt or stick. She is week. Her blood cell count is dangerously less..i insist u to let her go. I dont think we will be able to save her.." she ended and raman glared at her "so u trying to say u r quitting even before trying?? Naina if u dont want to operate her tell me clearly. I will take her somewhere else..and" before he could continue a nurse came running towards them. She was panting badly "doctor..doctor that girl. Please come fast.." naina and raman rushed towards the ICU. Although its not allowed to let anyone enter in the ICU but raman pleaded so they asked him to be at a certain distance.
The girl was screaming..shouting..crying..protesting to let her go. Naina asked nurse to give her injection. But the girl seems to be so broken that she broke down in front of her..eyes red and puffy. Lips white in colour "Why are u trying to save me when i dont want to live anymore..please dont..dont" she felt dizzy and was about to fell but nurse held her and made her lie on the bed. Raman was standing at a distance but he could hear her clearly..the pain was evident from her voice. A lone tear escaped making him aware that he is crying for a stranger. He left the ICU and after 15 minutes naina came. She looked at raman as if asking if he still want to save her.
"Do whatever u want to do naina..but i want this girl safe and sound. Even if that means i have to spend millions on her i will.." he looked up. Naina nodded and left from there. She decided to have a meeting with her team to discuss the case as its one of the most sensitive case.
Its moring..raman was sleeping on the chair in not so comfortable position but his sleep broke when he heard some sound coming from the ICU. And a fear gripped his heart..something is wrong. He looked here and there..finally pushed the door aside and entered. And his intuition was correct..that girl is pulling all the strings out..trying to get up but just couldn't as she is too weak to walk. She managed to put a step forward but lost her balance. She was about to fall but raman saved her. He made her sit on the bed. She looked at him with her void eyes..raman sighed and sat near her..she quickly went back..fear was visible on her face. His heart contract..he shook his head "i wont harm u. Trust me.." the girl relaxed a bit.
"Yesterday u collided with my car. It was me who brought u here in the hospital. It was me who asked doctors not to lose hope but why u are so keen on dying?? Do u know life is precious. If u have some problem then it will get sorted now or later but u cant end ur life.." raman started off politely. He want to hear her out. He want to know why she is doing this to herself..but she turned her face away and raman sighed. He got up and was about to leave when he heard her saying.."i m already dead..only my body is here. Thanks for bringing me here but u must not waste ur money..i just dont want to live anymore.." she whispered.
"But i will not let u die..and that's a promise.." Raman smiled and left from there. He informed naina about what this girl did today and called in security agency. He asked them to get him 4 guards for her. He assigned them near the ICU. Now he is determined not to lose the hope and to make her understand the importance of life..
A smiling raman left the hospital. He was moving towards his car and suddenly remembered he forgot to ask her name. But that's okay. He will ask her in the evening. He assigned one of the nurse to feed her on time and give her medicines. Raman left the hospital. He so wanted to know the reason of her words but he know he have to wait for a long time.
